It was alright for most, rather enjoyable as a fan. About what you'd expect with a higher budget. Good to see they are still able to add twists and different settings for the seasons even though they aren't giving much time for how much work they do around TPB.

I want more it will be interesting on the next movie or season with this odd ending.

30 for 30: i hate christian laettner (2015)

perception can be far from reality. this one is worth a watch even if not into sports.

The Great Train Robbery. Done by the same people who did Broadchurch.

True Story of a train Robbery in England. And like all British stuff, they do such an amazing job with the details of the period.

Thanks for the Daredevil info! We had just assumed another mess :).

Kid Cannabis might get another watch tonight... Depends on what's in the 'ready use' locker...

You'll especially love it if you've read the comics. Pulls heavily from the most important Daredevil comics runs - Wally Wood, Frank Miller, Brian Michael Bendis, Romita sr and jr. It's the most accurate comic book adaptation I've ever seen, and IMHO easily the best tv or movie Marvel (or DC) have done. And I've been collecting comics for almost 40 years.

I read reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (search Netflix and certified fresh and you get a list of good movies) and got turned on to these:

The Babadook - good horror movie with a deeper meaning. No sadistic over the top gore.

Short Term 12 - this was just good. It's an intimate indie drama movie about a couple that works at a home for troubled teens who have been removed from their parents homes. Universally acclaimed (as in no bad reviews for this one).

chef's table (2015) is worth a look, its an interesting view of a few individuals who have refined their culinary skills to the point that their self is materialized in their work.

unseen mysteries of the world (2013) is a short doc that slows down the fast, speeds up the slow, zooms in the small and zooms out the big (hello alice)...its quite the experience to visualize different perspectives of time and space and this one does a great job of showing us the normal everyday world as such.

I watched 3 flicks on Netflix this weekend, pretty good flicks across the board:

American Psycho - Overhyped IMO but I still very much enjoyed it. Watched it late and was pretty inebriated too, but he didn't do it? Or he's just so forgettable and his grandoise murders (and comparative sense of self worth) aren't quite that? Idk. Probably worth a rewatch for me.

American Beauty - LOL was just on an American kick. I very much enjoyed this movie, pretty funny and some thoughtful stuff.

Fresh - This was...good but different? It's like Boyz in the Hood but with a younger kid? It was entertaining but not amazing throughout....that being said, the final half hour to 45 minutes is very very good.

Edit: tried watching Fruitvale Station, couldn't really digest it. It was decent though for the 50 minutes I watched, though obviously so many artistic licenses were used in the "true" story of his last day, idk....it almost felt tacky? That's not the right word, but like it was trying too hard. I will get around to finishing it though.

I tried to watch Zombeavers last night. I almost made it all the way through.

Today is going to be Peter Dinklage day for me - Knights of Badassdom, The Station Agent and attempting The Angriest Man in Brooklyn if there's time.
