This will be my 5th. The 4th is packed up to be shipped out tomorrow.
you sir, are definitely a crafty POWER user. lol. holy cow bro! describe how you use your crafty if you will? how long are your sessions?

Ok maybe you were unlucky with that last one that did only 32 hours, but what about your 1st,2nd, and 3rd units, what happened to those? Overall, what do you think of the crafty?

Be careful with the sticker on the back of new units... Not the same material anymore. Remember of the serial disappearing slowly? Now it's the entire label...

I contacted S&B as the sticker on my replacement unit is doing the same. They told me not to worry as the numbers can still be read after they have been worn off. This appears to not be the case.

You can still identify the serial on my unit without problems... But the label looks nasty if scratched overall....

Well first unit power button stopped working. The second unit got the flashing return for service 3rd unit the housing broke off well removing cooling unit. 4th unit flashing lights of death. None of these where ever dropped or misused. So far highest hour unit has been 74.

The extraction is really good on this vaporizer so guess just live with the returns till the issue are fixed. Not sure who beta test these but man someone dropped the ball.

Just purchased the crafty for $100! (thanks to craigslist) no box, but it has everything else...so good deal! now I just have to figure out how to connect it to my note 3 or ipad air...any suggestions?(I tried searching for the answer) in the meantime I'm going to continue to use the mighty I paid full price for
...nevermind, just figured it out! Let the fun begin!

Just pulled the trigger. Have never owned or used any sort of vaporizer in my life. Have quit smoking cigarettes but still continue to add tobacco to my bowls for bongs. I will be having my last session tonight with my bong and tobacco before I put them behind me forever. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I wanted to thank this thread for helping me make my decision. I feel like a kid on xmas eve (literally, next day delivery).

I have pretty much researched everything I think I need to know although one question keeps coming up which will sound completely noob but... Do I hit my crafty like a bong? Or inhale like a cigarette/e cig?

The great thing is you can hit it as fast/hard or slow as you like, i like you loved my bong before bed and while i own many portable vapes i still reached for it to send me off:zzz:, after only a couple days with my crafty i haven't felt the need anymore, well sort of, i do still use all my glass but only with my vapes now:D
so the good news is no need to wave bye to your bong.

The heater will cope with whatever you can throw at it so try it all and find your sweet spot, for a first vape it is very noob friendly so you cant really go wrong.

And welcome to FC:clap:...loads of helpful info and people here, takes some reading but makes the whole experience that much easier.

I ran the "how long it takes a fully charged battery to reach 180°C" test and my Crafty with 21 hours on the odometer came in at 2:07. :2c:

ISO Soak the pieces of the cooling unit in a plastic bag (dismantled and o - rings off) for a few minites...you may also need to take the top screen out and burn it, if it's clogged

I believe @vapesolution meant that oil might have found its way into the heater through the air holes in the bowl... Tough luck but maybe a few puffs on an empty bowl at max temp could do the trick. If not then it's S&B's turn to fix it...

Lol...makes more sense!
yeah the heater. the puffs helped but didnt quite free up the air flow entirely
maybe you can try to turn it on high and sit the vape upside down so the oil can gravitate out (old pax trick)

I couldn't believe it in the first second. But it's S&B employees are (alpha-)testing their devices themselves. Imagine everybody puffin at work :science:

But I forgot for just this first second there are other herbs to vaporize, too. The employees just aren't motivated like we are to achieve such immense user hours in a short time. :D Perhaps they should use other herbs...

I am sad to say that I reverted back to smoking about a year ago..... I documented this in one of my newer posts, but since receiving my crafty about a week and a half ago I have only smoked once, and that was only to be cordial with my cousin who had just lost his mom. I, like you mixed funnel ( tobacco) in my papers and that one j I hit def made me miss it, but after hitting my vape again when I came home I LITERALLY forgot all about it :mmmm: :dog:. You made an excellent choice and doubt you will regret it :smug:
