Right now, I'm just a bump, waiting on a log, but thanks to SSVUN-YAH, I have a maple burl enano on its way.

Recently I started a thread on "ask fc" comparing an enano to an underdog. A tough decision that was made easier after SSVUN-YAH's offer to part with one enano from his collection.

I've done some reading and lurking on each log's thread and will take a look at the HI thread as well. I'm new to logs, in fact, I've never seen one in person, lol. But I've had and used a volcano for 6 years and recently bought a mighty, it's a battery operated vape. So far I like the enano's simplicity and natural look. I can't wait to vape with it.

I am impressed with this thread's activity and hope to contribute soon. Prolly with lots of noobie questions, lol. Also I'll soon have some glass to water vape with. On its way are a FC-711 and a FC-187.

Congrats and welcome to the club!

It see some folks stir after each draw. Is that really necessary? I like to fill and forget, I'm a lazy toker.

I also usually stir after 2, but I'm a flavor chaser. Really depends on how you use it. If you load light like @Enchantre says above, you probably will only get about 3-4 hits from each load. So a stir in the middle is all it takes. I find this is best to keep flavor and efficency at peak. Load a little more often, but well worth it IMO.

If you're loading more, like the 50-80 mg that @AhBeVapin mentions, I'd say stir every 2 - 3 hits. And, YMMV but I really wish the solo hit anything like this. IMO nano is much better vaping experience. More flavorful, more consistent from hit to hit, and definitely seems to use less to get me to same place.

IIRC you're usually a dry vapor, too. And, solo stacks up a bit better here tho not quite as well as nano in any of those categories. Through water? It's not even close IMO! solo produces vapor that works OK, but IME hardly any flavor and the little there is dies quickly. nano really shines here as it produces solid steady vapor and flavor can stand up to a little diffusion.

I just bought a 18mm GonG. I wanted to use it with my D020 bubbler. I have the Pinnacle Micro WT but I don't use it all that much. Eventually I will probably buy another bubbler.

I don't think mine has been shipped yet. It still says processing. I just ordered Thursday night. I hope I get it next Friday, I live in Wa. Is Epicvape out of Colorado?

EDIT
California - that's good
BTW... if you should decide that you need/want a 14mm gong - perhaps for concentrates? - I will give you one of mine, with or without the SS concentrate pad installed. I pulled everything out yesterday and cleaned them really well, and I don't really use the 14mm ones any longer. I think you'll need the 14mm for the Pinnacle WT... but mine are the glass screened. works okay with a screen inserted.

I'm thinking that the WT & 14mm gong with SS pad would be kick ass for concentrates... :)

That it would!! And, if you have clean, flavorful concentrates think this may be one place where the PNWT could do well, as long as you don't drip down into heater.

@CarolKing I am a tree top flyer, flower only, and I use the Nano as a thruster rocket, to change altitudes, and the Solos as my cruiser rockets, once I have achieved proper altitude. Not only spanning the globe, but that Nano will get you into interplanetary travel no problemo, if one wishes to travel the space waves. Very hard for me to notice pain in outer space. Each one will take the ABV from the other, and do its awesomeness with that too. The Nano does spectacular things with GSC. Indescribably delicious. My theme song for the Nano is Mr Pettys, "The Waiting", because the waiting is the hardest part. For it to get there, I mean, mine had to fight through a blizzard.

Hey now NATION,
@flotntoke I saw what you did there (smiles)...your tagging me, got me thinking...'ABV, smaller loads', 'move the screen' and 'make a new depth tool or two'. Working on it with great success so far. Thanks

Which brings me to @flying solo, couldn't agree more with your thruster vs cruiser analogy.

MY Conclusion: Owning a Nano can not only, aid in consumption reduction but it will also increase the life of the batteries in your Solo (if you have one or two).

All good! It does work great any way you use it, but the smaller loads give more flavor in each, and definitely is easier on the stash for me.

Do you know about using the notch on the e-pik as a depth guide? Think there are some pics around here somewhere, but I don't have any and just passing through so not really up for looking. If you look at the e-pic you'll notice one "leg" is longer. There is a little cut out on that leg. Put the cutout on the lip of the glass and the end of the leg should be right at your screen (flat side of screen towards nano - not basket side). Gotta be careful you don't load it too much and have load touch the heater screen. That can scorch pretty good. But, once you get the hang of it it's a no brainer.

I lied: Just had GonG of PARIS OG.

Last night while I was sitting in the dark watching TPB with the hubby I realized the one thing lacking with the E-nano...some sort of illumination on the dial so I can see where the number's set when it's dark. We've been bouncing around on the temp lately using water/dry and herb/concentrate of varying quality, so it's one of those ease of use things. I'm gonna have to hit that dial with some glow in the dark stickers or something.

This made me realize visually impaired vaporists might have a hard time using the nano.

@Ratchett, I know you've printed some temp control cases in the past, wondering if you've tried any with more touch-friendly indicators?

I'm still experimenting with how finely I like to grind, etc. but I'm loving this little unit! By the second night I was already "reclaiming" ABV product, so I'm almost a "pro" now! (not really because my ABV has a few real dark brown/black spots...)

Still; I'm surprised at how quickly I've made this transition and I still haven't combusted (on purpose) since the day I got it.

Thanks again everyone,

Norman

I think a cheap fix for that would be if Andy could make the dial numbers and notches with glow in the dark plastic. Hopefully one day Andy can built the first digital log vape with a lcd screen, imagine that? :D Or if the blue light was inside the dial itself instead of the log & the dial lit up, that would be really cool too. Thanking of a update? Nano 2.0? lol

Haven't really been on here much lately so I'm completely out of the loop on what's going on. Any new discoveries, tips and tricks anyone came up with?

Been doing some good reading on this thread. :cool:Trying to get up to speed so I will know a bit when I receive my unit. I would assume I will get it Friday. Monday for sure. It was processing until later today now it's ready to be shipped out. Tomorrow I will check out the tracking. I always like to watch the different stages of shipping. It gets the excitement pumping.:whip:

Too bad 4/20 is on a Monday.

I'm a mflb user and I'm looking to buy an enano for the weed efficiency. I will probably use it dry but I may buy later on a J-hook so I can vape with the nano upside down. If my glass stem breaks I may also buy a stem locally too if possible (do you think it's possible?).

I'm wondering if I should choose a 14mm Adjustable GonG or a 18/19mm Adjustable GonG?

I really don't know the pros and cons of any of those sizes? Are the 18/19mm glass ware more popular, so I would have more options? I presume the bowl size on the side of the heating element is of the same size. I also presume adapters exist to switch from one size to the other (18 to 14mm and vice versa). I'm leaning toward the 18mm one.

Very doubtful you'll find it locally unless you take them the stem in advance so they can make something similar.

You can also buy stems and such from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd - he does a lot of sweet glass for the Nano - check out his instagram

GonG size depends on the bubbler you are using it with. Both 14 and 18mm versions have the same "bowl size" - the only difference is the end which fits into your glass bubbler.

The most universal joint in glass is an 18mm female waterpipe, most of the waterpipes you see us use are 18mm pieces. Rarely do I see bubblers with a 14mm female fitting (These days 80% of new glass has a 14mm male fitting which is a bitch to work with).

I suggest you buy the 18/19mm Adjustable GonG as you will find MUCH more glass to fit that size.

While you're at it, check out this thread for some really affordable glass - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/page-636
