Why do you vaporize?

Hey fellow vaporists. I was just wondering why everyone here chooses to vaporize? Is it health reasons or just your preference over combustion? I think in would be cool if everyone said why they vaporize and what have they benefited from it? I vaporize because It allows me to stay in shape in basketball. I also seem to enjoy the flavor more and the effects are much stronger. Smoking is something I only do when vaporizing isn't an option anymore.

I do it because I HATE everything about smoking. Became a medicinal cannabis patient last year after trying it for the first time (age=23). So I started smoking and got sick from it. Knew that cannabis worked, though, through edibles and THC pills.

Tried a volcano, was very impressed and it changed me a lot. So I bought a crappy Made In China knockoff, waiting on a PD after reading about it here.

Also the flavor is extraordinary. Incomparable to anything else you can do for yourself. Effects, to me, are much more pronounced and enjoyable than when smoking.

The only downside, though, is the appetite increase. Nearly kills me how much I eat sometimes.

I vape for health reasons. I'm not a wake and baker but I like knowing I'm not inhaling nasty chemicals into my body.

For my health! I was a cig smoker for 10 years, so I a quit smoking altogether. I went vapeshit and bought 3 diff types of vapes in a month. I love it, my buddies haven't caught on though ::rolleyes: they sware by bong hits.

Health reasons mainly, but I also like saving money, saving herb, making goodies with ABV:D

I switched to vaping because of health reasons and to save some money. Also, it's much easier for me to control my high vaping and I prefer the high from vaping over smoking or edibles.

A more clear-headed high, I can be more functional.
I'm very physically active.
I don't want health problems down the road.
I don't like smoker's cough.

It's WAY healthier than smoking, uses half as much weed or less, doesn't stink, and it rarely causes me to cough. Aside from the fact that well rolled blunts are way cooler, I can see no downside to vaporizing.

I'm an athlete so health reasons is number one priority. And I wanted to get a vaporizer because it gets you way higher. Smoking also makes me very congested, and congestion leads to ear infections for me.

+1 On the blunt call spaceman, blunts are classy as hell. I'm gonna be smoking one for my b day tomorrow:D

I vape because I like the high better. Also because I like the taste better and because there are no nasty smells, soot or tar to clean. It also got rid of the persistent hack I had developed from yrs of daily chronic smoking. I cannot give enough reasons, but I think reason # one is that the high is just superior. :2c:

The main reason is weed last much much longer. Then there is that pure high that last so long and feels good with so little herb, and the smell is eaisier to mask . Plus when you have kids you dont want such a strong smell in the house. Oh and if you get some really good stuff like "NORTHERN LIGHTS" YOULL NEVER WANNA BURN ANOTHER JOINT, AFTER TASTING good quality weed in a vaporizer

Tastes better, lasts longer, no funk-mouth, no lingering odor, can get high inside now, saves money, none of the toxic effects that smoking produces. Did I mention tastes better. The way I describe it to newbs is you taste the smell.

I vape for a lot of different reasons. I have asthma and that is probably the biggest reason is that it's easier on my lungs. I also go through a lot of pot so it helps me be more efficient with my usage. I like the high that it gives and that it doesn't burn you out like smoking does. I do it for stealth reasons because I can vape almost anywhere without squares catching onto what I'm doing. And of course the taste! I love rolling the hot vapor around on my tongue, the flavour is so refreshing and delicious.

i love the high. its a very clear headed high. coming up with ideas for things comes with ease when vaping! had a buddy over and we were hittin the vape (just got it a week ago) and we figured so much out about people/things. we had the best ideas for things...for this i nick named my vape "The Brainstormer"! hahahaha

Hey, new to the forum,

I don't smoke or vaporize anymore, though I used to smoke for 8 years but quit 2 1/2 years ago but I guess I am sort of trying to be converted to vaporizing LOL, even though it's probably a bad idea for me in general...

But I like how many of you do it for health reasons and sports, cause that's why I would do it, because I am a life long martial artist and I couldn't deal with having poor cardio because of the smoke.

Yet the only time I tried a vaporizer, just one time I tried a "Vapir" it did NOTHING for me and I hated it.

Maybe I just used it wrong or maybe it was a bad unit.

What I DO like about what I am hearing is you guys saying that many of you actually get MORE high than from smoking, and that you can really taste and smell the stuff and produce huge clouds of vapor.

I thought that was impossible, cause when I used this thing I couldn't taste or smell much of anything or see any clouds of vapor.

3. taste (close to being my second choice, but Fuck Combustion)
4. economical (;pd;) :D
5. stealth / odor (vapes can stink it up...so thats why this is last. If you HAVE to :ninja: your vapor just hold the hits in until they dissipate into your lungs)

Main reason is for health issues, but I also like the stealth factor, conservation, and I prefer the high ;)
