I just received my second waiting list letter telling me I can order the GH, promoting VapeWizard our FCer friend's video there was a link that I could access. I've decided to hold off ordering for now until any kinks have been worked out. I will be anxious to read all the reviews once they start coming in. Thanks to all that have preordered so all of us can get a first hand review from lots of sources.

As far as I am concerned, they still haven't worked the kinks out of the solo, but I had eyes open, and I wasn't surprised to experience them, myself.

I still use it, but I'll hopefully use it less after I get my grasshopper. :-)

@btka The flavor is good.

I keep getting a lot of questions about smell. That is a very subjective question, and a lot of it has to do with how smelly your herb is. Like all vapes this thing does smell, however I would consider it a low smell vape if you want it to be (not blowing huge clouds at high temps). Since it is on demand, it doesn't have a long period of heatup/cooldown where it emanates smell.

I went hiking with my roommate today and brought the GH, here are a few pics. Check out the monster bear footprint we found in the bottom photo.

I would be interested in an "injector bullet." Basically a modified syringe. Ideally it would have a key ring hole on the injector nub (I just forgot to add it).

I was thinking about something like this, I like it. It would be nice if the end of the herb chamber kind of fit over top of the end of the grasshopper just slightly. It would make for a secure fit so you didn't have to worry about slipping and your herbs going everywhere. Hopefully you get what I'm trying to say, I'm not sure how to explain it.

A bullet like the Pinnacle Pro? It uses like a metal hollow bullet with a screen.

I don't know anything about the Pinnacle Pro but it looks to me like you put your bud in that "bullet" and then put the whole bullet inside the heating chamber? That wouldn't really work for the Grasshopper and would defeat the whole point of it being a convection vape. Something like the syringe idea above would be great because you can put your bud in there and then you would easily be able to dose it out.

I think a great idea would be a sort of pill capsule made out of a thin hemp mesh that would basically "dissolve" for lack of a better term in the Grasshopper's oven, and then you would be left with your bud that you would vape.

Edit: After a little bit of research I've learned that the Pinnacle Pro is actually a convection vape so I stand corrected there. Maybe if someone made a custom bullet chamber for the Grasshopper that didn't affect the vape at all it would be good. I'm still a little skeptical about how well it would actually work though. I am still interested in knowing if the hemp pill capsule idea would work.

I don't think anything made of metal would work as well as some hemp mesh. What could be more natural than that? The trick would be making them. Some genius will figure it out.

If they chose a less heat conductive material for the capsules/bullets then conduction wouldn't even be a concern. I'm just going to put formed screens in my mouthpieces.

I am noticing that when folks talk about what they've ordered, often an "extra battery" is mentioned. A battery is not included with any of the grasshoppers, only a charger (and a leather sleeve in the case of titanium / color). The batteries added to an order will be the only batteries / not additional. I skipped over this info in their store initially, and assumed the grasshopper came with one battery, so I figure this info might help some people.

EDIT: Okay, I am obviously wrong about this. Phew. I should have posed it as a question.

Are you kidding? It doesn't come with a battery installed???

If that's true, there's going to be a LOT of pissed off people (myself included!)

Where did you get that information? The battery item on the store is even listed as "Extra Battery" and mentions doubling your runtime. I'm pretty sure the vape comes with a battery.

So if no early birds were received in March and shipments are supposed to be in waves should pre-orders really expect their gHs in May. I would expect all backers including Ti units to get their units first.

I'm going to guess this is a misunderstanding and units ship with a battery. In their accessory store, they even list the battery as an "Extra Battery" with copy that indicates you purchase it as a second battery.

It doesn't come with a charger. You charge the unit with the battery inside the GH.They haven't made a battery charger as of yet. the battery takes about an hour to charge is what @BuzzDanklin said.

It would be massively stupid to ship vapes without a battery. I don't think that's going to happen.

ack! okay, I must be misunderstanding... true it says extra battery. I thought what I had realized (about there not being a battery) was weird -- and yes it would be massively stupid / make no sense. I don't know why it isn't listed as included (probably it is just conceived of as part of the grasshopper). I had an email exchange with grasshopper in which I realized this, and wasn't corrected, but it was probably just an oversight. I noticed what was pictured and listed as included and the battery was omitted. I emailed them to change my order to add a battery and remove the leather sleeve, saying I hadn't realized the sleeve was included and the battery was not, so we changed the order, but they didn't tell me that I was STILL incorrect, and it did come with a battery. Hence my confusion. I've been overthinking it.
