I don't know if it's indica or sativa but I've smoked this weed before getting the Mighty and it was alright :/

Thank you both of you for you concern, I hope I will be able to use it normaly, but I don't know how.
Have you tried filtering thru water? Ratchett sells a silicone adapter for bubblers. Maybe this will ease some of your chest problems. There is also a topic about anxiety after vaporizing in the vaporization discussion forum.

Are you trying to vape as much as you would smoke? The mighty is an ass-kicker and master of conservation...
that being said, how much are you putting in, and at what temp? Maybe less at lower temps is key for your condition...but I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the internet. :myday:

If your not a systematic water drinker, hydration does seem plausible. I have been using the mighty almost exclusively for a month (very few smoke sessions) which is a new thing for me and I noticed my lips get drier than normal...I may need to increase my intake as well

Hi. I come back to talk about the problems I have with my Mighty.

I received the Mighty two weeks ago.
I used it the first time with full charge of weed at 180°. At first I was pleased about the effect and the taste, but quickly I got a sort of pressure on the thorax. It feels like strong anxiety. I felt a small lungs pain too at the beginning (it maked me worried)

Because of that, the day after with the chest pain hitting hard I went to a doctor and told him everything. He said it was anxiety. I did a lungs radio to be sure, it was alright.

I took 10 days of without smoking or vaping anything for it to calm down.

I retried yesterday with a really small amount of weed because I thought it could have been too strong the first time, at 160°. It feels the same way, but less agressive, then it passed. In the night it felt a bit like I wanted to throw up and today I just feel a pressure on my chest, but I dont feel anxious. No lungs pain.

What do you think ? Is it me who am too worried about the Mighty ?

The strange thing is that I used an Imag+ two weeks before the Mighty and I never felt the chest pain or anxiety, just the lungs effects (but I think it’s about the temperature)

Could it be that I vap too much the weed, after the weed became brown and it hurt me ?

I’m too sad that I can’t use the Mighty properly :’(

Are you sure it's the mighty? Do you have a similar reaction to combusted marijuana? Also do you have an existing lung condition?

I have asthma, but I do pretty well using the mighty 5-6 bowls a day.

If vaping does not work, there is always eating your herb. That is probably the safest way to medicate anyway, but can cause anxiety as well, depending on the variety. And speaking of varieties, sativa dominate herb is more panic inducing than indica dominates. Perhaps a varietal change is in order for you., but either way best of luck.

Just to let you know I don't know how you try hitting it but in my experience temps from about 180-190 I find too terpy and irritating on the throat. 192 is just perfect and warm Enough you can taste the terps but they're not irritating. Maybe turn it up instead of down! I think 192-194 is super comfortable.

Vape De Herb!
So my Mighty arrived this afternoon, hurried home very excited to unpack it and get a good look and feel of it, my heart sank when I pulled out the charging unit and found one of the silver metal prongs was hanging loose ( I'm from UK so not sure if Europe and America have the same charger) tried to fix it, plugged it in the mains and nothing So I contacted Namaste Vapes on the phone immediately and asked for the manager I had been emailing the last week, he was great and couldn't appologise enough, as he explained the boxes come straight into the warehouse untouched and sent straight out to customers so it's a quality mistake from Storz & Bickel but he has sent me a brand new charger via over night delivery and I'll receive it tomorrow (thank god)
The battery was almost fully charged so I gave it a quick blast with some Damiana on 190 degrees (as I'm working tonight and didn't want to be zonked!) I must say I wasn't overly impressed with the vape quality and quantity, i only seemed to be able to get 5 pulls on it to from a full load. Does anybody know if the Mighty needs a little settling in time or anything I may be doing wrong or anything I should be doing with the unit being brand new?? I've been using a Pax for the last couple of weeks with no problems what so ever, with a good 15/16 pulls off a full oven.

When you say burn offs do you mean just letting the unit heat up fully to 210 and leaving it on for an hour, I did that after I had used the Damiana for a good half hour, I will give it a blast with some nice green when I get in tonight. I've been using herb Damiana, it's ok I suppose, get a nice little (tiny) buzz off it. I'm just hoping when I start using the magic green on it I get better results!

The chargers are supposed to arrive like that. It's a universal Charger and if you travel you can snap a different wall plug on. That's why it's a universal charger but the box it's in has a region marked. Your charger was fine, but that's okay

I did no burn offs. Straight to using it.

Also any new mighty owners before you use it for the first time for best battery life leave it plugged in an least an hour after if says it's full. Or it could permanently wall off part of the battery capacity. I believe this is in tbe manual

Although not particularly photogenic in my opinion, Mighty joined me for an early evening stroll & for some reason I thought I'd snap a pic or two along the way . . . however I definitely think she'd look better against a more industrial backdrop, but I guess that's for another time.

Anyway . . .

. . . . Sittin on the dock of the bay

Look at me Dad!

I am Mighty. Wotchoo talkin' 'bout Willis?!

Happy Wednesday :)

VegNvape, I never really thought about it, but the mighty does have an industrial, or military look to it, now that you mentioned that.

I wonder what an Apple designed vape would look like? The herbilizer? Lol

Vape in a tree? Just gotta be.

Yeah military too definitely - wandering around in public holding it alongside my phone I certainly felt that it looked at little bit 'detonatory' :uhoh:

Army base / scrap yard / industrial plant are on for the next shoots. . .

They look so good before the fins break.

I agree, as rugged as she is, little Miss Mighty certainly wouldn't look so good all battered & bruised.

However, mine is an early unit - I've had her since the end of November last year, and she's still intact so far . . .

Gently gently, softly softly ;)
(Although I've probably jinxed it now!)

Hey stuy, put some good quality well ground dry herb in there, and tamp a partial oil pad. Or whole oil pad on top and start at 190 going up one degree each ten second slow pull.

Then get back to me ;)

Ok so after getting home from work last night I gave the Mighty a blast with some magic green, it worked a treat, really enjoyed the feeling compared to other vapes I have used. Although I realised that I had to take lung hits to get anything out of it, just sipping on it (pulling into mouth then inhaling to lungs) as I do with my Pax didn't seem to produce hardly any vapour at all. Do you guys find this the same, is it lung hits (as you would a bong) all the way on the Mighty?

How do you guys do that? My top fins are constantly breaking! My replacement broke already on the same spot... I have the impression it's because of the smaller light blue o-ring on top; the CU now sits directly on the breaking fins... Crafty lost only one fine with the dark blue o-ring...

@stuy1976
You are right. Pax is conductive with high draw resistance.
This vape works with some convection and less draw restriction. Try to take a 5-10 sec. lung hit on 180'C.

Or simply heat on 200'C directly with a full bowl and start just with a mouth full of vapor.

You'll find out a way, give it some try's!

Hey Michel, so basically your saying on lower temps it's best to lung hit but if I wack the temp higher I could sip on it?

Nah Pissbucket my charger is definitely goosed! I can't snap any charger on at all because one of the two metal prongs is snapped. I tried to include a picture of snapped prong but I don't know how to upload one.
