@idkI clean my CU with everclear and after alcohol gets a nice brown color after a few runs I freeze it, strain it , and reduce it down for a nice oral I take daily. By the time I run out I already have more made. Then I make a sleepy time green Dragon abv every time I get 10 grams of abv. My herb is going miles further than ever before from using the mighty
Can you tell me more about what you use to strain it with and how to reduce it down?
And what is sleepy time dragon and how do I make it? Very interested I usauly flush all my abv down the toilet

Organic coffee filters and double boiler setup. Search around forum for green Dragon recipe. I have a brand new plenty I'm getting rid of cuz my mighty suits me fine(even have a backup just in case), but I don't vape with friends. Plenty has a slightly airier draw and can fit more material if you want. Obviously the size and portability factors are also there.

I posted this on the Crafty thread, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules or annoying anyone by reposting it here, but someone might find it helpful.
I bought a Mighty in November, I've used it every day since and it doesn't let me down. I had the battery-never-showing-full and not-being-able-to-use with-a-flat-battery problems, but other than that spot on.
I did find it a bit big though, and after a few months I felt like it would be nice to have something a bit smaller. So, for a backup I decided to get a Crafty 3 weeks ago. I have been alternating use with the Mighty and I'm slightly disappointed.
The thing is the battery. I always pack out the bowl to the max and just vape until there's no more. This can take me a good while in the Mighty, something like 30-45 mins at a leisurely pace which I enjoy immensely. The battery goes down by two bars maximum then I stick it back on charge. I only vape at home bear in mind, I'm not an out and about user.
So I tried the same with the Crafty. I'm rarely able to absolutely finish the bowl in the same way as the Mighty before it goes flat. On the Mighty I do 190c until the vapour thins out, then it's max temp until completely spent. On the Crafty I set the same temps, and not long after boost it dies. Every time I'm still pulling pretty thick clouds so it's pretty annoying. It takes forever to charge so by the time it's ready to go again your material has cooled and you don't get anything else out of it. I've put it at a bit lower temp and it's the same experience. Using it felt like a race against time before the battery ran out.
I remember thinking at first it wasn't performing as well as the Mighty, but I think it just needed breaking in. It does produce lovely clouds just as thick as the Mighty. In my opinion though, the Crafty is marginally a harsher vape. I guess it's the shorter vapour path, I don't know, but the Mighty came off as a bit smoother.
The Crafty IS the right size for a vape though. It doesn't feel quite as sturdy as the Mighty with all the fins, but it's nice and lightweight. It's very comfortable in the hand, much more so than it's big brother. The bluetooth connection is bloody marvellous. I like keeping track of my usage, 21 hours in three weeks and that's alternating with the Mighty. The lack of temperature control didn't bother me too much, I only use two temps on the Mighty 90% of the time anyway.
I think it's only real failing is the battery. I don't think it's suitable for my vaping style. Smaller bowls and just hitting it as hard and quick as possible would help get more out of it I reckon. I was thinking when I bought it I would use it more than the Mighty, as it's definitely more pleasing in a tactile sense- the experience of holding it it just nicer. But that damn battery. I just can't finish a whole bowl, even when it's charging while you're using it. And good luck doing that with that USB cable! I've seen longer earthworms! And be wary thinking you can use an Apple plug- I tried that and it took forever to charge. I think so anyway. Maybe I was just being impatient.
All in all, I would say if you are weighing up whether to get the Crafty or the Mighty, I'd say Mighty hands down. The Crafty battery just didn't cut it for me, and the slow charging times are painful. After using the Mighty, I plug it in and it's full in no time, Crafty is always completely dead and takes 2 hours to fill. And the Mighty can actually charge full when you're using it.
It'll do as a backup vape. I bought it from Vapefiend but I'm pondering whether to ask S&B if I can pay the difference for a Volcano.

lol.... that is why I got the mighty in the first place. 2 batteries = more bowls + less charging.
charging every day 1 (abused) battery vs every 3-4 days 2 medium depleted batteries is also something to consider.
a single battery just won't last as long as 2....!
the amp draw is just too much, and we will soon see (if not already) crafty's that need a battery replacement, which are not covert in warranty.
but, when the warranty is over, I'm sure we will see some aftermarket mods like batteries or even replaceable ones...
who knows what else.....maybe better cases so they won't chip/break ......
(this can be already "a thing" with a 3d printer, and taking it a step further, cases with a hatch to replace batteries like the arizer air)

I am curious as to why so many people start at 190°C and work upward with this vape. I get delicious and dense clouds from 175°C. By the time I reach 180°C, there is no more vapor being produced. The lower temps allow everything to be extracted and also preserve flavor for almost the entire bowl. I see absolutely no point in going above 180°C. Each to his own, I guess.

It extracts faster on higher temps. Sometimes I start on 200'C boost mode directly if not at home and I need to be stealthy. Taste is not so good, clouds like combusting. But I know it's possible to suck a bowl empty on 180'C aand nearly nothing is left (half a whispy cloud, not even worth the batterie power to heat up...)
There are so many reasons to extract cannabinoids at higher temperatures. I believe there are actually dedicated threads discussing this exact topic.
Sometimes I start at 175, sometimes I start at 195, but typically I start at 185. It's also quite contingent on your material.

Totally agree! But with the mighty I have the impression temperature has less influence on effects than with other vapes.
I think to really take advantage of the different MJ effects depending on temperature, there are better Vapes than S&B portables. The high for me is always the same between 180-200'C. Not so with the volcano for example.

I was going 185 then finish at 200. Now I always start at 205 bump up 1 degree each pull til 210.

I agree with your assessment but when I use my volcano I use roughly 3 times the amount of herb. But the whole bag stays the same taste unlike these smaller vapes with smaller bowls, that hold less herb.
My best tasting bowls in the mighty have been fresh dense buds, and packed well in the bowl. The good taste lingers longer, and you get more hits at each temperture range, than drier, older buds. Kief also vapes slow and steady. But slower sessions also use more battery life, not that matters a lot for mighty users.

Today I did some solo/mighty back to back and really appreciated how long the weed tastes good for. Blows clouds forever.
Unfortunately it is not a true pass thru system if it can not operate without any battery inserted/a completely dead battery but I would still like to get a car charger for mine.
I started using the filling aid and it is pretty nice. It keeps me from losing weed.

The popcorn taste lingers longer, too, imo. (If you finish your bowls until nothing left). If not only after effects but more on taste, I prefer to not tamp down and better fill the bowl twice. A tamped bowl seems to be more conductive which affects taste.
I can get your point of view: more tamped= more weed in the bowl=more terpenes to be released with a single draw. But everybody has his reason to have own preferences ... (and even different vapes
).I'm rarely after taste anyway, more on effects. So I nearly never use my volcano anyway. I prefer to use my mighty with tamped bowl just like you, hits harder and conserves weed much better than volcano!

Your mighty is defective if not heating up directly on the charger even with totally empty batteries... It should have a pass-through...

I love the filling aid. I lose so much medicine when I use my hands and fill the bowl. It makes it less touch/more good stuff stays on your flowers. Car charger is absolutely necessary. Herbie for home. Mighty for the road and outside activities. It charges quickly and used the mighty exclusively in my car for awhile (when I couldn't vape indoors).

Contact S&B and tell them what you told us. They have been letting people pay the upgrade fee to have their Crafty's replaced with Mighty's for the exact reasons you stated.
Sounds like you have one of the early defective units. I had one and returned it for a replacement.
It states in the manual that the Mighty is able to heat up while plugged in with a completely flat battery.

Filling tool is great! No more sticky trichomes, no more weed lost, no dirty tables any more! Filling outdoors works like a charm! So stealthY! Way faster than rolling a joint. When I'm outdoors with friends I let heat up the mighty while filling it up. I'm ready to vape before they have even finished the nasty weed tobacco mix...
I have one no name grinder which sits very good on the filling aid...

My mighty works just fine. It seemed as if there was some debate as to whether it was true pass thru or not, aka whether it can use wall power and bypass the battery entirely or if some amount of charge must exist in the battery for this to work (a charge/discharge system as opposed to a true pass thru)
If it was true pass thru one could In theory remove the battery from the unit and use it as a desktop unit.
Also very curios about a glass stem for t???

The debate was about if it's pass-through or bypass-charged (it's not the same!). It is charge-through by the meaning of the words (through the batteries in the heater). This is why the mighty can't run with removed batteries (bypassed). But it should run with empty batteries in every case anyways...
while your mighty is working, it's not working like advertised. If you are fine with it, everything is ok!
