Discontinued Lily vaporizer by Triihouse

Fuck! I have VAS and I just realized everyone on this entire site are enablers! Damn you all!!!
That out the way...i have a mighty/crafty, davinci, ascent, pax and the mflb (not too big of a collection) I mainly like portables because I got things to do and trees to help me do it.
I love the mighty and it is my go to in MOST situations...but there is one problem...it takes too long to get high!
While at work I have to commit to 10 or 15 minutes per session, which is starting to feel like I spend a majority of my time feeling out when that window can be (with about 3 sessions per shift)
There is the 5 minute load/heat up time and 10 minute extraction window after finding a suitable place to vape at (I work outside)
I like the flightbox EXCEPT the battery situation makes it undesirable sometimes (iI have upgraded batteries too)
My VAS logic makes me believe that while the torch powered vape is new territory as I've never owned/tried/or seen one in person... it might be the peice I'm missing to finally complete my collection :mental:
I was eyeballing the glass vaporgenie and have seen the coil vaporgenie for cheap locally, but I cannot find too much on their function and satisfaction rate
Because I trust FC I found this thing (the lily) and am smitten :love:I am looking to purchase something soon and just want to know if anyone who uses the lily as well as the mighty or crafty thinks about the two
Again, never used a torch based vape, only plug ins and battery powered portables (except putting the car cig lighter up to my straight shooter)
My assumption is that the lily would :rip:kill the VG anyways?
how is it for fast on the go sessions?
Any help is welcome!

I use mine at home, or at friends. Haven't brought it on the go bc its not stealthy or easy to use torch for me like that... But others have, how it was designed really, and Lily is one of the strongest hitting vapes (never used Mighty, but its session of full pack, Lily and ESV can work on pinches with fantastic results)

I use my Elevape SV the most on the go, quick strong hits on demand. Looking forward to the Grasshopper to be even better at this though...

I like the look of the grass hopper too and might get it when it sees the light of day, never even seen the ESV, but now I'm intrigued...you think it heats up faster than the lily?

Thanks. How is that working for you?

It may be as simple as using some aluminum foil, but that would take away from the visual appeal a bit. But if i am looking for functionality on the move, who cares i guess.

Yup, still working ! The silicone need to be cut the right size so I'm able to take it off and put back in without problem.
Just pay attention the glass is always all the way down since the silicone can move.

Check out the thread, I'd say they're even, both instant heat, but lily hits harder (no auto shutoff for one thing, plus full flame power and breath/carb holes vs coil temps and draw speeds) If used with straight mouthpiece lily is much much harsher, while esv is super cool, but lily is fantastic through water (or even just a longer vapor path like my bent solo stem). Elevape could have a higher learning curve for you though (you'll see what I mean in the thread, some members didnt have great experiences, but others had no problems and love it), while lily is far simpler and analog ofcourse, both do require frequent stirring

The ESV is harder to use? I do really like the look of the lily, but what are looks...its about performance
has anyone used the vapor genie coil?
The fact I don't have a butane powered vaporizer is making me jones for one

Well for me, knowing how to use both perfectly fine now, Elevape is easier. I mean I always though it was easier, but if you read that thread you'll see how others disagree so I dont want necessarily guarantee you'll have the same experience as me. I do think its a pretty incredible vape, and it allows me to take a quick strong hit anywhere...

But its nice to have a butane vape in the line up, I'm glad I finally do. And for me lily was the easy choice, having tried my friends Daisy. I'm still curious about the Lotus, but Triihouse vapes are just so powerful, and yes the wood is just lovely. I think they make great desktop vapes, in that they do kind of wreck you, but with Lily its great bc you can do that quick and easy in your car before going into a movie (but the Elevape I can bring into the movie....)

I just received my WPA from Triihouse. It seems way too narrow. It slides with no resistance in and out of the mouthpiece opening, and the rubber O-ring doesn't keep it in place. Anyone else get one yet? Does it fit like you anticipated? I can't see how this is going to be easy to use with the Lily being so unstable with the WPA in place, then trying to maneuver a water pipe and a lighter.

No. It's a 14mm adapter which fits perfectly into my water pipe. It's the end that replaces the mouthpiece on the Lily that is so loose it falls right out with the O-ring in place.

Oh that's dissapointing to hear, hopefully just a defective one perhaps? I haven't even received shipping confirmation for mine yet

Did you try inside mp?
It won't fit inside the glass mouthpiece. I'm sure the idea is to remove the glass mouthpiece and replace it with the WPA, but the diameter of the WPA I received is smaller than the diameter of my mouthpiece, rendering the piece useless as it just falls right out.

Yay, Tommy just called and came to the rescue. Because of the manufacturing specs for this particular piece, what you have to do is use the O-ring in not the standard fashion. You remove the O-ring and put it in sideways on the bottom (think of putting a coin in a vending machine.) That creates the snug fit that keeps everything in place.

Now it's time to fill the water pipe.

Only you can prevent ganja fires.

That's a really bizarre method... I'm happy that Tommy helped you out though!

I wonder why they made the adapter this way? I'd probably prefer just running a tube from the mouthpiece to a bubbler.

That is one beautiful jenny...lol..I received my wpa today and as noted the oring had to be put down in a weird angle but it works..with my setup it would have been fine using it regular as well because of the angle it woulda set right on the perc. I also ordered a intake and a torch and forgot to apply my discount code again..and asked if I could get an extra heat intake or oring or something..(I had previously ordered new intakes but received ss mouthpiece instead but brenna is amazing and sent me three extra intakes so I got 4 total. total class act. and super fast shipping on accessories. takes little longer on the unit but they are actually making them so all is understood..well without further ado im gonna give this thing a try with water...

I had this video lying around. A friend came home and I thought it was time for some discovery. Here is him inaugurating Lily through water. I'll probably make some other one with a better camera etc. someday since she seems to be a good cloud contender.
We tried 2,3 bowls and abv was pretty even with steering in between each hits.

I use Lily regularly but I still have to wait to see the place she will take. She is capable of a lot good, but still I can't really repeat the same results always.
I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get any answer from Brenda here or through mail. I'll leave it like that since I'm pretty much satisfied and honoured to have Lily in hands.

Yeah, it's taken me a while to get reproducible results but I think I'm there now. It'll be interesting to see how much the updated version makes a difference.

Are you using Lily v.1 or the updated version?

Edit: looking at where you have the flame is how I used to use it but Tommy's video a few pages back has a shorter flame instead, placed further into the intake stem. Since I adopted his method, I've had much more stable results (and way way way less combustion going on). Just a thought, hope that ain't too patronising :-)

My Water Lily arrived today, working great right away, solid in the bong (so so bc the bong is chuggy) and amazing through the inline honeycomb bubbler. I'll need to get more comfortable with the angle when in the bubbler since its higher up than my silicone mod before, but overall it works better. Even though the sideways o ring isn't 100% airtight seal, it doesn't really matter for the lily (noticed this aspect when using my bent solo stem sometimes, if I didn't have it pressed fully against the o ring for the whole hit). And its great how the lily can just rest sitting in the right angle bubbler... This is a must for any lily owner imo (unless you connect to water another way you're happy enough with!)

Updated version. Not at all, I appreciate your comment !
Actually I have read it some page ago and have been giving it one or two trials. I'll try to experiment more.

What I realized impact also the results is the wideness of the flame. I got some regular Honest which have a larger broad flame now after more than a year of use. And it works pretty good with Lily. I still play around with the flame size and distance from heat intake.
I have another torch with a much finer flame which I prefer to use with the Lotus than Lily...
