I was really stoned last night and saw the notification for this thread. Ended up on youtube watching golf vids and found this. Laughed so hard I cried.

I played most my life, then car accident took out my back. I tried to get out for fun a few times a year since, but finally gave it up this year. My last round was at a historical course in a Pro-Am, I made it through 17 holes and slipped a disk on the 18th tee. I was in so much pain, I picked up my drive from the fairway and walked it in.
Perhaps one day I will play again, but I am in no rush to re-irritate my back any further.

It's getting that season again! Time to hit the links! Ive got a VK battery unit and my UD's and HI to keep me happy while I spray my ball around the links. I wonder if they will ask questions if I try to get the covered carts, even when it's lovely out!?!

I probably play night golf just a much as day. A couple courses around me offer "official" night golf (lighted flags and course markers). Usually we play on local muni courses after hours. I'd pay but nobody's there to take my money. Sometimes one of us will run ahead and set a flashlight in the hole, pointing up at the flag. Mostly we just wing it. You can see fairly well after your eyes adjust to the dark. It helps to know the course too. BTW vaping and night golf go hand in hand, literally. Oh yeah, we use special balls with LEDs which are very bright. They go almost as far as regular golf balls.
