Hi FC!

So I received my unit on monday but i had to wait until the next day(tuesday) to get to use it since my HE Dualti Enail adapter came on that day. Pretty awesome how both came in about 5 days from ordering! I got the 250w 16mm coil to go with my nail. What do I have to say about my set up? ITS FRIGGIN GREAT!!! Just the fact that i dont have to fire up the nail + multiple dabs after the other is already enough to call this a winner! Had some friends over the other night and man did we put this thing to work! EVERYBODY LOVES THIS LITTLE GUY!

I cant really say anything but good things for now though since its only been no more than a week(but really this thing has been awesome so far!!). So I guess we'll have to see how it goes from here.

I started with 710 degrees but it turned out to be too hot so i had to keep puttin it down until i found the right temp. it was crazy cuz I had to dab along every try.. 610 was the winner! lol

anyhow heres how my set up is looking like-----

Needless to say im pretty happy with this investment so far and the service from the AUBER STAFF has been GREAT! i got this in a week US-SEA!

Once again Id like to say THANK YOU to everyone here..especially you @PoopMachine for making this thread! If it wasnt for this then i would've ended up spending alot more from another company! so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! this has made alot of things easier and safer for me and everyone around me thats for sure!
Well i guess thats all there is for me to say! catch you guys later and happy vaping everyone!

CHEERS FROM THE LAND OF SMILES~

We've moved The Terpz unit into fulltime rotation but the Auber has always been solid. Its on its way to the Cup for use out there and Ill toss the cheapo nail in the trash and ship it back when we're done out there.

Is there a go to place for cheap replacement coils? I was thinking about getting a barrel coil and a quartz nail.

Got my Auber RDK-200 today with the flat coil. Currently have it on my RooRtech Flush Recycler. This is my first enail and I am really enjoying it, I currently have the temp set to 700 and I'm using the provided Auber universal Ti nail however, I already have an order for domeless.com's Domeless ceramic nail and carb cap that should be coming in a few days.

Also, I like the coil having an angle in it so it isn't sticking straight out from the rig.

Not a bad deal for $188 with shipping.

I am close to pulling the trigger on the deluxe rdk 200. My only concern is that it may be too large for travel. Can someone confirm whether the unit and the coil will fit in a pelican 1120 case. Also how much does the unit alone weigh?

Decided to time the heat up on the RDK-200 with the included universal nail. 2 minutes to 500F. 3 minutes to 695F. It took 2 more minutes (5 full minutes) to hit 750F though. This unit should be great for low temp dabs once I get my ceramic nail though.

Looking at the auber specs for the unit and the pelican interior dimensions directly from the pelican site says the unit will fit.
Thanks, I noticed that, I was just wondering if it would fit the coil and nail as well so that I could have a little portable kit.
What do you guys think of the new rdk-150 DC. Looks like it is built to run off of a battery which is pretty cool.

What would be my best option when making my first steps into the world of enails? I have narrowed it down a bit yet, and Auber is still on my list.

If buying my first enail, what would be the best coil/nail to get? a bit overwhelmed by the different sizes, but my feeling tells me to go with the 20mm coil? Or would this take loner to heat up then for instance a flat coil? any consensus on this?

I had purchased a battery to try and make my RDK-200 to work while camping. That didn't work out so I ended up using an inverter and made it work through the car. Its pretty cool that they are making a unit that is able to run on battery as thats what I was trying to do. Nothing better then perfect temp dabs in the woods.

Oh, maybe an important detail would be to mention I will buy my nail according to the coil I choose...or would that be better the other way around? for now the titanium nail they provide will be the option i have budget wise...

I think someone said before the size of the coil is dependent on what nail you are going to use with it, but if the nail will be bought after the coil(or together with) which would you guys/girls get as your first one?

Edit: hmm just checked their shipping costs, and 72dollar is a bit too much for me. Massdrop does not mention if they also have 220V models available...

Unless you have a specific nail in mind that only works with one type of coil, it doesn't really matter IMO. Maybe skip the flat coil if you think you might use quartz. If you diversify later on you'll want to get another coil or two so make sure that's an option from whoever you buy from.

I personally prefer a flat coil for my uses, it's interchangeable between my Auber universal Ti nail and my domless.com ceramic nail. Just slide it off one and put it on the other, done. 15.8mm coils fit most of the old standard enails out there (highly educated, d-nail, etc.) 20mm coils fit some larger Ti nails but are mainly used for quartz nails or quartz bangers.

It really just depends on your personal setup and what you prefer. Nothing is stopping you from getting different coils later anyway so really it's up to you.

Also, fairly sure massdrop says the current drop is for 120v not 220v. They require a different coil so it's easier to do one or the other and massdrop being a US based company.... I'm sure you can see why they are only offering the 120v option.

I purchased a 16mm Quartz banger(14M) with enail hook
http://www.dhgate.com/product/hot-s...s/231231858.html#myaccount_orderdetail-1-null

and the matching 16mm coil

There is a little barb on the side of the banger to hold the enail coil on. I have only had it for a couple of hours but its working great. I had a coupon so it sweetened the deal too.

If your ordering more then one piece ask for a discount for shipping together. I was able to get $8 off. Shipping was very fast as well. Arrived in 8 days, arrived in Canada in 5 days.

Ill let you know if I have any problems with the coil.
