@blankrider ive been hitting my fc710 all shatterday and also wanted to tip my hat to you as well and toss an idea out to see what you think. How about a 18mm female joint fc710 in 5mm thick glass? It could even be a little bigger and have the same type base as the fc187 instead of the flared out beaker style. This would be a log vape or EVO flavor saver for sure. I still hit my FC710 with my EVO all the time and love it so I'd definitely be on board for one like this. Thanks again!
Now...where's my dabber?...carry on FCers!

If it's not broke don't fix it. Just my opinion.

Just pick up a 14-18 drop down. It looks better anyway imo. Here's mine with my beast Errlectric hooked up.

IM glad other peoples fc-710 work. My little bead or check valve or whatever, is stuck, so it doesn't function quite the same. every now and then it will dislodge, but for the most part its stuck

Damn you, party liquor
Not quite the same thing. A vape on a dropdown on this design is too tippy. I have a drop down on mine for dabbing and it's perfect and I do use an adapter to fit my EVO. My thoughts were a different design with the same perc. And thicker. Always can be thicker.

mine was too when I first got it, but after a solid iso and hot water cleaning its free as a bird rattle clacking down there... the fc710 is hands down my noisiest rig.... but its a 1 of a kind perk that must be in any dabber collection...

in many ways that perk kinda set off the whole recycler fad I think.

just look at it:mmmm:

@Frederick McGuire I am thinking that about 60 of the dropdown donut beakers will be made for the first batch. About 40 in 14mm female and 20 in 18mm female. I have not discussed pricing yet with Steven but I am hoping that it will be around $35

@fcdeady glad that you decided to join the party. Feel free to use any of my pictures and more than likely other members will not mind either. Your design looks interesting. If it gets a decent amount of interest I will see about having a prototype made.

@alltoreup I am a big fan of that idea. Perhaps a double inside cylindrical can with base plate and 18mm female joint. Someone make a picture I'm feeling lazy right now

Another idea that I've heard mentioned once or twice on FC that could be easy for Steven to make and a worthy addition to all our collections is the Zob recycler:

Works a bit differently from most of the other recyclers we've been talking about... Probably not an extreme flavor-saver like many others, but I'd imagine between the percolation and the water movement you could rip this thing for days without coughing. It'd be more about preserving the user's throat and getting huge rips than about flavor with this one. It also might be a good candidate for a mini matrix perc.

I'd call this a worthy addition to my collection, and would love to give it a try. I'm sure it'd also look much better without those ugly-ass labels all over it, and with a better mouthpiece.

@blankrider did some thinking. SG Mini Hornet 14mm female? Stemline and instead of the inv4 could do a standard slitted splashguard. Heard there amazing.
I'm in on this piece. Seems sweet.

I'm also really really interested in the ZOB recycler. I'd think a lot of people would go for it

Prototype number 2 for the FC-CAKE is completed and looks a lot better. Steven shortened the matrix perc and now it fits the can much better.

He also made a video for the FC-UFO with 75mm can so we can see it function before it goes up for sale. I know that the mouthpiece connects to the can somewhat low but due to the difficulty of stacking bubbles in such a large can and the nature of the perc I don't think it is actually an issue. Or do you guys disagree?

The problem with the Blackleaf Saxo's MP placement I had is that it would take much longer to clear the can, as it wouldn't get much of the vapor from above where the MP sits. Always had a bit of vapor dancing around after clearing. Not that big of a deal but it's enough to bug me, :freak:.

So pumped it's 75mm though, I don't have anything with such a big can.

Is there an ETA on the UFO?

ETA for the FC-UFO is next week. I think that they are completed and Steven is just waiting on the silicone tubing. He had trouble ordering it because he only needed a small amount. I believe he made around 50 units for this first batch and they will include a meter of tubing and whip attachments

It's almost half way down the can, that's too low for me. I agree with @Tweak, it will not clear as well. I'm not too afraid of getting a drink though, that large tube that the MP goes into will probably act a bit like a splash guard should anything get in there.

I agree that the mp is too low. I would like to use more water in this piece which would require the mp to be higher up. I probably won't buy it unless the mp is moved up as high as possible :2c:

The huge can is awesome though and the new cake looks good :)

Well I got impatient and just ordered that Stereo Matrix. I really miss my real Mobius which is sitting in my closet broken. It will be interesting if I can tell a difference in the functionality since it has been so long since I used mine.

Did you order the Stereo Matrix FC-186? Has it shipped yet? The only part I hate about ordering glass is my own impatiences lol....Looking at the transaction list shows that two people ordered on the same day so I'm thinking that was you and myself and then two more after us.

I am the third order listed last i checked. Two people had already ordered months ago which was a bit surprising to me.

has it moved though? On topic though, I wouldn't mind a piece like this. Just something simple. I'm pretty big into the bottle shape ones at the moment lol

I want the FC-UFO but not with that low of a MP. with some CE in the can it will stack...:( so bummed... I had a piece just like it but sold it to a friend and i regret it now that i use whips.
it was same size but a larger shower head but way too thin of glass and like a 8 inch base lol i was scared to drop my nano gong onto it and break it haha. and i ordered the FC-186 which is sooooooo sexy! rawr

Can we get a side car type rig this size with a similar perc, less diffusion would be good.

a small cup like that works better with a side car type peice because the mp is diagonal.

I'm not sure why this hasn't come up. What about having the joint for the MP facing down. Then it could be moved up the can, the support below. And as an added bonus, it could then be used with a j-hook.
