I want this one, looking forward to more info, glad you got it in good condtion, looks nice to me. Hard to tell size from the pics.

I measured it at 13 inches, I'm really digging the piece so far. I got it for flowers but within the first couple hours I saw how dirty it was going to get so I cleaned it up and started dabbing out of it. I can take such fat rips. I'm going to have to order a dorpdown for it. Sweet rig. video up soon. It's rendering and what not. I'll edit this post to include it if it's done before work. Cheers ya'll:wave:

I got my piece today and so far love it as well. It took two days to drive around my town. Weird!

The diffusion and bubble stacking is even better than my 60t. The only thing I noticed different is the joint where it connects to the bottom is not quite high enough so it leaves an air gap between the bottom matrix and glass seperator. I don't know that this is really a problem because when the stereo matrix starts firing it fires really well. If you tilt the piece it can cause a few bubbles to plop over.

Here are a few early pics.

Hey everyone, I have been discussing new designs with Steven to consider producing. I suggested a Klein recycler like this but he said it will take a while to get a prototype made because it is a difficult design.

Hopefully he will be able to get this made but I figured maybe we could discuss some designs that would be simple to produce. Like these

Also I don't know if I have seen a large cake rig or one with a female joint so I suggested that.

I know this wasn't that long ago, but has there been movement on the Klein recycler?

I have not seen the ufo yet, but in the pics and GSH's report say the slits in the ufo head are not as big as the ones it is copying. I was trying to say with my pic to give it bigger slits and to make them squared.

I did a rough sketch today of changes id like made to my UFO and thought I'd share.

I sent it through to Steven today.

Its not going to tip over thats for sure.:)..Its to be used with a claison/honey collecter with a hookah style hose.
really pleased with the larger can size of the UFO.
the above featured "ugly" perc will be more subtle and elipse/saucer shaped in the finished can. This pic is purely for adjustments to be made if any.

thanks to everyone on FC that has worked on the UFO project. It is a great piece.

Thanks GSH.....Man those slits look tiny in the FC piece.it functions ok though and no splashback at all which is great.

I might just bite on the current UFO......if it sits, stable on a table without tipping over.

there's a definite distinct purr from the jhanpixel though.nice piece.I rem when You got it.Cheers

fc-ufo fast first impressions:

Pro:
It is big. It's like holding a big beer stein. Oh and it clears fine. No loitering vapors.
The ufo head. It hits with very little resistance and bubbles from the middle of the ufo. Don't change the slits! I take back my request after hitting it. The thing hits so easy, I think I like the resistance where it is at. I actually burned weed on my first hit because I was able to draw so fast. The UFO does not have a slowdown chug-a-lug like my tiny d-021 with its right agle before the perc..
The mouthpiece joint is not an issue even being 1/3 of the way down. It is early, but I have tried waaay more water than I would ever use (like an inch of water above the ufo) and I can't get water in my mouth or in the whip adapter.

Con:
The hose smells like gasoline. I rinsed everything with iso and the hose still smells.
The mouthpiece needs a bigger mouthpiece. The flared moutpiece is very small and the glass is thin. I agree with the v2 changes that it could be taller/longer and would say make the flared mouthpiece larger.
The glass mouthpiece for the hose has too small of a hole. It creates a bottleneck that makes the whole thing feel like breathing through a coffee straw. I have been getting nice hits without it.
The base is not solid. I can tap my finger just under the bottom of the ufo. It just looks heavy.

I'll want to play around more and take a pic or two. I am happy with what I got. Nothing is 100%. I am very happy with how it hits.

I agree, they looked bad in the first video because there was too much water... but they're fine the way they are.

That's why I recommended getting the silicone from the US instead of China... I tried.

I still think a simple strait 1-2" tube is better for a whip mouthpiece... cheap, simple, and hard to fuck it up.

Thanks for the writeup @jojo monkey! I had the same sentiment as @Kief, I'm still wondering why people wanted Steven to include a silicone whip. It increases the price, and I doubt anyone will actually use the whip provided......

I'd much rather buy the base with a single mouthpiece and buy alternative parts as necessary.

I need adapters. Who are the top sellers of those that sell adapters that people recommend? I really want an 18mm to whip adapter but am having a hard time searching dhgate to find that.

I binned the whip it was nasty. I am using an Arizer whip much better no nasty taste.I also use the mouthpiece from the Arizer also.

Hey so I know that you guys are not excited about the whip smell / taste. I don't blame you. I always sniff my glass when it arrives and it always smells disgusting :puke: even though it appears clean and new. I would never ever use one before throughly cleaning it first. After a simple green wash and then pbw it is sparkling and smells safe.

I am not sure how you would ensure your hose was properly sanitized. Boil it perhaps. Can someone confirm that it is actually silicone like I requsted? I was kind of worried he might just send normal rubber or something

blankrider - I put it in a one gallon bag with some iso overnight. I then did a peroxide wash in a bag and that got the remaining smell.

I am still gonna buy food grade hose.

I really think he should skip the tubing for the v2. The niche market does not seem to want it.

I doubt he would buy the medical/food grade stuff with the laser printing on the tubing?
