It works as a powerful light when the herb chamber is removed. So anytime someone is lost in the dark and happens to own this vape, there will be light.

But when in use, if the chamber is not packed full, the light will shine nicely through herbs and it looks nice to look down the glass tube to see the glow.

I did think of adding a led to have stronger light inside the glass tube, little bit like the glass top of Venus when boosted. I thought I would make a cut out window to the top side of vaporizer, so that the glass tube would be visible and this way, with light, vapors could be seen visually but because the vape is so close to face, it is not really in the line of sight and also would weaken the structure. So I decided it is more practical and purposeful and cleaner design this way, without a vapor window.and anyway, when the chamber is not packed full, the halogen will shine trough herbs and vapor can be seen in the tube, slowly rising with a warm glow at the bottom. So it has both, stealhiness and warmth.

How about a very simple video of an actual person using the device?
If you can find a medical patient or even test it yourself, just keep your face out of the video, that would be awesome!
Just a general video:
Over view shots of the device.
Turning on, heating, loading and of course taking a hit and the resulting cloud/s.
And of course what the ABV look like afterwards.

Should to be too hard!
We will take anything at this moment!!!

May I remind you, seeing you are so busy, you could always ask one of your testers (maybe there is one with video skills) to do that for you?

Keep us updated on your progress, I really like this...A portable vape with halogen heating...surprised not more members have come to this thread and praised your inventions!!!

Although things seem to have come off the boil somewhat at the moment. I actually kinda thought that this was already a fully complete, ready to go Vaporizer - hence the announcement at the beginning of this month.

@villekille2 - I know you have previously mentioned that early units could start shipping around May/June, so I was just wondering if you are still on track for this, and if you are any closer to having an official release date yet?

Also, can you tell us how many units you currently have out for testing? And could one of your testers perhaps put together a short video of the PocketPot in use? You can use lavender or any unregulated herb for this purpose.

And finally, any news about your website?

I made a little video, wasn't that easy as one hand was reserved for holding the smart phone but at least it proves it can be used with only one hand ;) vapor test with vacuum cleaner was especially hard, wasn't possible to boost while holding camera and activating suction but at least I was able to catch some vapors on video. In real it looks very strong and quickly can extract the vapors from a full chamber.

Looks great ! But I don't understand the "boost". Once I chose the temp I desire, why at the last moment would I want a boost ? And I must admit that at first I was a bit afraid when I saw the touch sensitive panel, as it's often a geeky thing, not really ergonomic. But from what I can see in the video, it works nicely.
IMO, a simple switch could have done the work too, but perhaps I like simplicity a little too much :p

well, about interface, it is actually very simple. I like simplicity very much too, and before I got to test how it works, I had similar questions about the touch sensitive controls but turned out that it works really nicely and not a "geeky thing" feeling at all to it. Since it is designed to be carried in a pocket, it works nicely to keep the unit smooth and flat all around, and there are no moving parts in the electronics to ever get damaged. And the start up gesture is easy to do but prevents it from accidentally turning on. And when it is on, it reacts only to full sweep gesture from bottom to top or top to bottom, to change power levels, or the press of boost. And you don't really need to think where it is, as your fingers will land on the sensors naturally when holding the vape. And there are some little delays for buttons to react, so that just running your fingers over it doesn't get registered.

She looks great! Thank you for that video it answered just about everything I was wondering about.

Please do let us/me :cool: know the second they are available! I'm definitely going to be grabbing it the moment I can.

I love the cartridge for the herb. I can see my self picking up a few of those for on the go.

And about boost, it's a function to get immediately maximum power out of the vape. It's just the way this thing works, you just put down fingers when taking a hit, and it will deliver very nice vapors. I have explained earlier in this thread more how this works and the idea behind all. Main thing, it is very flexible to be used in many different ways. And another main thing, the power level setting IS power level setting, not temperature setting, it has 10 steps from 10% to 100%, and boost will give "110"%"
