More miniature sea creatures than pets & animals....Nice and soothing when vaked:leaf::worms:

This underwater macro short was filmed in the Lembeh Straits of Indonesia entirely with a Sony a7S camera housed with a Nauticam housing. Most of the creatures shown ranged from the size of a grain of rice to perhaps 2 inches at most.

The guy was tracking animals and wanted a look at the Ivory. They could have taken that Elephant out but they weren't hunting Elephants bc they were legally hunting is my take. Did you read the article? I love animals specifically elephants, but I love humans too. :2c::peace:

I did read it ,but a bit 'glancingly' it seems i must admit, but as this is in there:
"while guiding an elephant hunt" i think i can be forgiven.
Still not too sure about this, if he was leading a game hunt as it does seem, my last comment certainly still holds.

Ps I also confess to not having the same love for homo sapiens though...
Pss Just had a look at how i first read this on FB and there it has the headline:
"Hunter trampled to death by elephant he was tracking to kill for ivory."
So if that's the case, again would just be just servings IMO...;)

 Lilica's a really good dog!

Stray dog travels 8 miles every night to feed her family

There are no shortage of stories of man's best friend demonstrating their loyalty and heart. I have reported a few on this very website. However, every now and then a dog will stand out for their actions.

This is the case with Lilica, a Brazilian stray who has made the news recently. Every night, Lilica takes an 8 mile round trip, braving the busy streets of San Carlos to visit a woman who leaves out a food parcel for her.

Lilica then brings it back to the junkyard where she lives. Without touching a morsel of what's inside until she has returned, Lilica shares the food with the other animals in her junkyard "family“: a dog, a cat, a few chickens and a mule.

Lilica at the junkyard where she lives in San Carlos

Lilica was abandoned at the junkyard when she was just a puppy. The caretaker, Neile Vania Antonio took care of her to begin with, feeding her as she grew.

Lilica quickly became friends with all the other animals in the junkyard, and as she grew had to begin fending for herself.

Upon reaching adulthood, Lilica fell pregnant and had eight puppies. There was not enough food at the junkyard, so Lilica began searching further afield so that she could feed them.

That's when she started going out at night, walking for miles, in search of scraps....
