Indica lovers

This is called Pitbull an Indica that's suppose to be well over 20% THC, it has the taste of
Citrus and Lavendar a sweet taste. If you see this one pick it up. I haven't seen this at the
Dispensaries that I go to. It's only been at the MMJ Farmers market. A very good Indica.
Good for pain and sleep, a hard hitter.

That Firewalker OG looked awesome @Quetzalcoatl. I hope I see that one.

Still getting lots of Indicas got yet another half oz of Motavation (which is now on leafly) smells a lot more than the last lot. Still loving that Lemon Turpentine odur.

Got an ounce (well while it's about) of S.A.D aka Sweet Afghani Delicious (sadly not on leafly) Great strain imo

And to top it all a 1/4 of bubba kush hash - kills pain and tends to knock me out. respect to that one

up for SEED FINDER : an amazing job those peoples are doing !
Dont trust blindly to Seedfinder there is soooooo much errors. I mean a lot. First read description and then check the strain lineage/family tree and wonder is it same train? Then like you know there is many strains with same name but different geneticks but Seedfinder doesnt care that. its all the same.

Finally got some GSC tastes kushy with a minty aftertaste. So I'm guessing it's a thin mint cut. high wise it's a 50/50 balanced hybrid.

The mint one is supposed to be indica dom? This isn't no Skywalker OG sort of indica dom.

and a 1/4 of some sticky melty bubble hash yum

Of course I don't trust blindly SF to choose my strain of choice. It's just a good tool I use to get an idea of some unknown named strain. I've seen worst than Seedfinder in that domain and I also think that some breeders or company and the seed business and nomenclature in general isn't helpful at all.

More than the strain, the work done by the grower is more determinant to me and still then you could experience different taste and effects.
What we need is the strain genome ? For now the description from growers and users is the best way.

Only CBD oil can put me into my much seeked calmness, clear headedness and relax. My anger is gone, my temper is evened, my stress and anxiety is gone for good. THC made all of these worst to me... we all know the potentially very damaging side effects of THC, and it was taking the toll on me very heavily in the months leading up to my major swap to CBD. So while I'm all for indica, highly concentrated CBD oil is the only future for me.

Um, what?

Glad to hear you found a form of the plant that works best for you. It doesn't mean that the forms that work for others is somehow "damaging".

I personally REQUIRE a high THC Indica strain. high CBD does little to nothing for my medical needs.

Chill.

I also usually prefer high thc strains, and cbd seems to do very little for me which are appetite, depression, anxiety, insomnia. Strangely enough CBD only strains make me feel strange, depressed, and just weird in general. But, on the other hand, from what I have read from scientific studies, a dose of CBD is over 100 mgs.

Maybe I have not read enough. I do know it works for some stuff, unless the tests are not pure CBD, maybe containing something else like certain terpenes.

The cannatonic I have is insanely good tasting vaped edit: and has a sociable effect. Blocks the effect for edibles for a while for me though.

That's just how things are for me personally. So take it with a grain of salt.

The thing I really don't like about some of this CBD movement is that it seems like there are a lot of slick snake oil salesmen involved, and CBD oil should be WAY cheaper and undoubtedly would be if hemp were made legal for mass cultivation. The marketcost is astronomical, generally for low % CBD extract, and because there is a market for it, so I think it is scarcity driving up the cost.

I saw some C-6 BUDS (~20:1 CBD:THC) at a club about a month ago and it was $560 an ounce!!! For flowers. No joke. I never went to that club again. I don't know why some of these commercial outdoor growers don't put out some CBD plants. Even if the quality isn't great it will still make medicine. I can get some pretty decent buds for about $5 a gram (even by the gram), not sure why a CBD strain would cost 4X as much.

Yeah man I just decided to return half of the oz of g13 I just got, when I looked it up it was supposed to be indica but the dude told me it was pure sativa. I thought there was something wrong with it after a bit, it definitely wasn't as helpful for my medical issues as an indica or my usual hybrid is. Evidently it's just me.
Man ain't that some shit when you can go back to the weed store and return weed... blows my mind hahaa. It's like when I go to the dispensary and there's so much stuff... like why the fuck do I have a shopping cart?? G-13 has always been indica around my parts as well. Pure sativa, nah. Maybe a pheno that's got a bit of sativa but it's always been indica to me.

I got some old favorites that I just picked up bout half hour ago, GDP and some Master Kush. I'll toss some pics up later, can't find my macro lens...

:brow: Well not exactly a dispensary, but it is from california and supposedly sativa. I posted a pic* of it in the my stash thread last night, it seemed to match some of the pics I found online when I looked it up. It's just too racy for me so sativa makes sense, definitely wasn't how leafly described it that's for sure.

I clearly stated "for me". On the damaging effects, yes, it will cause damage.

RwaNde,
I picked up an ounce of Purple Kush on the weekend. Its very nice. I don't find it gives me a couchlock effect though. Its a kind of mellow high but a couple of larger bowls before bed are putting me to sleep nicely. Actually, six months ago I was stuck with mostly sativa dominant strains and now I only have either indica dominant hybrids or pure indicas. I wish I lived in a legal place so I could fine tune my use for medical purposes but I guess I can't complain :)

My Mind Is Free
I have definitely been digging Indica doms. for many years, although I admit I more got into them for shorter heights/flowering times so that it would fit my needs. Anyways, here is what I currently grow, I have a nug example over each plant example.

First is my Tahoe OG from Swerve. I really like Cali Connect, and this one is probably the best example I have picked up from his line. I got this cut a few years ago from a friend, and after a hard winter where I almost lost the strain, here we go, looks like were back on track. Sooo flavorful when combusted, I find that it has like... maybe a pineapple flavor when vaped... something tropical anways. Either way, really tasty.

lhSvQ81.jpg

This next guy is my Chem-Dog. It's definitely lacking as strong a diesel flavor as I have tried in other cuts, but it is definitely up there when I get a good flowering run out of them. I picked this strain up maybe a year and a half ago and it's really becoming my go-to strain. Definitely my favorite in the vape right now, it just stays tasty way longer than the other strains I have right now.

6QdkE4t.jpg

Last is my Strawberry Kush. Got this a while back when I was working at a hydro shop. Guy comes in, says he has some extra cuts of this bad boy, and I picked a couple up. This is that strain that has that in your face strawberry smell the second you open the jar, (when combusting) you pack a bowl, and the flavor just doesn't transfer for some reason. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome strain, but it's not like the Chem-Dog where what you smell is what you taste, so in that regard, it's a bit of a let down. When vaped, I get a bit more strawberry, so I am thinking if I can get a really good flowing run, this might be the fave.

If anyone in CO is reading this and happens to have an original cut of Sour D (legit. only please) I am super interested in a trade/paying! #Dream-Strain.

I had some sour d when I was in callie, was a very nice strain and my "guys" favorite

I think I figure it out; the g13 was probably a high-thc indica at one time, but they were passing it of as "last year's sativa" because it had reached the tipping point of converting too much of the thc to cbn:

"CBN (Cannabinol) is produced as THC ages and breaks down, this process is known as oxidization. High levels of CBN tend to make the user feel messed up rather than high. CBN levels can be kept to a minimum by storing cannabis products in a dark, cool, airtight environment. Marijuana should be dry prior to storage, and may have to be dried again after being stored somewhere that is humid."

The "high" was definitely more of a "low" for me, I didn't enjoy it at all unless I mixed it with my nice indica-heavy hybrid of choice. Any of you ever experience this? I don't recall this being brought up.

Whats with all the Sativa hate haha! Haze all day baby!!! Seems like people stateside generally prefer the indicas ... ogs, kushes etc whereas europeans seem to prefer the sativas ... Hazes, Amnesia etc. There are of course many exceptions to the rule. For indica i like the NL line and OGs are nice and tasty :)

There's no hate for sativas... This is a thread for indicas so I'm not sure how sativas would fit into this...

And no, the majority like high THC strains, we only grow indicas more because most people grow illegally (and can actually go to jail over a fucking tiny stem)... Indicas lend to shorter bushier plants with higher yields. Soon as medical started pressure eased off and growing lanky 100 day flowering sativas that yield nowhere near indicas became easier.

And plus for a lot of people sativas don't do much medically. Generally for me sativas are for recreation and indicas for medical use (chronic pain, nausea, anxiety). Even top quality sativas don't do as much as a decent indica for me.

White Widow all day! Wonderful thru the vape or combusting, great taste and perfect effects. Just enough Sativa to get you moving if you want to. No mind racing issues at bedtime and wonderful relaxation and anxiety relief. Cotton Candy is nice too however very unproductive. Bedtime can come early with Cotton Candy. The strain chart says it is Sativa mixed but IMO it is very slim.

I just mentioned the sativas because in some early poststhere were quite a lot of folk saying they didnt enjoy them, i just wanted to add balance!

Most countries are illegal in europe also but we still grow lots of sat. Generally higher yielding strains are hybrids as you will experience hybrid vigour (in the case of F1s) Indicas dont necessarily guarantee bigger yields at all.

I think people need to take the labelling of strains with a pinch of salt. Obviously there are proven consitent strains fom reputable sources if your lucky to live in a legal country. A lot of these 'indica' strains are poly hybrids and even if individual clones express indica groth traits they dont guarantee indica effects. I wonder how much is psychosomatic? Even the bud from the same plant can express different cannabinoid ratios.

My friends father is a gardener by profession, and he has a legal ten plant outdoors grow in Spain (I think). My friend says his father grows the same strain, but he positions the plants differently, so they get different exposure to the sun, and my friend swears he thought they were ten different strains.
