They are leaked screeners sent to reviewers, and should have been watermarked (ew!). We don't know which four episodes they are, or even if they're sequential. It's a pretty safe bet that episode 1 is one of them.

Confirmed, episodes 1-4. Watermark almost non existent, blurred rectangle in SW corner. Good quality as well for the size.

After a mini marathon, season 5 is looking impressive so far.

Edit: @Vicki at 1.5gb total file size, that is doable.

i've timed out 3 times ... giving up . besides , i'm in the camp that if it seems like hbo show is spoiling the books , i'm gonna bail until the book is out . i enjoy the books MUCH more than the show . not that the show is in anyway bad , but the theater between my ears has always been superior

@vapomancer I heard the Series and the Books are going to diverge on the plotline from here on out. Could be wrong, haven't read the books, but had some friends tell me there were changes in the last season as well.

I'm starting to think that everyone will die before Winter arrives, including all hope of GRR recalling the plot device of "storyline" being helpful in moving things along. And, I've read the books.... not sure if they will ever get to Winter...

However, at this point, we are about to start Season Four on Netflix.

I watched Episode 1 last night and have 3 more to watch tonight and this week. It was kind of anti-climactic to be honest. I have really been looking forward to it but getting the episodes early feels weird.

Someone is going down for leaking this. Such a massive and expensive production and then it leaks ... oh dear.

I watched the first two last night and will watch the second two later today (I guess).
First one was a bit hmmm, but it picked up a bit in the second. Looks like there's a major shift from the book storyline coming with Jaime Lannister already...

I have heard that the show will eventually move faster than the releases of the books. AND that GRR has provide plot details of the future books so the show production does not have to wait. Soon the show will be spoiling the books. :hmm:

If You Watched Leaked 'Game Of Thrones' Episodes, HBO Might Be Coming After You

According to reports, HBO is tracking down the people who watched those leaked "Game of Thrones" episodes. Though no serious legal action is being taken at the moment, the company is said to have sent "thousands of warnings" to those with Internet connections that shared the shows.

Through anti-piracy partner IP-Echelon, HBO is reportedly telling providers to "contact the subscriber" and "take appropriate action." The company tells HuffPost the anti-piracy efforts it's implementing are "standard operating procedure."

Reddit users have seemingly posted examples of what they received:

HBO can come and meet me in the Fuck You thread lol. Wow, no spoilers but by the end of Season 4 it is back to that classic Game of Thrones 'jaw-dropping' action kind of episode. What a great series!
