Ego USB battery eliminator

Not sure, but expect a long delivery time(Weeks sometimes) from that place, it has no battery so it should be safe plugged into a computer, seems to have protection in it going by the forums.

This looks interesting... It says it goes up to 4.8v AND can be plugged into your computer. I'm guessing a laptop would do if plugged in? It's cheap enough to pull the trigger and ships pretty damn fast. I would get if people approve it for car use via usb outlet through cigerette insert.

Only drawback I saw was it doesn't work well with low power USB ports (less than 2Amps), so some USB chargers might not put out enough juice.

Computers and laptops put out +5v @ 2 amps.

just hope you guys remember this is for standard ecig carts and might not power the power hungry carts like sub ohms. You dont want to fry your lap top or computer.

As long as it's putting out the right voltage and olms it should be fine, right?

I wasn't planning on using it on a computer but a jump pack or a cigarette /wall wart.

I use O-pen oil carts from my dispensary as well as my Puffco pen coils for wax.

This adapter has 4 settings where the Puffco only has 3.

It's costing me $7 to try it out so even if it's not the next best thing I'm not bankrupting myself either.

That is the standard USB protocol as far as I am aware.

Do you have other more accurate information you wish to add?

I wasn't sure if I was missing something. A quick google search should clear it up for you. USB protocol is definitely not 2A. Its 5V @.5A

USB "Charging" protocol is up to 2amps. a lot of external chargers will handle the load. I wasn't going to use a computer so I should be OK.

I could always test it on a work computer. ...

You didnt say that and thats why I quoted you asking if you were sure. You said computer/laptop. Obviously a USB charger can have higher amperage

That (not enough current) will be the issue. Enough for some/most e-cigs, not enough for vapes typically.

And, no, that's not the real USB spec, under ONE AMP is the real number, often it's only half an amp:

You guys were right.

My 2amp charger won't power it with the Puffco coil either but my o-pen liquid carts work fine.

I'll use it for that so it wasn't a total waste and it wasn't expensive either.
