Vaporbrothers Dabbler & Eleven Pen

I just ordered the VB Eleven today. I currently have 2 Original Micro G pens. How much better is the Eleven? I noticed the coil on the 11 looks higher up compared to the atomizers I have for my micro g. I just want to know the specs and improvements compared between the two. I dislike how quickly my micro g atomizers stop working and am hoping this new 11 pen will save me money.

As I was melting this evening's dabs onto a mini viper I stuck it in the photo booth. I don't try tiny dabs yet because I'd be pissed if it all fell to the bottom. Btw, when stuff melts down to the bottom I use the pen upside down (like i was drinking from it or something) and all the oil comes right back to the heater.

What is the difference between the mini viper, VB Ti Globe Heater, and the new VB 3-in-1 heater, in terms of heating element? Are they all the same type of ceramic rod wick? What are the benefits of a viper over the Ti Globe heater? Is the 3-in-1 heater just a LAYG version of the other 2?

They are all the same. I like the Viper for small loads personally and tasting the vapor but it does dirty rather quick. I like the 3-in-1 heavily loaded and I use it without the carb until the airflow isn't severely clogged.

paytonpenn,
Don't suppose you've tried the ti globe and could compare it to viper?

Just tried this pen for the first time. Full disclosure -- I was lucky enough to win one in last week's caption contest, so many thanks to the sponsors and voters! I've never used a pen before and I'm pretty new to concentrates, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I like this little guy a lot. Really smooth, and hits hard. I'm a little zonked writing this. Nice materials, too - looks cool and the little zip case it comes in is great. Didn't want this to sound like a commercial since I admit I got mine for free, but this is a cool little device and I'm psyched to have it.

A couple questions for the experienced users:
- how many pulls should I expect from one dab? I got 3-4 solid ones and weak puff or two, but I was probably loading a bit on the light side.
- how long before you have to replace the heater and/or battery? I know they both burn out eventually. How will I know when it's time to get a new skillet?
- is there a low battery warning, or does it just die? better to just keep it charged?

Thanks! Cheers, and thanks again to @vaporbrothers and @VaporWarehouse.

I will try to answer most of your questions.

1 - That really depends on the size of the dab. I personally feel it's better to load less with these skillets. But others many feel different about that.
2 - With careful use, expect a few months use from the heater. They are definitely the most consumable part. when the skillet no longer heats, it's time to get a new one.
3 - The battery in not replaceable and should last about a year. They have a finite number of charges. When the battery reaches 20% capacity, the button light will flash when it's pressed and the skillet will not heat. This is to prevent the battery from completely draining. You should get several good days, if not a week or more, of use out of the battery before you have to charge it again.

Congrats on winning.

okay so i have a vision spinner 2 battery. if i buy just the eleven skillet is it going to be exactly the same as buying the full pen? considering i keep the voltage at the lowest. can i expce the exact same performance or is the eleven batter designed for the skillets?

I've been enjoying the 11 but think I may have found a flaw. The silicone o ring around the bottom outside of the threading. It, upon close examination, has started to build up what look residue from the part of the cap that touches the ring when its screwed on. The part was originally black on the bottom is fading to chrome. Every time I unscrew and then screw the top on it is creating more residue on the o ring, I'm assuming of which is from the paint. It doesn't seem to be easily airborne, but I'm not sure

I noticed on the vapor brothers website there is a chrome or silver 11, as opposed to the black. Is this painted as well or all metal? If all metal is it possible I can get a replacement bowl and top?

I tried to get a pic but all I have is my phone and it came out really blurry. Plus I don't like hassle of third party websites tbh

Really would like an answer to this. I hate things like this on vapes, and off-gassing.

I am considering buying the stainless steel/silver one. Will it have this problem?

Nope, the silver/stainless one won't have the problem. Sorry guys, @530rasta @710 we've been thinking about this since the first post about it. The rubbing off won't happen with the stainless because it's bare metal, not a color finish.

The current black is a rubbery matte coating. The material has been around forever- it is typical e-cig. I can't imagine it being an off gassing problem worth mentioning and it would take us giant money to really study this one thing like we did VB1,2. We've dedicated most our effort in vape pens to the inside where it gets hot. We see the coating comes off with ISO and now we know a little gets transferred to the oring (probably helped along by the solvent nature of oil). Regardless, we've tried alternatives- I've gotten tons of samples of annodize-like finishes to replace the black, but they are greasy feeling, slippery, weird buzzy like feeling (like fingers on a chalkboard). People really like the matte black. To erase the question, try the silver/stainless model.

I'd like to ask you guys more questions about what you think- will direct message you for that.

. I would like to know this as well. And if what voltage would be best for these atomizers. Does anyone know the range of voltages that can be used? My gf uses 3.8 for her ecig so what would be best voltage for cannabis concentrates

I mainly use mine on a c-twist @3.6-3.8 but I have a cheapo 350mah that I think runs @3.3v and it gives nice little flavor hits. I don't go over 4v either

I can't say, I actually ordered both the vb heater and a kiss but the kiss was doa. When I returned it I ordered another vb unit if that says anything lol

They each have their place. I find this cart clogs easier than my KISS but luckily has a carb hole so its "no biggie" (fill 'er up).

Though yours probably wouldn't clog, I'm just overloading and enjoying it. I don't overload my Viper and that stays pretty clean (except the glass) and taste phenomenal. Haven't tried a KiSS globe though.

Can the viper attachment fit more concentrate compared to the regular VB skillet?
