Soo I have been lurking and posting on other threads ambitiously about a back up and other's suggestions. I realize I was somewhat wrong in doing so as I probably should have started my own thread for this sooner than later. Here it goes.....

First post thread iv ever started here btw....

I have looked at the pax extensively before I got my Haze. I realize I have reached a point where I really could use a backup vape. I would more than love other people's input and suggestions as well as experiences with those suggestions. It is a portable vape I am looking for, pocket sized ideally and stealthy.

I noticed the price on the pax dropped because of the pax 2 that will be launching sooner than later. While there are many reasons to purchase it with its long standing reputation there are some cons to it that hold me from purchasing it (doesn't mean I am still not considering it so feel free to "sell it to me"). Thus why I ask for other alternatives, so let me shoot some cafeterias for the public to help narrow down any possible suggestions.

1) My budget reflects quality but will be lower than the Haze; $200 and I would be inclined to do maybe 30 bucks more if truly worth buying.

2) Stealth is a must and I appreciate a nice aesthetic appeal kinda like the haze ascent, pax, firefly etc.

3) Vapor production and something that is easy to pack the more medicated you get :p

4) Holds the potential to control oder AFTER use... The haze for instance as some may or may not know can minimize flower oder after use if using the cans unlike the screens. I mean this because if I were to go about with it by my side I don't want it stinking me up or my bag ya feel me?

5) Customer service capabilities should sh*t hit the fan, I want to know I have quality support.

6) Finally ease of use and learning curves are the least of my concerns but it is something I do look for. In other words how does the particular vape like to be packed vs others and how to pull from it.

Thank you all very much in advance for everything and all the support and direction to include your time.
I look forward to all the replies!

So it sounds like are you looking for a portable?

If you are I would suggest the Arizer Air portable vape. It's better flavor than the old Pax. I haven't tried the new Pax. The Air is stealth if you use the short mouthpiece. It can be used while charging. It's very easily attached to various water tools. I have used wax sandwiched inside cannabis with success. I have also tried the wax inside cotton with the Air and it worked just fine.

The price is between $200 and $250 but I have seen it cheaper. Check out Puffitup.

Puffitup is an online vaporizer store and the puffit vaporizer is the inhaler one you're thinking about

I am also currently in the market for a new vape. I was considering the solo, air, or haze. If you're interested in the air it's $170 on puffitup right now I think and as for the solo (if you're interested) you can hit up Randy at puffitup and he will price match the $130 advertised on other sites which I think is a pretty sweet dealio

The best advice I could give being a newbie myself. Do a lot of reading and then read it again. What I've noticed people love helping people but if you don't show a little effort why should they do all the research for you. Also 20,000 members that's 20,000 different styles, habbits, medical, non medical. No body knows u and your style and you're needs more than u.
Do a lot of research ask questions FC will have u on the right vape in no time.
Vapman, any log not portable really can't gowrong with solo
The arizer air more stealth,Lotus ,hammer ,Imag+,the list goes on and on do you're research don't be in a hurry.HaHa VAS isn't going anywhere. Lol

Thank you for the educating me on a slight misunderstanding.

You opened my eyes to the Air. That discount really helped me lean towards it especially after looking into more. It would save me more money compared to buying the pax at $199! :o Arizer has always kind of been there when I was hunting for my first vape. I always found myself looking at the solo because their vapes were aparantly of very hight standing quality, but I was never truly sold simply because it was so bulky and hard to transit from one place to another.

I have been looking around for some time now but I figured I would ask the community for their personal preferences/suggestions to help "open my mind" to other possibilities (hence why I started this thread). On a different note, thank YOU for your suggestions as well :), I will start searching up those as well!

The Solo isn't really that big IMO as I can easily carry it in the back pocket of my levi's, reading some posts on line I thought it was quite a bit bigger then it actually is.

Stealthy? Don't think so.

Good point except that total membership on any forum includes a lot of people who are long gone, never to return, and quite a few never made a post. Active members here are likely to be 10% of the total, or less.

OTOH I don't own any pants that would hold the Solo in walk around mode.

It's a good place to start, but rarely a good final destination unless you've already narrowed down the candidates.

I love the Solo personally, and the AIR looks like an upgrade everywhere except battery life and pass thru, and hot-swapping cure those for me. If you live in the US it may save some money buying from planetvape in Canada, I think the AIR is about $155usd there.. Also there was a Solo for $60 in Classified here this AM...

Yeah, I wouldn't say carrying in my back pocket is great for a day in the woods or wandering wallyworld but in "transit" to and fro it works in an 'I ain't gonna sit down much' kind of way. Just walking a block or two to someone else's home or garden for a shared session i don't even need to wear a belt.

It has certainly been a phenomenal place to start. Iv been swapping between threads based upon the suggestions you guys have shot at me so far :) but there is sooo much to cover! All day I have been looking at he Air thus far. I really don't know how I would manage a solo out in public.

To give you guys a perspective of my situations; I am a Miami resident who studies and spends the majority of my time in school. So I am out in public and between study sessions I throw myself in an isolated part of campus and vape up to relax before continuing my studies at the library (you know, like a regular "smoke break"). As many might know the east coast as far as MJ politics is somewhat of a conservative demographic so it is still "frowned upon" and highly illegal, hence why I really emphasize stealth and oder when I am out and about. I get that oder WILL be there regardless of what you but with the haze and the cans I can manage that without worry when I store it and not in use. Battery life so it could last me throughout the day should my current vape be under maintenance or anything of that sort if you get what I am saying.

In a way I guess I am asking the community for their input so that I can narrow down my research on a top 3 (like I make all my decisions in life LOL, cause this guy right here likes options ;)<----------) and make a decision, cause like I said... the time has come! xD

I want to take the time once more to thank all of you guys for your time and wisdom in my puny thread :) much love.

I believe the vapman is stealthy, just the torch makes some quiet noise. Heating can be done a lot less noticeably then pulling a hit from a vape.

I now make sure that I have at least one vape in the house that doesn't need electricity, so thats what Vapman is. I also have a couple of battery backpacks, cause you just know the power will go out at the worst time... so we're good...

So I guess I'm saying is make sure you are covered for emergencies, cause no power light when you expect one can be catastrophic! ;)

My Inhalater 05 was a stealthy beast. A bit bigger than a pen, so easily carryable. The S model heats and is ready to draw in under 30 seconds. A battery usually lasted a day or two, plus they are user replaceable. Been waiting for the 06 has been like waiting for the Grasshopper tho...
