I'm also still waiting. My package unfortunately had a little typo in my address and therefore the delivery failed and returned.
Yesterday, it finally made it back to vapefied so he could fix the typo and send it again. So I¨m finally expecting it next week.
I wish you guys yours will also come soon.

Keep the wait peacefull as you are bound to have en EVO in your hand and that will be tremendous. I did not manage to follow this trail. The faith almost gone...and one day i decided to go for a refund the exact day the pallet hit the UK reseller, i received the IGG package very shortly after that.

One VXN was missing they shipped a pack of 2 in a bliss. the EVO is my first VXL vape ever.

i be happy customer of VXL!!!

My wait is over. Yay!

So here are some firt impressions:

On the outside, the unit looks the same... ...oh and yes, there is finally a temperature knob! :D
The former EVO arrived without one, so I had to put a knob from the old broken OG cloud on it. I've had only one broken cloud so i could get another one.

Next, I've given it a visual inspection:
-I've heard some rumors about the bamboo restrictions beign slightly remade - moved up higher. That is true, I think the last restriction has been moved up a lot, not like the OG, but about halfway. the lower ones seem to be in the same places as before.
-The bamboo appear to have slightly red tint to it under ceratins angles in dark, I don't know if thats a glass tint, reflected light from somewhere, color persistence, or my eyes tricking me, but I swear I can see some red in it sometimes.
-I can hear something tiny rattling inside when I shake the unit. This isn't happening with the old EVO. I hope it's not bad as I can't even look inside. It sound like some kind of large particle, if it is a screw then it's a really tiny one. And it's not the vent screen, I've tried fixing it in place and it didn't help.

I could also give some impression on the heat shield. I think it is slightly better as an insulant than my wristband mumification, and it can slide quite easily compared to wristbands. This bigger one will not slip as it's held by the power cord.
But I've put one wristband under it op the top anyway to enhance the grip.

Okay, that was all i could analyze before turning it on.
After turning it on I could see few more differenced to my old EVO:

-The old EVO flashed a quick green impulze and then went to red (if it's not on temp) when it turned on.
-The new one stays green for about half a second before it goes red (if it's not on temp).

-Right now the red/green light seems slightly brighter and better distributed on the new one. I'll see how it changes with age.

-First I thought that PWM red-green transistion is not there anymore, but after some more playing with it I could see it. It's just a lot sharper, when the temp goes over the transiotion fast enough, it's instantaneous.

-This one could be annoying: I've let the unit heat soak nicely and now everytime i turn it off I need to wait a minute or two before I can turn it on again. It would give me fast blinking green error code, which probably signals overheat protection. I've heard this new protection is very sensitive and can do this. It's just puzzling me why it only happens after a restart and not before. Well I should be thankful or otherwise the unit would be constantly shutting itself off :D
I think it's just programmed like that, so you can't turn the unit on when so hot. So far I think this happens on restarts above 1:30.

So this is everything i can say about it right now before the first hit. I'll update soon about how it vapes.

I want to thank vapefiend for resolving the delivery issue and also for adding a bonus pack of ELBs and Arizer caps free of charge. Thank you!

Oh yes and my old glitching EVO is still alive! It made it! A really long time for a EVO prone to overheating to survive. Now there are two weapons of mass extraction and the old one could be a backup.

Edit:
For the first try I wanted the best taste possible, I took one of these new ELBs.
They look sooo new. I think no cleaning can get used ELB's color back to this brand new silver.
I loaded it with a special tasty stash and tried a hard pull on dial 3 oclock. Man it was probably the tastiest hit ever. Second hit was very weak and the chunky ABV very nicely brown.
Then I've tried a regular bowl with a regular stash and it vaped like the old one.
I tried different pull speeds to find any differences in vapor output, I think it's slighthly better. The vapor output feels even slightly more consistent on variable pulling speeds.
The old one was a little hotter when pulling slowly. I can't tell on the new one so far.

So I think it vapes even a little better than the old one, and most importantly...
...I couldn't get it to glitch and go crazy so far. I tried everything I knew so far to induce glitches and it's holding it's sanity really well. I think it's been on about 2 hours now, I wonder if auto shutoff timer kicks in, the old ones didn't have any funtional shutoff timer and could go forever insane or not.

...lol, just as I was typing this I saw some red. The unit was showing both red and green together. And the heater probably went off. I quickly restarted and found the temperature sligthly below the previous spot. Was this the timer or a glitch? The old one is doing this randomly everyday. I'll run it again and see what happens next time.

One more thing, this one whistles less. Yes, every cloud whistles differently. And every whistle is only at a very thin interval of speed, but and different speeds. my OG had many weak whistles at many speeds, the old EVO whistled very loud at slow and fast speed and the new one whistles weakly only on very particular medium speed.
A picture is worth thousand words, this is how I would compare whistles of all the clouds a could try:

So after almost 1 day here are some conslusions so far:

I can say it got better in every way.
The build quality is perfect compared to the old one.
Ilike the new bamboo, it's like a frankenbamboo of 75% original EVO and 25% original cloud and i think it combines the best of both worlds.
I like less whistling, but i believe that's not a general improvement, just some luck.
Overall it's much less glitchy, but sadly it seems not completely glitch-free.
Good thing is I've never observed any glitch that would make it show solid red or green so far, which are the dangerous ones.
I've got red and green together about 3 times, always happening randomly (not timed) shutting off the heater like the old one.
And then there is that blinking green which i think is some overheat exception.
If its fail safe, it should protect the unit even when it can false alarm on long heats or restarts on high temps.
The heat shield is also good, more comfortable than wristbands and i think it begins to even look cooler to me as time goes.

Old EVO glitches:

1. Red or green solid
Heater: random (off, thermostat or full power)
When: Randomly, increased chance when heating up or touching the dial
Controlled: Nope, it can fucking cook your unit

2. Red and green solid
Heater: off
When: Randomly
Controlled: ? (the heater always went off, could be a controlled exception state, it's not blinking so i can't tell if the unit knows what its doing)

4. No light
Heater: off
When: Randomly, mostly on start
Controlled: ? (the whole unit seems to be off)

3. Blinking red
Heater: off
When: Randomly, mostly on start
Controlled: Yes (clearly looks like some exception state, the heater is always off)

New EVO glitches:

1. Blinking green
Heater: off
When: Randomly when its on too long or on start with temps above 1 oclock
Controlled: Yes (seems to be an exception state from oversensitive overheating protection)

2. Red and green solid
-same as old Evo

That's all I got so far. The old one could also be very easily glitched out by moving the dial on the fence between red and green, the new one seems very good at holding its sanity.

Thanks for the reports seek. Shame about the glitches.

I run my cloud+ with a timer that turns it off and on every hour to keep it hot and automatically on when i need it. I would like the option of sometimes using the evo like that. Is that method going to be unsuccessful with the new Evo glitches? Sounds like I may find the heater off randomly. Though the restart from the timer may turn it on again but the wait time you were experiencing before a restart may stop the timer from working. What would you say Seek?

My original meltdown evo had the rattle as well, bit of a let down for a "high end" device. Fingers crossed my replacement doesn't.

If I restart the unit quickly on high temp, i get blinking green. Always. I need to wait until it cools down to 1:30 before i can turn it on again.
So it's best to keep it on and restart only when shutoff timer or a glitch kicks in.

I've been restarting the old EVO frequently, because you could never be sure if the solid green meant ready or solid red that's its not yet there.
I've never caught a solid color on the new one that was frozen like this.
So when I see green on the new one I trust it that it's on temp and when it's red I trust it that its not continuing over the spot into fiery death.
So I just don't restart the new one when "it ain't broken" just to be sure like the old one. The restart would just make me wait...

Every glitch so far has been "controlled". In a way you could immediatelly tell from the LEDs that's it's not ready and the heater went off.

Of course it will need a lot more time. I could run it for just a few hours so far...

edit: I also noticed that the new one never goes into any uncontrolled glitch on start. The old one had a change about 1 in 15 that it would go into any of it's 4 glitches randomly on start. The new one starts right everytime (if the heat safety doesn't kick in)

Available at Australian Vaporizers !!!

Interesting. Because despite confirming my address with them again recently, and being a Fanatic perk, I haven't heard a thing from VXL by email or otherwise. You'd think they'd be falling over themselves to let us know it's ready if it is, after all this time. :/

I hope they're not putting new units on sale before they've filled all the orders made over a year ago (by supplying safe and functional units). It'd be pretty insulting to prioritise new sales considering those unfilled orders are the orders that made the product possible in the first place, by financing initial production.

That's a surprise they are up for sale before we have received any confirmation or delivery updates for the Igg customers. Those evos are showing as in stock and can be added to your cart, and everything I have bought from Aus vapes has been same day or next business day dispatch.

I'm kind of expecting an update Next business day after easter. Or better yet but unlikely, a surprise delivery confirmation. Frustrating always being left in the dark.

Yeah the in-stock email I got yesterday didn't mention the IGG replacement, have emailed back but not expecting a reply till next week.

I paid in full well over a year ago, just like all the other IGG international customers, so if someone that hasn't even ordered yet is able to get a working unit in their hands before I/we can, just... fuck.

Further evidence that any market outside the US is at best an afterthought to VXL. Very disappointed. :/

I've noticed this isn't the first time Australian Vaporizers have released official info about the Vapexhale before Vapexhale themselves XD.

Message: Hello, I am one of the Vapexhale Indiegogo customer's, We have been told that Australian Vaporizers will be distributing the Evo's to us. Is that process all automatic or do I need to do something? Is it possible to get an eta on the processing and delivery of the Evo's?

Hi Teedub,
I am waiting to hear from VapeXhale. I will let you know once I have an update.

Can anyone remember what the Int. IGG contributors were promised as compensation for this whole fiasco? It was so long ago, I can't remember or work out what search terms I need to use to find it and I've been trying not to follow it all too closely as its been too depressing!

I think it was just that heat sleeve and maybe a hydrastand if you got a glass perk? The usual stuff you should get anyway.

Yeah I didn't order a hydratube (IGG supporter here) and my UK evo came with the heat sleeve and a hydrastand. I got a mouthpiece with my dodgy 'might burn your house down' evo but didn't get one with the fully functioning one.
