Can I get some recommendations from e-cigarette users

I have been vaping herb for a couple of years and am super happy with my Arizer Air.

Now some friends and I wanted to play around with some different DIY e-liquid blends and I would like to know what a good low-cost e-cigarette would be? It would be one that I could try out many new e-liquid creations, so it should have cheap refill carts or some sort of solution for potentially trying out a flavor and tossing it out or being able to clean it out.

For all the info you will ever need about the other kind of vaping, head over to e-cigarette-forum.com. Look for a local vapor bar/store for trying out flavors, they are opening up all over.

Thanks Kief, I did go to a local bar and had a great time but I am looking for a low-cost product to try my own recipes, they did not really carry anything like that. I already had a great private message that was helpful.

The best way to try out flavors is to purchase a dripping atomizer. Rebuildable would be best to change wicks, etc. But that isnt strictly necessary. An older style 510 dripping atty would be fine. A 510 atomizer would fit any number of cheaper ego or mod style batteries.

Good Luck!

Kazz can you give me the simple explanation of a dripper and how I would go about this with a 510?

I started e-cig back in 2008, I'd get a lot of free samples of juice... Some good , some terrible. If you put some of a sample into an atomizer and don't like the taste it is difficult if not impossible to clean it off and try another flavor on that atomizer. And if it doesn't taste good now you've ruined that atomizer.

I found that if you fold a piece of aluminum foil and put a few drop on it then heat it from the bottom and take a hit with a rolled dollar bill or a tube then you can get the flavor of the juice but not waist anything if you don't like it then you've only wasted a piece of foil.

It will look like your chasing the dragon / smoking heroin so close the curtains first... lol

You can buy rebuildable dripping atomizers now. The advantage is if you REALLY don't like the flavor, it is simple to pull out and replace the wick. So, no flavor carryover from one test to the next. The downside of this is you have to build your coil in the first place. Not hard, but there is a bit of a learning curve.

The easiest way would be to buy an old style dripping atomizer. A bit hard to find now, but Avid Vaper still carries them. This is the model I used when I started vaping:

http://www.avidvaper.com/lr510-low-resistance-bridgeless-1-5-ohm-atomizers-cisco-spec-sealed/

You just screw the atty onto your battery, (ego, etc.) drip a couple drops of juice inside, put on a drip tip and puff away. It will give you a good idea of the flavor. If you don't like it, put some drops of a new flavor in. You'll have a couple of puffs that "mingle" the flavors, but the new one will come through in a short while.

Hope this helps!

You can also get a cheapish Ultra Sonic Cleaner for jewelry and use it to clean clearos if you already have any spares Use it to clean the clearo's and buy a pack of 5 atomizer heads. Once those heads are spent you can rebuild most rather easily so you'll really only be buying wire in which case for your needs a spool for around 10$ would last quite a bit of time. Thats what I used to do before I got into RDA's when I was DIYing liquids. A clone RDA would be cheap and practical for your need to be honest. Even an RDA like an iGo-w series I had one for a long time now and it works great for basic use. If you dont like a flavor just pull the wick and rinse it off. Dry burn a few times and rewick for the next flavor.
