Yes I believe it is very near..... I also spoke of some rumors back in post #1884 a page back I think...

When will you be able to actually discuss the science behind it and what convection and conduction properties are taking place?

We will let users discuss the science. At this point our science is empirical, we feel the difference but we have no hard data on what is happening at the molecular level.

Oh man. I had been eyeing the XP for a long while for my first portable vap. Now I see that not only is there a newer model out, but "soon" we will have an even newer product. I'm moving to a new place in a couple weeks and my new room doesn't have a window so I'll have to switch to vaping while in there. Should I be holding out for the IN06 or is that too far off?

Will the 06 have session modes as well like the 05 or will it be manual only? Trying to figure out if this is an evolution or an offshoot! Intrigued either way.

I think it might be a little of both actually...another Hybrid approach..... if by session modes you might mean the adjustable dial like on the INH05... the answer is YES it stays and can be utilized as in previous models.....

What this new model is bringing to the party is a "boost button"..... and what this button will do is to boost the heat to the chamber....whereby creating a burst or rush of vapor during the time the user has the button depressed..... therefore results may vary as consumers fine tune their own individual taste or method of vaporizing.....

I believe this is going to introduce a very cool and interesting variable to portable vaporizing.....

EDIT : Oops I should have waited a bit longer for the manufacturer to respond.....my bad...

I am very grateful to have those far not gotten infected by this VAS I've heard mention of.... I'm not sure I understand how it even works really...... I have personally only a single XP back up and honestly it is collecting dust because my INH05 "S" simply out performs as well as taste better..... how do you find the time to use other vaporizers.... and then from your line up I'd only expect the AA and maybe the Mighty to give the INH05 "S" a run for its money.... although I understand the FF is the flavor champ once you figure her out......
So far though I haven't been bitten by this VAS issue......thankfully....

I'm hoping the INH06"S" is going to possibly give the FF a run for it's money..... flavor wise.....

So right before this was announced I was contacted by someone who wanted to purchase my 05S... as I was kinda thinking something might be coming out I was on the fence for a bit... on one hand it's awesome, on the other hand the next one could be awesomer... So anyways my lovely racecar (ever notice that is a palindrome?) is winging it's way to the East coast. So MiniVAP will be keeping me happy til Inhalater catches up with me...

And some lucky person is getting a great deal on a great vape! I'm really not quite sure why I decided to sell it... so the next version better be pretty darn great as it has a lot to live up to!

I sure do hope that you don't end up regretting that decision..... having gotten very familiar with this manufacturer's business practice has made it very clear to me that each production run has been different from the previous and in some instances we are left with something less... for myself the infamous XP Q2 was my 1st hand experience..... from reading the INH04 thread it was clear their as well that many consumers felt something was lost when moving forward to the XP.... My GF to this day prefers the XP because it doesn't hurt her throat.....

I see this method of evolutionary development or production as having a double edge effect.... on the one side it makes buying a bit more challenging but it also means that once you do get a particular production release it is absolutely "Unique" and very likely will not be repeated......

I did in fact sell 2 INH05's but not until the manufacturer put 2 replacement INH05 "S" 's in my hands and once I was able to verify that yes they were indeed a very noticeable improvement over the INH05's.... it was then OK to sell them...... I'm what you would call once bitten.... and a huge believer of that rule of thought "screw me once shame on you BUT screw me twice..shame on me"
So in closing I do hope it works out but when dealing with a vendor that is following a unique evolutionary production methodology.... I think it best to follow the wait and see approach...

I would have recommended hanging on to the "S" mod as I strongly feel it is the closest to date to the former Q2 XP and it had to have a 2nd heating element added to accomplish that feat.....

Thanks @Old School - I really wasn't planning on selling, but I kinda felt sorry for the poor guy banging on doors looking for one... but if I get *really* stuck I'm sure the @Inhalater crew could find me another if I'm really whiny

I'm looking forward to trying the new one out! The 5 was great (once the bugs were out), the S is a monster, great at low temps and especially awesome at temp through water!

The 6 will be a whole new way of working... I gather it will be kinda similar to the S, but this time applying the additional heat on demand, as opposed to constant on. Whatever it is, I'm thinking that the evolution of INH has been positive, with the exception you mention above.

Maybe it's just because I'm in such a great mood - it's spring, the weather is nice, my last batch of tincture is kicking butt, that I figured selling this one (my wife found out about the Grasshopper preorder, about the same time that the MV showed up) I can take a calculated risk that the Inhalater team are working off the strengths of the previous models and the 6 is outta the park. Or at least past the shortstop...

Some days you just have to say 'what the fuck', right?

Here is a cool stat. 2 years of use, 2 kilos of herbs, 12 capsules used : 163 g per capsule, average of 490 charges per capsule of durability

PS - I'm travelling with no flower vape. I have an enail and a bit of concentrate, about 1/2 A pint of tincture. Oh, and a batch of cookies that are approx .3 g each. I'm really looking forward to a new stealth vape.

I'm not mentioning that for any particular reason, but if you happen to think of a vendor with a new model coming out perhaps you could let them know I'm in a very dark place, outside of the alternate items mentioned above. Pardon me - a cookie is calling my name!
