Discontinued Haze Dual V3

Yeah I just use the can for hash and wax. But I'm concerned about build up in the mechanism that switches between ovens. I can see the black building up already. I used a pipe cleaner but still. How do you clean those holes and the mechanism on the inside?

I only use the top oven for concentrates since you can get a pipe cleaner all the way into that opening. This a tip that @Vape Dr. shared that I never really thought about myself.

I think the key with Haze and concentrates is you need to keep on top of your cleaning pretty regularly or you are asking for trouble. You can get away a bit longer with just herb but even there you need to be diligent or your going to have problems with the mouthpiece.

These are allowable weaknesses as far as I'm concerned because most vaporizers require some level of maintenance and cleaning the Haze is pretty simple especially if you favor the cans.

The top oven being the furthest from the mouthpiece?

I clean it meticulously but cleaning inside the hole with the mechanism on the inside is a little worrying and not too easy. I didn't notice a difference in depth between the two holes and I cant imagine there is one. How would that work? They both go as far as the the centre where the mouthpiece is stored?

You're making this seem more complicated than it is.

Get a pipe cleaner damp with ISO. Turn the top (obviously take the battery out) to the corresponding oven to open the air path an just slide the pipe cleaner back and forth. Repeat for the other oven and air path.

If ur not sure ur all the way through just look inside the air path.

So put the pipe cleaner through the top where you would put the mouthpiece and out the hole in the chamber?

No, use the one closest to the mouthpiece.

I use iso and a Q tip for the mouthpiece channel and a pipe cleaner to clean the oven channel. If you stay on top of it you shouldn't have any issues.

How do you clean the oven channel? You pick one, it opens up, and you just stick it in and out?

Yes just dampen a pipe cleaner with ISO like @NickDlow said.

You won't be able to get the bottom one open all the way which is why I only use the top for concentrates.

Both of mine open as well all the way. Though I tried to hold the pipe cleaner and see if there is a diff and the one furthest from the mouthpiece goes in a slight bit less. I just soaked pipe cleaner like I have been, opened up the top and stuck it in each hole and swirled around. And I use a qtip for the airway like Scott said. I'm more concerned than other people because my mechanism stopped working on my first one after a few weeks even with me cleaning every day or every other day exactly the way we're discussing now which is why I asked what people do with hash cause I tens to enjoy using it.

Don't soak it so it's dripping just get it DAMP. You don't want anything dripping through to electronics. Might be the reason ur first one stopped working, especially if u clean every day. I clean mine once there is just literally too much resin that I can barley use it.

Ok yeah fair enough. I mean it's not dripping but it's damp. But the last one the mechanism wouldn't switch between the two chambers. It still turned on and the heat worked but the mechanism was stuck which made me think it was resin but I think it was just defective. Wasn't to do with anything electrical. It's made me paranoid but I'll just keep cleaning and smoking..sry...vaping the way I have cause from what I see it hasn't caused anyone else problems. Especially if like you say you wait til you can barely use it which I'll never let it get to that point.

Volute of Vapor
After less than 2 months with my haze I'm definitly glad to get it especially for hash & others concentrates but I don't like it with flowers, taste turn bad very quickly even at level 2 and with convection screens (the INH taste bad after some hits too but imo the haze is worst in this topic)!

Since I use it a lot with concentrates and since I more a nerd vaper than a geek vaper there is resin everywhere on the activating switch and when I took off the stem I get resin on my hands...although this reclaim is pretty clean and dabbable directly.

Still a piece of choice but not the first one when I want to taste my flowers.

I have put oil and shatter right in the can with successful results. I think the wicks are only valuable for e-juice.

I will sometimes just half-fill my cans, then pop in the wick and then top with the lid, just to try and compress the load a little bit. I feel like I get a few hits of denser vapor that way. However, I really haven't done side-by-side comparisons (which is silly on my part since the Haze has two bowls) to determine if that's actually the case.

When I am ready to take a break from testing my FM 5.0 pro and trying to optimize my Herbalizer I will have to do a few runs through. The Haze never really goes out of rotation but I wanted to make sure to give my Flowermates a thorough testing and review.

Both of mine seem to open all the way and I have no problem cleaning.

Both of mine seem to open all the way too, if its the holes that join the oven to the mp holder/air path.

If i shine a torch down the mp hole then switch ovens each hole lights up the same when selected.

Latest weekend project - Haze can case. Designed to hold 5 haze cans (or screens!), and a spare mouthpiece.
