My last comment on this....I'm not a lawyer, but, if it turns out Grasshopper is a fraud either due to malfeasance or incompetence, perhaps this forum could be liable for providing a forum (pun intended) for the perpetration of such fraud. Those posters, like myself, that are calling attention to the nefarious business practices that are known might be doing the forum owners and potential victims a service. Now, I realize that advertising revenue is king. So, the forum rules must not allow dissent, especially when biting hands that feed. It seems to me that eliminating this thread until the product is released would be the prudent course of action. Isn't the purpose of the "thread candidates" section to distinguish between products that are actually available versus fantasies? Yet, you'd think the Grasshopper is an actually available product based reading this thread. Kind of misleading to me.

yeah this thread would really do nothing in a legal setting to either help or hurt FC or GH themselves really. Not really here to argue but it just wouldnt really do anything.

Also I dont think it's really all that misleading really. I mean almost(if not every) page has at least one post saying they cant wait for it to come out/be shipped... so if someone is mislead it is because they misread or didnt read

You are hilarious. No forum is going to be held responsible and your doomsday forecast is silly at best.

If they were going for a rip-off they would have just run away with the $350k they raised initially and nobody would have been able to do anything. Once they accepted pre-orders it is a whole different ball-game. This thing might not deliver till Sept. 2015 but the chances are really high that it will.

The rules are the rules. There has been plenty of speculation, both negative and positive. What isn't allowed, and rightly so, is calling individuals or companies liars or criminals without an absolutely solid basis.

There are probably other places where that is permitted, but not here. Frankly, we should feel privileged that FC is one of the first places to hear about new and visionary products. And it's great that people are allowed to be brutally honest and critical about flaws and deficiencies.

But there has to be a limit to that, in my opinion. Allegations of criminality based on a slipped delivery schedule strike me as being beyond the limit of civil discussion. Having actually attempted to develop and bring products to market, I can certainly see how that can happen in the total absence of criminal intent.

I really got to hand it to Trevor. He's handling the setbacks like a champ and despite my disappointment, he seems like a very genuine person. Still looking forward to a GH release but not giving my hopes up for May.

Now I just need to muddle through with my solo for another couple of months. It's slow like a turtle, but it works.

DUDE! Seriously don't wait on a grasshopper to break into vaping! This vape, once released, will be in the beta testing phase at best when released! Pick up an Air or a Pax 2 if you have the cash!!! So many good options for you, out there right now!!

Really? Depends on the site I guess, but I'm active on plenty of places where moderation is practically invisible but members either behave, or take it upon themselves to rein in problems as they occur.

Which is actually the way I prefer it, but I still come here anyway, to talk about and learn about the GH....

I'm kind of in the same boat, I know that my titan 2 isn't up to par with the solo but its a sipping session vape and will make a great backup once my sleek stealthy stainless steel pen arrives. I'll pack it with 0.2 and probably get where I want to be with one hit. Didn't add Mr Binky's quote :doh:

If you look back at the email responses people have posted from Trevor, he explained that all the units that have been shipped out so far(excluding Buzz's) went to people that invested in them before the Indiegogo campaign.

Seems to me that those people deserved to receive theirs first, since they were the first ones to give the folks at GH money and all.

Plus, those units are effectively acting as beta testing at this point and could help identify any potential issues that could come up.

It looks promising. Im curious about battery life. How hot the MP gets. Vape quality. All the usual VAS symptoms. But I have a crafty, mighty on the way (tomorrow) , mflb and cloud v phantom to calm me down.
