I have been reading a lot in these forums the last two days, and Im sure you are tired of threads like this.
I live in Norway and the only thing available where I live is maroc. I dont want to mix with tobacco at all, so I am looking for a vaporizer and have nailed it down to 4 different ones.

Arizer Solo - I hear good things from it, but the next one seems to trump it in every way.
Silver Surfer - As above, only better(?) I also like that you can easily clean the wand and re-vape the "gunk".
Lotus - I really like the ease of use and portability, but Im afraid i might combust with it.
Vapman - Seems easier to use than the Lotus (imho), but i read most people are not fans of vaping it since you vape when its cooling down.

I am mostly leaning towards the Silver Surfer, but I really dont want to make a bad decision when im about to spend that kind of $$$. I was even considering the volcano, but it seems to clunky and sucking on a bag kinda ruins the experience for me.
Have anyone tried vapeing hash with one or more of these and how to they compare? Is there one that clearly blow the other ones of of the water? And would any of the Storz&Bickel vaporizers do hash better? They seem to have real solid products.

I am open for other suggestions.

I haven't had much success vaping hash w/o shaving it as thinly as I can. Hopefully, someone will steer you right. Since hash is a mixture of oil and plant waxes and such, it is hard to get air through dense material. At least that is what I think. For all I know, I'm full of shit.

As macbill stated, the problem with hash is density, and the answer is to shave it instead of looking for a model that can vape a chunk efficiently.

They're solid but they have no special vaping technology that you can't find with many other models.

I am mostly leaning towards the Silver Surfer
It's a solid model that will do a good job with hash, assuming you feed it pieces thin enough for heated air to penetrate. Even if you don't shield the hash from glass and/or screen, cleaning a glass wand is easier and safer than messing up the heating chamber/bowl on some models.

The only vaporizer on your list that will really shine with Moroccan style hash is the vapman with the concentrate sieves. You may want to ask some questions in the vapman thread as there are a number of people from the EU and one or two from Norway that use the vapman mainly with pressed hashish like you will be with great results and no shaving it thin or stirring just placing little chunks in the vapman and vaping just like you would with dry herb. The other vapes you name are all good choices for herb but will actually kind of suck (IMHO) if your Only vaping hard hash.

EDit: IF you check out @NorVape 's posts in the vapman thread you will get a good idea of how well it handles moroc hash (kind of like it's made for it).

^What he said^ You should definitely speak to my man @NorVape on this topic. He is very well versed in using hash with a few different vapes. Not to mention he has also been christened with the title of "Ambassador of the Vapman to Scandinavia and surrounding territories".;)
His title was given by Rene, the maker of the Vapman.
Happy Vaping!

I don't know where in the country you live. Probably not Oslo or Bergen if all you get is hash, but I suppose you are talking about decent quality hashes (pollen, svarting og sånne ting). They are hard to vape properly in most vapes. The Vapman with screens (rister) that are sold on the vapman site is a BEAST with hash!

Soft, hard, black, blonde, brown. Do not worry about the hit being cold. Hash requires more heat to produce vapor. You should consider using it with water. A standard glassbong with a 14mm downstem is a good way to start if you own one already for example.

Search up my posts in the vapman thread, and feel free to PM me :)

But trust me on this. Comming from a small country we probably have access to some of the same hash. Vapman is the one your after.

Oh and it does oils and herbs really well, should you get better hook ups or move to the cities :)

Edit: also, it is really hard to combust import hashes in the vapman for some reason.

Wow, I got some real solid answers here :)
@NorVape I live in a small town way up north :/ 90% of the time there is only maroc to be had here. Alltho a friend of a friend have had good success ordering from the deep web, have to ask him if he can get oils from there also :)

Anyways I´ll order the VapMan then, good thing its so cheap compared to most other vapes.
Any other things i should get when ordering, and is it best to order directly from Vapman?

Oh, Nordlending!

Just deal with Vapman directly, they're the prime example of how a company should treat their customers :)

If you order from the deepweb, please order concentrates. It's the essence of the herb, stripped of all unecessary plant matter, thus it's tiny and easier to smuggle.

The same reason why you have no weed, but a lot of hash even beyond the Great Wall of the Knights Watch lol. Easy to transport, easy to store.

Remember, when you vape, you'll taste the fillers, so please buy clean hash and PM any questions you have, or ask them in the Vapman thread, when you get rhe Vapman :)

Oh, yeah, get a shit load of concentrate sieves. Hasjen er mye hardere mot konsentratristene enn moderne konsentrater.

Edit: my fuck, it's five in the morning, I just switched language there. Sorry bout that, guys, didn't mean to exclude any one :)

No, that one is made for modern full melt concentrates. This is old school hashish, so it contains a lot of plant matter that doesn´t really get you high, but it contributes a lot to several very unique flavor experiences.

We're talking hashes like the ones in ICMag's big import hash thread :)

Generally speaking:

-Modern hashes and other concentrates are big in the US and Canada.

-Old school hash is made in Morocco, Afghanistan, India, Nepal (!), Lebanon, Pakistan, parts of China etc., and especially the Moroccan variety is widely available in large parts of Europe, with some of the others popping up now and then. Depending on where the people are getting bombed, usually. Haven´t seen real afghani hashish for a while, for instance. The Chinese variety is the only one of these regional hashes I haven't tried or seen.

EDIT: The last sentence seemed like I was bragging. I'm only pointing out that all the other forms of hashish makes it's way to the West on the regular, but the Chinese hashish seems too stay in China. Same with the Turkish, another hashish I've never seen or tried.
