Am curious to experience the "new improved air flow" as my solo is an older model from before they made the charge/use change.
Not that I have a problem with the original's draw resistance tbh.

If you don't have a problem with the airflow on the older model Solo, you will love the Air. I find it extremely easy to manipulate airflow by just lifting the stem off of the bottom slightly, however it seems that I keep on coming back to the plastic tip stems. I'm finding a harder draw with my Solo stems, maybe because they fit so snug.

Even after tonnes of uses, I still can't get ANY stems to fit when the unit is cold! Once it heats up a bit it's a non-issue though.

I recommend a 2014 edition Fenix PD35.... Pairs with the Air excellently, also uses 1X 18650 bat, and hits 960 lumen or 1000lm with 2 CR123s... A great light.....

Wait.... What are we talking about here again???

+1 in favor of the PD35 and Air combo. :D

Damn, that's a awesome holder. :clap:Big fan of the Villains, the one I use for the PD35 is the GITD Krytonite. Too bad I can't add one to the Air.

We may know each other then, but I'm under the same name if it's the site I'm thinking about. :D

Thanks man!

And Yessir, thats the place im referring to!! Im under a similar but a little different name there. Actually the villain holder for the stir tool is how i came up with my screen name for here, i was trying to pick a screen name.. And i always use "wood" as i love wood, but i seen the villain holder next to my EQ and went with woodvillain LOL

I am thinking of buying this one too, however i wonder what is the taste like? I have owned the PnP and i thought the taste was horrible with that one (even with the glass MP). I already own the Extreme Q so i am pretty sure the Arizer Air is also superb in quality, but i dont want a very harsh vape like the PnP.

The taste is great. I have the EQ as well, if you like the taste with the EQ you will like the taste with the Air im sure.

Lots of stem options too, so if the 60-70mm stems are too harsh/hot for you, you can try one of the PVHES. The vortex is a tad over 5" and has thicker glass and from what i hear this makes a great tasting smooth hit.

I have a vortex, just havent had the chance to try it out yet. However i have tried a couple other PV stems and the long ones really do offer a very cool hit.

I say jump on the Air bud, (HA remember that movie??) Great prices for them these days. I paid the full 260 for mine and i still think its worth every dollar.

Who knew it really is a small world. :hmm:

Now you got me wondering if Digger could do a full size Villain stem stand. :o Seems the Vortex was just the first of many accessories I want to try. Can't wait to get my vase shaped drip tip stem from Joda Glass. Hoping to add a little more stealth when out and about. :ninja:

OK. I am confused! is a "villain" a flash light, or a holder?

Also, I am flabbergasted that someone actually paid MSRP for their AA ( and actually have the balls to say
it ).
Not to get off topic, the Villains are the skulls beads if you would call them beads.

I saw an Air in a Vape shop in Brooklyn over the weekend( wasn't there last week) and was floored the guy wanted $275 for it unless I was paying cash....

After being a smoker for over 25 years I did a bit of research n finally settled on getting an arizer air to see what this vaping lark was all about . I've got say i'm pretty impressed. Mine came with only one plastic tipped mouthpiece and one all glass one . Even came with X2 caps to fit on the end ofpre loaded tubes . I found the green setting suited me best, finished off with the red one . I can honestly say I don't think I've been that shit faced for a long time ! Great piece of kit . Looking forward to getting some extra bits of glass including a bubbler n some batteries to last weekend camping trips. Can't wait to be reunited with it when I finish work at 10 tonight ;) it was reading these threads that finally made me get one so thanks everybody !

Yea... unfortunately i ordered my AA before reading through this thread and realizing i could of saved a chunk of money going through PIU and using the coupon code. It would of been nice to get it cheaper, but im happy with it... so its no biggie to me!!

Its kind of funny though when looking at my AA sitting next to the EQ... I paid 160 for the EQ and 260 for the AA... Seems like that should be reversed LOL :D

Well... Off to the post office i go, time to say goodbye to a few stems to say hello to me bubbla

2K$/ month, for an apartment, Brooklyn I am told is gentrified.

At least they are up to date, if they have the AA in the LHS...
Not too gentrified but getting there. Looking on moving to Brooklyn but for way less than $2k a month.

Vase shaped stem from Joda??? Uh... More info PALEASEEE :D

I was thinking about added stealth and with e-cig vapes being so popular( popular enough to ban them in most public areas in NYC) I thought "what if the stem looked like a drip tip?" And after seeing the work at Joda Glass, one thing lead to another. :worms::D

Sorry you got sucked into the hype, you're right of course, "lark" describes it, no doubt a passing fad. So it won't be a total loss I'll give you $20 for that worthless vape, PM me and I'll tell you where to send it......

On a serious note (hang in there, this won't take long......) be sure to explore different temperatures and techniques before you rush off to buy fancy stems (the stock ones do a great job). Eventually you might want to consider a small water tool as well. This is one of my favorites for Air, there are other nice ones for modest costs. You can use the plastic top stem directly in 14mm GonG connectors.

Oh, yeah, welcome to to forum, congrats on the Air choice.

(Serious mode off.....)

Must be going blind. Can't see that bubbler.....

@Snaplok did you mill those beauty-full MPs? If so, can you make some for the AA, would like to buy at least one!

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Hey guys,

now I'm into the Air gang too :D

Just read something quite interesting somewhere else:

On the subject of concentrates after several units over the years this and the solo and the best vaporizers for concentrate by a country mile… all you need to do is put a gauze inside the glass stem, then the concentrate and then a wire wool pad shaped so it snugly fits and stays in therefore sandwiching it and preventing it from falling in the bowl – I cut up a Volcano Liquid Pad Set which is idea for air flow x

Source:
http://vaporblog.org/blog/vaporizer-reviews/arizer-air-review/

Have you guys experienced the same? Wonder if its only stainless steel wool you can get from a hardware store? Has any1 info on the pad sizes? Just visited Bickel&Storz Website and the got different pads... but couldn't get the specs for the volcano pad, since they don't sell it alone. Only 4x for crafty/mighty and 2x for easy vape (30 mm dia)... Wonder which ones would fit best in the Air??

Happy vaping! :)

Lol no I wish, those are the examples I sent to Joda Glass to see if they would duplicate well as an Air/ Solo stem. The first 5 vase shape ones on the top row left hand I hoping would add to the Air's ninja like qualities.
