Mine is one year old. Bought it at last years 420 sale. Easy to remember it's birthday.
Used very much every day and does show some wrinkles but can still get er done the same as new. One suspicious looking spot but no signs of actually leaking. I don't touch as I'm sure it would not fair well to being poked at. So has made to it's warranty as promised and beyond. Not bad considering it is met to be a replaceable low priced plate.
I would not mind a more durable piece when available but would not dismiss the old neither as is a very powerful tool.

Well, if you think that was a mistake, for $25 you can resolve it. I bought the long AL stem with mine and I think I've only used it 3 times. I much prefer it through glass.

Actually 420 will probably get it for less than that.
Unfortunately I'm broke :p When I'm less broke maybe I'll pick up the latest head with a glass attachment. I originally got it with the intention of portability.

Honest torch keeps on surviving... It started leaking gas multiple times, but ive manaaged to somehow seal it. The gas escape pathway got clogged few times too, but i cleaned it. Then the sparker battery died, so i now use bic lighter to ignite the gas. Even it requires its own technique to work... and because of the clogs or something i have usually limited seconds to use the torch itself :borg:

@wax I think also there was a change in the heating plate V2 has the ridges and V3 has a flat plate to help with the problem some people had with hairline cracks in the plate. or do I have my Vs confused?

V3 came out with plate ridges until the plate-ocalpyse caused Max to redesign the plates into what they are now.

Anyone have a lotus vs nano comparison? I have always been amazed by the lotus but I do not really wan to get it if its not a hard hitter. I have a pretty high tolerance so I was not sure how a butane vape would work. Any thoughts appreciated

We are also now selling the MFLB Orbiter and a kit that includes the Orbiter.

Great idea to add the orbiter, I was not sure where to buy it but you give me no alternatives.. Orbiter and replacement plate are on the list..
I guess it is too early for higher temps cap, isn't it?

@SecureSwede I have both a Nano and. Lotus,... I also have an Arizer Air.

My Lotus is my dry vape of choice at home (with long al stem), and hands down the best vape I've ever used when it comes to bubble or imported hashes.

It kicks the ass out of the Air (and my back up solo) for taste, effect and vapor quality.
Don't get me wrong, the Air is a great bit of kit and if mine broke I'd buy another without hesitation - I use it for out and about and it fits that niche for me perfectly, it's just at home I'd never chose it over the Lotus.

I find the Nano and Lotus perform very similarly for me. Efficient, tasty, on demand convection heating etc... and the effects and ABV always look similar.
The technique of using the torch takes a bit of leaning, but you need to find that sweet spot on the nano dial too.

From my perspective, and experience with portables I've owned and tried, until there's actually a portable nano this is as close as you'll get.

I think I am going to drop the money and grab my lotus! My only quetsion is if I buy the WPA kit do I need an adapter for my D020-D? It says 14mm and the d020-d is 18mm I believe so I guess I need to buy another adapter as well?

edit: said fuck it and bought the orbiter kit!

I think you'll like it and be happy you did, nearly the only way i use my Orbiter now. Once I used the two together I found it almost hard to believe it wasn't actually designed for use with the lotus, it just feels so natural to have the lotus a couple feet away on the table while hitting through the whip.

Thinking of buy a lotus with the 420sale code. Should i get the short or long stem? Right now I own a UD and love it. I have been looking for a portable vape to take with me to friends houses and such. How does the bowl size compare to the UD? Also when does the sale end?

The D020-D order now and have it the end of June.
18mm is the female joint.
18 to 14mm reducer bushing is what you need anyway to join the glass world!
