I got my new unit. Thank the based gods and S&B the wear and tears kits gonna come in real handy

EDIT; as others have said the charger has changed and I got light blue rings and a additional booklet I didn't get with the original box ahaha.

Wow just loaded a bowl set it at 180C and on the first unit I had was nowhere the same. This replacement is just insane.

Could you please elaborate, is there better flavour or increased vapour production? Info would be nice as I'm pulling the trigger to buy one any minute now :D

Hey, what's up my fellow FC'ers? I pulled the trigger on this bad boy yesterday, and it's on the FedEx truck for delivery right now! I hope I get the newest version that @nigleong is talking about too!! This vape sounds like a beast for a portable!! I'm looking forward to putting it to the test!! ;-)

I've had my mighty just a few weeks, I purchased from S&B direct and my serial number is 7866, so fairly low. But it works fine, and it came with blue o rings. My cooling unit goes on very easy, and clicks into the fit smoothly. Ive used mine every day since i got it and average 5-6 bowls per day. I'm pretty sure the new units will be fine.

Yea, I figure that too. I ordered directly from S&B too, so I'm sure they send the most current ones. At least, I would hope so. Well, I'll know how good it works soon enough!!

This one is 10XXX

my first unit was 16XX

@xhexk

Both! my first unit was not the same. The vapour production at 180C didn't really produce too much vapour or have much of a taste at that temp for me.
You should buy one its truly an investment but if you do get a wear and tear kit

@adam_baumm

I not sure if anything is different in fuctionality it all seems the same though out but everything seem more responsive and not showing the same issues with desired temps.

CU sits the same nothing speical about that or anything has changed in that it has that brand new snap when I put it on ahah

I was checking the CU for you and I just noticed that the "Mighty" logo on the CU has the S&B "logo" engraved into it

Glad to hear. I have the 1742 and need to get it repaired. I never noticed anything wrong with vapor production, but if this improves that in any way, this will be a beast (actually still is on full batteries)

How many hrs were on your first unit?? it be your lower screen may have been clogged? I don't even own a mighty lol, but I do own a crafty. I received it about 3 weeks ago, serial number 12xxx, and have about 13 hrs to date. I think I may notice a slight restriction now that wasn't there before. It could just be me picking because I am honestly stoned after a session, but I have read on this forum that models with more use (probably around 50 hrs) the owners have cleaned the lower screen and noticed improvement. Just wondering if that may be the difference that you notice?[/QUOTE]

Anyone else have trouble ordering from dhgate? I spent an hour trying but can't get past the place your order page

Edit, I got through and ordered two water pieces. Fc-187 and fc-711 but it's a very clunky web site.

Shredder. Did you just slay a full bowl. Hehe. Just buggin. Hope you can get an answer...

Funny Adam! Yes I did, but after I placed an order.

I could never get past the "place your order" page. Then I had to wait like 15 minutes to chat with reps, then got knocked off. Very frustrating, maybe the most trouble I ever had from a web order. Hope it's worth it, lol. Oops, just got a fraud alert on my credit card, man, what a day!

I also ordered the silicone adapters from Rachett. That order went much smother, nice site.

I got a fraud warning and had to call my bank to authorize a charge to DHGate. If you think the buying process is difficult just wait until you have to do a return. It took me months to get a refund from DHGate. Their system is terrible.

Some more stuff I've noticed from 16XX vs the 10XXX

the vibration seems to be much stronger and feels a bit longer. As for the cleaning the bottom screen, I've never did that to my first mighty (too scared and didnt want to scratch) so that could be part of it but from what I can recall it was more or less doing the same at 180C setting from day one. There def seems to have been an improvement overall. My 1600 model had issues getting to my desired temp after it has 3 or less bars while my 10000 model is consistent except when its on the last bar of battery.

I'm loving it, this could be a placebo effect and I'm just getting these ideas from what I want to remember but I see/taste the improvement

If there's any questions feel free to ask if there's anything concerning. As for the moment i gotta charge my mighty and gonna smoke a J

Also testing new methods of vaping shatter without getting the bowl res'd up so what i have for the moment is 2/3 of the liquid pad + a light topping of herbs + a thin flatten amount of shatter. This will taste good even if i make a mess LOL

Taking the bottom screen out for cleaning is not all that hard. I used a sharp pick to work a edge of the screen up. I think a large heavy duty safety pin would work as well.

Mine got dirty after a few sessions of dry ice hash. It also had some dark powdery stuff under the screen. But a few minutes in alcohol the screen cleaned up nice. I packed the cleaned screen into the bowl bottom with the packing tool.

I did this while cleaning the cooling unit, and together it took about ten minutes, and after, it looked, and hit like new.

To add to that, if the screen is too bent up to fit back in, put the screen on a hard metallic surface and flaten it with a quarter, works like a charm!

Serial #398 purchased from S&B last November reporting in.

The Mighty has been the daily driver since the day of purchase with my 2009 Volcano Classic & Pax not seeing the light of day. Typical sessions, half packed bowl with liquid pad, start at 160c (320f) followed by 175c (347f), then 185c (365), 195c (383c) for six pulls or so each temp. Sometimes I take it to maximum, but tend not to with the view to hopefully create more potent ABV. I always make coconut capsules with the slow cooker method which always blow my socks off.

Only little issues I have is one of the very thin fins below the cooling unit has broken away which I can't say bothers me too much. All in all i'm hugely impressed.

I have lots of resin on my walls, i tried qtip with iso after session, took some off but not all and now a second small piece of plastic broke off the top of the unit, But look the bottom of the oven is clean. Hits great.

Also my mighty reeks, my wife has a super nose and she can smell it when its cased up and in a drawer.

Very happy as first day with this mighty, but gonna grab a pax2 for a backup.
