Like it was yesterday. I still use the same technique. The only difference: I run the fan and let vapor come out of the adapter end before I connect it to my water pipe.

Youtube will not post my video, I don't know why. At least the Drive upload is watchable now. Just showing how I hooked the Herbie to my VPX Hydratube with things I already had at home, plus a couple changes/additions I made and finally how I'm planning on collecting reclaim

I use it the same way, with the 7th floor tubing and 7th floor 18mm glass converter. It has huge airflow and milks up my fc187. Love this machine.Still using my Herbie with my bubbler, and 7th floor tubing. I'm so glad I have it now that I am chronically ill. It helps so much. Good to see you @Engineer

Not sure if anyone watched the video so I'll just post my reclaim tip here. Basically I took some hemp wick and shaped it into a puck about the size of an aroma pad. Next I took a little reclaim I already had collected and put enough on the hemp pad to allow it to stick to something. Then I just popped it into the top of my hydratubes Intake (where reclaim always collects).
Can't wait to saturate the hell out of it and then pop it in the Herbie bowl. Granted most of the reclaim will be captured from using the Evo (reclaim tends to collect in the whip on the Herbie, has anyone just stuffed the Herbie end of their whip with cotton yet?), but since I plan on baking the hemp pad in the Herbie I figured I'd share here as well.
Im thinking of getting some 7th floor tubing myself but is the difference that big ? And if it is does that just lower the efficiency of a stock herbie? I personally like the stock whip just fine but if I could milk my HT faster..

I would stick with stock whip BRAND. I used the 7th floor whip and it became deformed after many uses and I just stopped using it then.
Been about a week since I got the shipping label to send Herbie in. And I still haven't even printed it out.
DAMN it's hard to let go of this vape.

I watched the video, @BRAND1SH and I like the way you think out of the box! You have some cool mods going on there, my friend.
A half-hour video is a lot to take in, however. I would suggest editing that down a bit next time to a more reasonable length.

Thanks Stu! I couldn't agree more. I planned on making a six maybe eight minute video and when I was done I was really surprised at how long it was lol. In hindsight I should've recorded two separate videos, but this is the first time I've ever recorded a video like this so now I know to keep them short. I will say hearing myself talk for 30 minutes is definitely weird!I watched the video, @BRAND1SH and I like the way you think out of the box! You have some cool mods going on there, my friend.

And yes this vaporizer is amazing, considering the fact the only downside is the whip cuts off the airpath occasionally. I really live my vxl, truly, but the Herbie is like a Tesla on regards to efficiency, where the vxl is more like a Hemi lol. Bigger clouds or more clouds?? FWP !!

This is very true! However I do like the Herbie whip, the stock size diameter in my opinion is a great combination of delivery and efficiency. Besides I like to store the whip in the Herbie as I do take it to friends houses. A lot!

You still use the stock whip but put a short length of larger diameter tubing where the kink occurs to prevent it. Kind of like a doubler. Portability not effected. Hope this makes sense.

Ahh I got you. That probably would be sturdier, my way let's me store it all with the clamshell fully closed but I may try your tip as well. Thanks for watching!

Is it possible to decarb bud in the herbie for use in making an edible? My theory is that I could loosely fill the bowl and attach to the herbie after setting the temp to 290F. I would then turn the fan on and wait until I see any trace of visible vapor and remove the bowl immediately. Repeat 2 or 3 times with the same bud. Let me know what you guys think! Even if you think it's a dumb idea! Lol
