I agree, I measured no voltage drop across the head with the button pressed.

My Kiss cartridge measures 1.8Ω 

The fill-up cartridge measures 3.8Ω  (it's a 2.4 cart. But, I must have tried it a million times trying to figure it out)

BTW... My daughter ordered an Omicron Mini along with my recent Kiss Cartridge. So, we loaded the mini and got lung exploding hits. Like I used to get with the original Kiss cart when my Omicron was new. I'm hoping I can get that kind of performance from my Omicron.

Hi. Curious..did you try putting any of the cartridges in question on your daughters omicron mini?

Also check the resistance of the leads without the cartridge and minus that from total resistance.

Anyway... I sat down to make the measurements you requested, but I don't understand.

Could you please clarify what resistance I should check.

I thought you meant check the resistance between the center terminal that the + side of the battery contacts and the bare metal threads that screw in to the battery holder. This resistance is 0 with either the cartridge installed or removed, and with the button pressed or not pressed. But, I don't think that is what you meant me to do.

i want to purchase a vape frim w9 but im not sure whic one to go for.

what is the difference between ophos and omicron? also they bith come in lite versions if im not wrong?

the difference is the threads. Omi Lite being a 601 mod style which means flat top, and the Ophos being a 601 ego which means it has a outer ego style thread.

You would need to check the resistance of the wires that connect to the meter. Then you would recheck the cart resistance and minus the resistance that you got when you tested the wires.

okay if i buy the kiss titanium kiss carts, and use my own battery, inhave a dr dabber battery and a vision spinner 2. will the performance be exactly the same as using a omicron light with it? i know your battery maybe of higher quality but will i get the same performance, will they out put the same power?

also if i buy the 7.2v kiss cart, will it work on my 50w istick mod? thanks guys

also whats so special about an omicron or persie? why notuse a regular pen like ophos or omicron mini? in the end they both use the kiss carts.

Ophos and Omicron mini regulate to 3.7V via pulsewidth modulation

Omicron and Persei deliver raw battery voltage, when you use them with good quality batteries like AW that have low internal resistance and high amperage output, they deliver greater performance than the integrated battery vaporizers.

how about the ophos vs onicron lite? whats the difference?

and which is better the kiss carts or the long extract cartidges? i wanted something that holds more but performance is more important. and of course i want the least amount of wastage.

All our devices from the Vaporizer through O-Phos have the same performance, just different capacity batteries. The O-Phos is the only vaporizer in the UP Tech lineup that has 601 Ego threading, all other vaporizers have 601 Mod threading. The O-Phos and Omicron Lite are identical internally, and simply look different, they both have 900mAh batteries.

Better is subjective. To some people, the more conservative cartridge is better, they want something like a CO2 prefill with 100+ hits and they prefer the EO cartridge. To most people, ease of use and flavor are considerations. I always recommend the KISS Globe and KISS Ti coils because it's easier to use than any other cartridge and gets you through the learning curve of draw technique in about five seconds with your first use.

The KISS mini is becoming extremely popular. It's nichrome wire so it won't have the flavor of Ti, but man it's awesome if you want something to use all day and keep in your pocket. I am rocking KISS Mini on my Persei shorty setup and have never been happier on-the-go (well except for I lost my last Omicron HVD and am now devastated)

kiss carts are definitely way better, but hold less. i haven't used one myself, but you should look into the kiss mini. i understand it holds a bit more than the standard kiss carts. note that it is only compatible with the mod style thread (omicron, not ophos).

Guys,
W9Tech again went way above and beyond my expectations. I shipped back a broken Omicron HVD top and placed a small order for a KISS mini and Boro Globe. In return, I received my order, an updated Omicron top with a compressible center pin, plus an extra free KISS cartridge and battery case.

Thank you @THC SCIENTIFIC and @SamuraiSam...you've a customer for life.

how does the omicron differ to the ophos/minicrpn,except the battery capacity? is the omicron a vv battery? does it have a dial or something?

I have 2 omnicron HVD heads.

On one of them 95% of the time I get a purple flashing light. Once in a while it will fire blue but It quickly goes purple after 10 secs. This happens on different kiss carts.

On my other one it fires the cart when it gets screwed in. I don't have to press the button and the coil gets hot.

Any ideas?
