Mobius Matrix Knockoffs? Best Source?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a Mobius Matrix Ion (Or Clear). I've owned the real deal before, loved it--- to expensive to keep. I'd like a knockoff, but I still want it from a reputable seller and something that I could exchange for another, if some kind of defect happens. Anybody have a good source?

IIRC the matrix is one of the best type of percs out there, but it's been a year + that I haven't messed with glass. I see all this egg talk going on etc etc. If I'm missing something else that's extraordinary, please do tell =)

I did happen to find this guy:

Mobius Matrix Sidecar

and

Mobius Matrix

Is there a 2015 of the regular one and not sidecar? I've never had any experience with a sidecar. What's the benefit if any? Cheers!

I have that sidecar, the V2, and it hits great. It's a great cheap version of a matrix design that really purrs nicely. Because it is cheap Chinese glass, you may get a dud, but at the price who cares? I recommend it for what you are looking for...

You found the two most common ones. Try also searching for the seller @yingmin5. The seller you posted is trusted. Also try sunshinestore and Kathy057.

Alright great thanks! I noticed you have a knockoff Stereo Matrix. How do you like that as opposed to the bubblers? It would be for 100% home use, so I suppose size isn't a big issue. I've always been interested in the 60T's and the like

What's unique about the sidecar versus the regular one? And thanks for responding =D

I have had both sidecar versions (LH and RH) and the regular version. I prefer the sidecar with MP on RH side. I'm a leftie. Sidecar provides a better view of the bubbling action. Also moves your face away from the vape or nail or bowl(ack). I also have the stereo Nobius from @yingmin5 obviously a larger piece but I love it too. At these prices get both!

Yingmin5 is a great seller. Good customer service, fast shipping, and good quality glass. His gb-186 (stereo matrix knockoff) is a great buy.

Thanks everybody! Yeah. I'm definitely looking at that sidecar bubbler pretty hard. I'm kinda worried that the stereo matrix knockoff will be too much for my lungs / too much at one time. I'm a very light smoker generally!

It truly is like just breathing. That 186 has no restriction. Once you dial in your technique, even a light user should enjoy it.

Yingmin5 has two options one without label and one with. They seem to be different sizes as well. Which one do you guys recommend and how hard is it to get a label off? I already have the stereo matrix from steven on the way but I like this version as well, though it is a little more expensive

My gb-186 has Roor logos on it and I haven't bothered to try to remove them yet. Though I have read Thad an extended soak in Simple Green is all it takes. It is a great piece but it doesn't get the love it deserves. I think I'll rotate it in.

That GB-186 does look reallly nice. I'm just worried about all the perc slits firing, as I've seen reports of the percs being uneven etc etc. But of course, for the price-- looks spot on. This is basically the same as the Mobius Matrix 60t if I'm correct?

And yeah, I've soaked a few pieces of glass in Simple Green. It does the trick =)

get it...I'm telling you, it's second in my collection only to my deceased Ion!

So when your asleep and dreaming your Ion is still pumpin' it out ?

I still feel your sense of loss when you speak of said deceased beloved Ion. I know it's So hard to just settle for the next best thing once you've had that "perfect" piece.

They seem to be different sizes as well.

He makes two sizes, a 50mm and a 60mm can, not sure anybody has ordered the smaller 50mm one. I have one on the way from a Steven, was only $35.

Doesn't look like the smaller one is labeled and you can ask for the bigger one w/o label. Would love to see a 70/80mm version, :D, just to mix things up.

I measured my FC-187 V1 and it appears to be the same size chamber as the GB-187, 60mm. Feels bigger, so it must use thicker glass.

Also hat_shop appears to carry the FC-187 V1/V2? for only $42.
