yea get a dropdown, you have to buy one of those nice ones since the cheap ones just break after a while of use. get a custom dropdown from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd
The possibilities are endless. @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd goodies give my China glass an inferiority complex. But it makes them soooo much better.

As if I didn't have enough enails already, here's what I've been using lately:

apologies for the nastiness in that last one, don't worry, it got cleaned, lol.

I think i put this one up there with the genesis nail in terms of flavor, I do like the sapphire disc thing for sure. I've always preferred dish-style nails, but I think the infiniti with the new hat swing-top carb cap thing is definitely my new favorite hole-down-the-center style now....I've been using it a LOT lately, I'm really liking the whole built in carb cap idea, not having to have a separate piece for the carb cap....

Decided to go economical and bought a terpz enail. The guys are really nice and threw in a $10 discount. So far, very pleased with our communications and will be happy to support them. I also want to thank the FC community to encourage me to take the step into digital from analog, and telling me that it is all about the nail. I don't group dab and take 4-6 dabs a day. The analog got me off the torch, I hope the terpz will let me taste all the goodness of my new pukinbeagle Quartz nail.

I have one of their units. Its solid, you'll be happy with it. I have it paired with a Happy Daddy Genesis nail and its great.

Im hoping to bump into one of the owners out at the Cup later this week.

Can anyone point me towards a good enail for 220/240v?

I Really don't know exactly what I want flat coil, 16mm coil, 20mm coil?

Connection type - 5 pin XLR?

Or what nail I want...
I'm leaning towards Quartz because I've quite liked how my banger has performed, And I've been fortunate enough to try 2 different pukinbeagle Quartz emails that were awesome.
Buuuut, pukinbeagle Quartz costs a bomb...

Then there's ceramic - I've like how my cheap China ceramic domeless has performed the last week or so, but I know ceramic can have cracking issues (my domeless already has a crack forming, but I'm assuming enails will be a more gentle and even heating process.

Or the old standard ti- no worries about breakages, but there's the worry of joint lock (I guess I'd use a dropdown so that'd mitigate that risk) and it generally is regarded the worst for taste...

I'm really after something on the cheaper end of the spectrum - it's pretty hard to justify the massive expense of some units when my torch setup is currently costing me ~ 50c a week or less in tane...

I think I want a digital unit... Maybe...
But also an analog unit could work I guess so long as I can consistently dial back to the same temp...

I've done some vague looking, but not really any thorough researching, the 710 whip looks interesting, but I'm a little concerned about its temp range (I plan on pretty much doing low-temp dabbing, but if like to have the power to up it a bit or do a burn off if needed - unless that's an unrealistic expectation?), and d-nails are just waaay too spendy for me at this point (plus I'd need an inverter which I just refuse to deal with... If it's a 110v unit I just don't want to deal with it )

I've seen a couple of cheapish heater units on dhgate for around $100-150, that say they are 220/240v, so I figure what I'm looking for has gotta exist, I just haven't really seen them yet...

I know it's pricey, but the Errlectric comes in 220v or 110v.

Another newb question. I'm looking to buy a happy daddy genesis nail or highly educated nail. What websites do you guys buy nails from? I assume there are 4/20 sales. Appreciate any input.

Mods: can you combine posts.

I know 420titanium.com is having a sale. 15% off with 420 code. I've ordered from them multiple times. Great company!

They carry new vape nails. I highly highly recommend new vape. I have their 16 hole head and their standard center post head. Both are awesome!

Aqualab technologies carries highly educated and I'm sure they will be having a 4/20 sale too!

I havent found the controller to be as crucial as the nail. Maybe some of the more expensive controllers are "better" for some reason like soft heating, etc but the people Ive talked to can explain why its mostly sales bluster and not something you REALLY need. My two units work great.. I know theyre 110s and not 220s but the technology appears to be pretty solid.

I bought my Happy Daddy nail right from them and their support has been stellar. Ken even called me and spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me talking about the nail, how to use it and just shooting the shit. Theyve got my business for life. I hope to pick up some Chommy Tongs and maybe a few dabbers out at the Cup Friday.

If you are interested in reclaim, I highly suggest one of the dropdowns I got @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd to make for me. Its the best thing since sliced bread for reclaiming your waste.
Here I was all content to just use one of the cheap dorpdowns i got from DHgate once I get an enail, and now you've given me something else to get from JoDa!

My wallet: :rip:

The cheap ones really dont work well at all. I have one.. it has some reclaim in the dish but the whole thing is covered in reclaim and looks nasty. My other drop down doesnt really have much amber to it once you go past the inlet.. maybe a small tint but nothing like the others. Then gravity just slowly pulls the reclaim into the dish.

the cheap ones break after 2 weeks of constant use. i had it happen in front of my eyes, almost had a piece fly in my eye. had a moment where i felt a piece flew in my eye and i started to scare myself.... now when i think of that moment it feels like theres something in my eye......

Ick. I used to vape reclaim in a pinch but not anymore. It makes me feel like my i'm suffocating. Even if I winterize it. tastes horrible too. So now I just mix it into melted chocolate or put it right into my tincture. Only vape the fresh stuff now. and the tincture is super heady

But the dropdown I saw you posted does look spectacular. It just I'm all about getting all that vapor straight into my lungs and holding it til i blow almost nothing out. I want as little reclaim as possible. The problem is it's so easy to burn through your stash when you don't have to deal with the torch. Nail burnoff stink was a main reason I went to enail.. stunk up the whole house if you put oil on a couple seconds too lates prior

Divine Tribe e nail on the way! I already have a drop down, but love supporting FCers, so I will have to contact , I believe they're in the mitten too!

Tight! which nail are you getting?

I currently have a Quartz banger and, HE Ti V1(old school!), but ordered the quartz swivel cap, and regular quartz e nail and universal Ti domeless from Matt......, Nothin' wrong with a little variety. If there is anything weird about the Ti, I'll pick up another one(I don't have experience with any other Ti except HE) suggestions welcome!

BTW... Crazy fast shipping!, my package is already in MI, on the way to my town, if I go to the post office later, I might even be able to pick it up today. I bet postal workers can't stand us Vapers!:D

LOL I'm not alone!! Always jonesin at mail time ;)

Great choices with the nails. The swivel cap quartz enail is sooooo badass. And the uni Ti will always be there for you when you break your quartz pieces haha

There is a little bit of size difference between the Ti and the quartz enail, so some slight tweaking to the coil may be necessary to facilitate the different sizes.

PS I learned today that volcano's and enails in vicinity of each other DON'T MIX. That moment when you realize your 600 degree nail and coil are coated in sticky melted volcano bag. omg the travesty i wanted a dab after that LOL. Needless to say the volcano, after it's violent eruption, now lies dormant under my desk. Moral of the story FUCK BAGS IN GENERAL.
