Blazin What is your opinion of the double screen whip? Do you have to open and stir the material often to get an even vape?

I must say, I love the dark stain finish on mine. Also, Stinkmeaner, I happen to like the double screen whip. I don't really have anything to compare against, but I find I do not have to stir for a solid single session. I would then stir later for a good second one.

Would you please tell us about your, "all-natural stains we use to create a beautiful finish". It is very attractive. I like the look of this item. And the 'all-natural' aspect is a big plus.
Glad to hear you like the look of our VaporTower!

Our natural, stain finishes come from a water-based dye that penetrates the wood grain producing deep, rich tones and vibrant color. There are no harmful chemicals present in the water-based stains we use. They are non-flammable and help maintain the properties of the Russian Birch wood. They are formulated to maximize transparency, showing off the clarity of the wood.

To maintain and preserve the finish, we recommend you clean the surface with a damp washcloth and wipe dry. We recommend that you do not use household cleaners or window cleaners (i.e. Pledge, 409, Windex) as they may damage the finish.

I say he buys one, that way the Vaporstore model can afford to get her roots touched up.

Vaporstore- If you read this can you tell us if you use the same heating element from the Vaportower and also in the Vaporbox? (the hollow one on your website)

Yes indeed, the VaporBox and VaporTower both use the same reliable 100% ceramic heater. Much like the rest of the VaporBox and VaporTower, the ceramic heater is made in the U.S. to help offer the cleanest and healthiest vaporizing experience possible.

The natural stains for all our VaporBoxes and VaporTowers are specially formulated water-based wood stains that are non-toxic and help preserve the strength and beauty of the wood we use.

Vaporstore if you read this forum anymore can you explain why your Vaportower looks curiously alike to this Chinese vape?
http://www.top-vapor.com/p5.asp
If you want my opinion, I think the Vaportower is made in CHINA. Just look at the 2 piece whip and the skinny little end where you attach the hose, that is China glass all day. Just look at the picture and imagine a different switch, knob, and whip. They are probably buying them in bulk from China and finishing them off (varnish, sanding, etc.) in the USA.
http://www.top-vapor.com/p5.asp

I think you are fooling alot of people but not me. Like all the sudden the people behind an internet headshop found the time to open a factory and start pumping out vaporizers, give me a break, not when you can find a Chinese company to take a design from and exploit it as your own like the rest of the world.

For stinkmeaner and anyone else interested, we gladly welcome visitors at our factory/warehouse in Emeryville, CA to see how much care and attention we put into each of our hand-crafted VaporTower and VaporBox vaporizers. Make an appointment in advance and we'll have someone available to help you. Everything from cutting the wood to testing the units before packaging is done right here in our factory. Each unit is individually crafted by one of our skilled technicians. These units are not mass produced, rather each unit is painstakingly detailed (buffing, polishing, sanding, staining, etc.) to make sure that the finest quality is offered to our customers. In addition, all our glass parts are stress tested on the highest heat settings for several hours and carefully examined before ever being packaged up and shipped.

The link stinkmeaner pointed out is a Chinese made COPY of our VaporTower. Top Vapor has no affiliation with us, and since it is not our product or something we can control we focus on educating users how to point out the differences between high-quality vaporizers and cheap imitations. We wrote an article on this exact topic which anyone is free to view and respond to by clicking the following link.

As you can see, the "tower" from Top Vapor does NOT include our dual-screen handkit designed exclusively by VaporStore, in fact it cannot even be used upright like our original VaporTower. With the included handkit, it must be laid down on its side to prevent material from falling down onto the heater as it does not utilize a dual-screen design. Additionally, the sizing of these knock-off units is different eliminating the possibility of us simply adding a varnish to color them. Sadly most resellers are unaware of these differences, and others simply want to make profit, so customers may be easily confused or misled by this cheap imitation tower. Our VaporTower is made in the US, with the highest quality parts so we can ensure the healthiest experience for any one who vaporizes. Health is a major concern for us and our customers.

Our VaporTower has been originally designed and made by VaporStore since 2006 to improve upon the angled VaporBox design with our exclusive dual-screen handkit to secure material evenly above the heater. It is such a popular and efficient design that it has been poorly copied by the same Chinese company that makes many other knock-off vaporizers. In order to combat the confusion that many feel when deciding between name brand units and cheap knock-offs, we ask anyone with questions or speculations to consult with us directly before spreading false rumors or making accusations on any forums. A "behind the scenes" video of how our VaporBox and VaporTower units are made is currently in the works, so be sure to look out for it to be posted on our website soon!

As I mentioned in my post I see that the whip is different, are you saying that your glass is blown in the USA?

Vaporstore, I will be first to apologize if I am wrong and I hope you actually do produce these and not importing them unassembled and putting your brand on them like many companies do.

I just wanted to thank you, VaporStore, for coming to our lovely forum and help to inform people about your product. Its always pretty neat when suppliers come here and talk about their product, makes the market a lot friendly when you've got representatives to ask questions to.

The VaporTower was being produced and sold long before any generic/clone vape from China was seen online, including on eBay.

I can assure you that we are in fact manufacturing our units here at our California warehouse. We do work closely with local glass suppliers for other glass pieces and are now working with other glass manufacturers in various areas to perfect a new version of our deluxe style handkits/whips.

In fact, our "l-shaped" VaporTower handkit design will soon be replaced by a new design where the hose connector is stemming directly out of the side of the glass gourd allowing for better air flow and ease of use. It will also prevent the tubing from becoming kinked and blocking airflow much like our "l-shaped" model. Focusing more on aesthetics, this new whip design will also come in a variety of colors instead of just our typical blue coloring. Rest assured that regardless of our source, we hold a high standard for our products that will never be jeopardized by inferior quality.

I've used the vaportower for about 3-4 years now, and I gotta say. I'm extremely happy with my decision to switch from smoking, to vaporization....... As with any product, you get what you pay for... But as you write your check, keep in mind this saves in the long run.... Not just herb and $, but it saves your lungs.

Honestly. It's made in the U.S. and I've inspected the circuitry myself and the soldering is top-notch. Regardless where the glass is made, it doesn't warrant a conclusion for mass produced craftsmanship on the entire vaporizer. Every item really is checked and electrically stress tested on-site with properly trained and competent individuals. VaporStore my homie for a reason.

They may solder it together, but I strongly believe that they get all of the components from China, probably as a partially assembled kit form. It just makes sense from a business standpoint to do it this way to save on R&D cost since they already have a successful vaporizer store/website to run. I don't expect to get them to admit this, it is my theory....but don't expect to come on here and say a few words to change my mind.

You can't tell me a whip like that is mass produced in America. Since their twins are always sold without that whip I am assuming they either designed the whip or have worked out a deal to be the sole distributors of the 2 piece whip. They even use the same Thin whip tubing that all of the Chinese vaporizers use, nearly every American or should I say American designed vaporizer company uses a thicker gauge tubing for their whips.

*The Vaportower and the Aroma Classic both use the same whip and other very similar traits.
*Both are supposedly made by internet based vaporizer distributers/websites.
*They both have twins or Chinese siblings without name branding.

The Top Vapor version is just too much of a direct copy, fortunately when the Chinese copy something they are usually obvious knockoffs, especially given the past copies of popular vaporizers like all of the Volcano Clones, Box Vape clones, and the DaBuddha knockoff.
http://www.top-vapor.com/p5.asp (just picture a different knob/switch and a branded or laser burnt logo.

Aroma Classic uses the same whip that is supposedly made and designed for the Vapor Tower and they are clearly re-branded Chinese imports.

So, stink, let me understand you correctly....

because you looked at a few pictures online and have a few ideas it necessitates your posts bashing (I really would consider it a violation of the rules, but I'm no mod) a seemingly reputable company that OFFERED to give you a tour of their factory? Riiiiiiiiiight. I do love to read your posts and I think what you say is generally coherent and believable, this I can't get on board with.

Why can't a whip based vape be mass produced here in the states? Not trying to be a dick here...but A LOT of things are mass produced in the US still (yes, not as much as their used to be), so why can't a rather simple vape be made in a factory here in CA? I'm not saying that the vapes AREN'T China imports...hell, I don't know if they are or not...I'm just saying it doesn't seem fair to write of this vape based on some pictures. If it ends up that this vape is produced in China, then you can be the first to tell me "I told you so"!

Maybe you should hold off on some of your comments until you are able to handle and examine the two vapes side by side. Just sayin...

finchrock24, pictures don't lie man. I don't know why you would care so much to bring my opinions down.

The pictures of the Vapor Tower look exactly like the Top Vapor model, the only difference is the knob was changed. The Aroma Classic uses the same whip that is supposedly made by and for the Vapor Tower and I just found an unbranded Aroma Classic for sale on Ebay. What more evidence do you need? Do the math, not exactly detective work...

Gotta love this forum, so civil, so balanced, so very ZEN.

Thanks to Stinkmeiner for being the rightfully suspicious consumer and wondering about foul play, including his pointing out the possibly impure air path in the EQ. Thanks also to Finch for defending righteous and kind vaporizer developers who have been kind, considerate and very up front on our forum.

This balance keeps us all from buying Vapirs.

I may be mistaken (vaked on Xmas) but isn't the incognito also going to be connected to Vaporstore? Do the vaportower and the Incognito share a heating element or anything else?
