Just joined the air club. Wanted to give special thanks to @PuffItUp for helping me out, even though I am in the other side of the Ocean....

Titanium air, two extra spare batteries and charger received in very good and fast order, and a free for chamber grinder made the deal extra sweet...

Have my 18mm Pv Gong in it and I must say it works better then expected.

Now of to pair it with my Fc-187V2...gotta love this forum :-)

My unit generally turns red at around 4.5 sessions and I turn it off. I have 2 batteries, same mileage, using PV GonG mouthpiece, not stock glass.

2 sessions at green battery light, 1 white, 1 orange, and mostly 2 on red.

See if you can find a low pro 18-14mm reducer. Will be a lot more flush on your bong...

I believe some of them were recently posted in the cheap glass thread

I got one of my Vortex stems in, came with some Cheetos puffs and some All Green SOUR DIESEL lip balm!!

Gunna be a few more days before i can try this stem out, but it looks cool!

Now it looks like another one is being delivered tomorrow. Out of the 2 stems i had a buddy in Canada send me i thought both would be seized but i guess one made it through just fine... Unfortunately its also a vortex, the shorty turbo is the one seized i believe.

The one i got in today did come straight from Planetvape.

Since I couldn't wait for the air to charge I wanted to use it while plugged in, I guess the battery was too dead for it to heat up, I thought it had pass by charging?

I get 4.5 sessions on 1 battery. I have a unit that doesn't have a battery meter. Sometimes it's hard to remember how many sessions I have left.:hmm:

I am looking forward to getting some of the caps. I had some but they are little and easily lost. I bought six, I probably should have bought ten. They should arrive on Monday

This portable pairs really well with my WT.:leaf::peace:

The Air can be charged and used at the same time if the battery isn't too low.

I love the Planet Vape Vortex. They just sent me a new one in the mail bc my other had a small chip in it. Great customer service and the stem imo is amazing. I use a almost fine grind but not to fine , pack it and tamp it slightly and i get huge clouds and cool air hits through my entire session. it is becoming 1 of my favorite stems. I only wish it was a bit shorter so i can take it out with me.

  • PlanetVape.ca (GTA) They are sponsors on FC they have reducers and adapters and you can call and ask them questions. A very good online vape shop to deal with.

Pv just must not like me then lol. They seem to not want to respond to me anymore lol. the reaponse time was great the first day, They said they'd custom make me a few glass pieces and I asked for prices and whatnot, took days and multiple messages to get a response, when I wanted move forward with the transaction they stopped responding again lol. I'm ordering multiple stems for 3airs so its a hefty order. I been emailing them since 3/16 and been trying to move forward with the purchase since 3/18. Even pm'd them here on fc twice with no response.

Just sent my third email to them, we'll see what happens. Kinda sucks when the only manufacturer dont answer lol.

Technically it does, although it uses more power more quickly than it charges. If its totally dead leave for around 15 minutes and that will probably be enough :)

I've never had a specialty item made for me by PV. I've ordered several pieces over the last year and a half and had no problems. They have a phone number on their website. Try giving them a call. Here is their #1-855-773-7719. You will have to wait until tomorrow. They are closed right now.

I LOVE this lip balm that PV included... Im thinking maybe the intention for it is to lube the stems???

I dunno... But it smells and taste great, and works on my lips well too.

Also my vortex fits excellently, its nice and secure without being overly tight... i can even put it in cold without forcing.

Have you tried to contact PlanetVape via their thread? It is a sub-thread on the thread called Sponsoring retailers.

First off, howdy, welcome to the Forum. Great choice with the Air, but I guess you've figured that out already.......

On the WT front, how about:
0UpeNOl.jpg

It's a little smaller than the Air itself, and is discussed here:

Best wishes,

Thanks for the welcome and the info. My biggest worry is that something directly over the Air will leak by accident, it's the only thing keeping me from getting the F-Bomb from Planetvape. I've noticed the irritation started when I started using the Air more frequently( just gave up cigarettes cold turkey a month ago) and it's more so with the 60mm and 70mm stems but I feel like I might be vaping wrong if there is such a thing. :bang:

The lip balm, if I am correct, can be used in several ways...

On your lips hihi
as a grease for your glass on glass joints
as grinder grease, making your grinder spin more freely and even preventing build up of particals...?

I would be careful when using it as grinder grease, and only apply just a little touch to the outside rim of your grinder in order for the balm not to be able to get into contact with the material you want to grind.

just my two cents, please let us know what PV has to say about it...

Back on topic, have been enjoying my air, second day now, and I do notice a difference between this and my solo(M1D). Sightly improved airflow in my case, and it does seem like flavors seem to last a bit longer. Currently using it dry with PV GonG as mouthpiece, and near the end of the session bump it up to red and take final hit trough my bong...ABV is very well spend, happy with this new discreet little toy...

Anything is possible, but while the FBomb (and similar) can definitely spill, the one I suggested cannont. Did you read the discussion about it? You can put it in your pocket, turn it over or on it's side, and no leaks. I store mine in a small case, full and ready to go. It even evaporates slowly.

One of the reasons I suggested it..........

Did I just kill my battery? Went to charge my air last night but zonked out and had it charge for about 10 hours.

I woke up late for work and unplugged it. Before I did I noticed that even though the unit was plugged in the charge indicator was blank and no lights on.

I plugged it back in and got a slow, steady green light so I hopped in my car and started my hour long journey to work.

About 15 minutes in I started a session and got a few minutes into it before a blinking red /pink battery light came in and the unit stopped heating.

I don't have the charger on hand and can't test it until tonight. I actually have two more batteries and the wall charger coming but they won't be here until next week.

That should not significantly harm the battery. At most a minor 'hit' on capacity/lifetime. Nothing fatal.

From the sounds of it, you didn't really recharge it. I suspect you'll have a normal (two plus hour) charging session this evening.

Good luck.

I have 3 batteries. On 1 of them i fully charge and it shows yellow. Next session shows green (all back to normal) does this quite regular but not all the time.

Battery fine other than that

I think it would be extremely helpful if links to all the "best" accessories were on the first page... Like the bubbler, dome screens, stems etc. Could even put a hotlink to the post where its discussed in the most depth or something....

Now that i type that out I vaguely remember reading something about a "best of" post or thread ??? Maybe not.

Since battery capacity limits the Air to 4 full sessions I wonder if a charge would produce 4 full sessions @ 12 minutes also? If so an algorithm change might be in order. OTOH the Air seems to bake the herb as thoroughly in 10 minutes as the Solo does in 12. Which validates my premise that heat in more condensed on the Air.
