Low temp vs High

If vaping allows more of the good stuff to be absorbed because so much space was taken up by burning materials, then it follows that if we inhale at lower temp the THC is vaped and decarboxylation converts THC-A to THC that following tokes will vape. Then if we increase the temp incrementally the other things that make up ganja vape and because space is not taken up by either THC or burning materials there would be increased exposure to "good stuff". Last heat increase before caching of bowl gives up the "Sleepy" or pain relievers.

If you start at high temp you will have less exposure for less time. Same amount of weed, different effects.

Query: Lower temp reasons

One reason I do lower temps early in the day is I find It's what helps me most with appetite stimulation, but still find I have to vape a couple hits then wait an hour or so without to feel tiny pangs of hunger if I keep vaping I'll never want to eat.

Higher temps deal with my pain where temps below 400f don't help much at all.

So on any given day I gotta decide which is more important, eatting food or pain relief. On days I do a wake 'n' Vake I'll have much less pain to deal with through the day but need to force/choke down food.

generally I do the lower temps (350f- 380f) during the day so I can eat a meal or two then crank up the temps after dinner for pain relief and a more couchlock lazy nighttime buzz although I start sessions on lower temps and work my way up to get the full spectrum of goodies outa my bud. Also found that starting low and bumpin' up the temp keeps any coughing to a minimum for me.

Those are the main differences I see bettween low and high temp Vaping.

there is synergy in compounds so rushing as many as possible at once could provide more synergy but could get muddled up in it all not allowing for full absorption of the compounds. personally I like to vape low then high at every session just to introduce each compound as it heat releases including the most sensitive to heat compounds. then later eat the abv for the most cough lock effect or all day high.

Often I start out a lower temperature and work my way up. I vape for pain so the high temps help with that. I go up to 390 degrees usually. I've been using a longer (Vortex) stem with my Solo. I can go up to 400 degrees and it's not so harsh.

It's sometimes trial and error when finding what works for you. That's why I like a vaporizer with a temperature gage. What's 390 degrees on one vaporizer may feel totally different on another unit. An extended air path makes a big difference.

A lot depends on the harshness of the particular herb that you are using too. Also if you have wax sandwiched in, you may want to go high temperature wise. If using a water tool I usually vape around 400 degrees or a bit higher.
