I made a discovery after accidently breaking my last reducer, If you also have a Eq you already have a nicer sealing 18mm connection than just stock stem on 14mm, So if your worried about stretching your Air with aftermarket stems and have Eq do this.

Take your stock Air stem mouth piece off connect a short piece of Eq hose over mouth piece threads, And then connect elbow to the other.

Just now when I reached for it it had a deep reddish edge, but sitting in my lap warming up it looks gun metal grey. I think natural light brings out more or the reddish and artificial light the gun metal color.

I would rate this a 9.5/10
Completely blew me out of the water coming from a MFLB/FM5.0s (FM was much better than the MFLB, which was much better than glass/wraps). For $170 I was completely blasted/[9] on 1/3 what I would use on the FM for a [5]. It was a LOT smaller than I anticipated though (I also thought the 18650s were like AA size lol). Absolute steal.

"Hello,Thank you for your email.

The double cyan LED at start up indicates that you did not wait long enough to try and set the temperature / you pressed the Up arrow button too soon after powering on the unit. When powering on the Air unit, press and hold the Up & Down Arrow buttons for approximately 2 seconds, watch for the top LED to flash cyan once quickly and then blue once, and then you can set the temperature. If the unit shows double cyan LEDs, simply turn it off and then turn it back on again.

So i just put my Alfa MP on the air stem and its a pretty perfect fit. Tomorrow I'm going to have to try this out.

Just wanted to chime in here, been away for a bit.
Wanted to share that I'm on month #2 of owning and using an Arizer Air, and it's still functioning like brand new. I'll say it's been HEAVILY used during that time, probably 3-5 sessions per day, or so.
The rings are just as tight (gotta let mine warm up before inserting aroma tubes), and it's just like new. A little discoloring in the exterior heating chamber walls, and a bit of a stain, but I really don't care, the taste is not affected whatsoever.
Also, I'm using the domed screens we all got (right?) from ebay. Still using same screen after 2.5 weeks, almost 3. I've cleaned it and re-shaped it since then of course.
Thanks to everyone in this thread, you all convinced me to get one, and, hooked me up with Randy at PuffItUp.com , who gave me the great deal I got.

Trying out the air with some hash like I read earlier in the thread, I sandwiched it between some bud, and it provided 2 full sessions!(10 minutes)

My Air is useless without a low battery warning/battery indicator! Common Arizer, that's like selling a phone without a battery meter or a car without a fuel gauge...

The Air is pretty sweet though, it can definitely hold it's own against the Alpha! It takes a little longer to get going but it hits just as well and I'm loving the easier bowl packing! I'm still not wild on the look (too ecig like for my tastes) but it works well and I can respect function over form. Oh and the replaceable battery is a definite advantage! But without a low battery indicator you have to bring a spare or risk it conking out on you hours from home. I'm definitely buying a new one :ninja:

i was pulling off my sleeve to install a new o ring and the top cover snapped off, how do I put it back on? Actually, the new gong I got in today came with an o ring, do I need to install it.. I dont even know how to install it :/

If you mean the plastic with slots around oven, @OF did a tear down that could be helpful

x2 on the battery indicator I can't believe Arizer tested this and no testers ever mentioned it??

As for the oring the top grill unscrews off the Air
insert straight stem,
slide oring on, screw cap back on with stem and ring in place.

Be careful it's not metal like the Solo and may strip easier.

O-ring is for the SOLO. Let the Air heat up a little before inserting the GonG.

yep, I ordered air vortex and gong, but I got instructions for solo parts and got solo o-ring with it,, which why I Got a little confused... I still need help on how to put the top cover back on..

If you mean the little round cover that stops dust etc getting in oven it should push through one of the four middle holes (although better pulled through rather than pushed i think) in top of air, if you mean the the big (top quarter of air) black bit with slots in it should screw back on.

Hope you enjoy the air through water as much as everyone here

, got a crafty yesterday and although thats going to be my night time vape the air will still be my most used.

The top cover simply screws back on. Do not over tighten. You dont really need the flap, alot of us abandoned it as it got in the way. Its easy to put back on. Just pick which side and put the tab of the flap into one of the little holes that is on the top cap.

@Barhen Does the Air need an oring? I think the oring is just for the Solo.
All you new Air owners enjoy your vaporizers.

It has good flavor and is nice and stealth when the situation is called for.

So finally got my hands on the Air and it met or exceeded expectations. It is indeed a shrunken Solo but achieving this took no less than a marvel in engineering. The build and design are finely finished as we've come to expect from Steve and Team Arizer. The heat displacement -- top to bottom -- is remarkable for such a miniaturized surface, especially considering its vapor output.

The Air and Solo work the same in principal but there's a slightly discernible difference. The Solo draws a bit easier but introduces more air to the vapor mix. The Air -- which introduces slightly less air to the vapor mix -- draws a bit harder but produces slightly more condensed vapor IMO.

Arizer finally removed the power charger from the vape's bottom (Solo) and put it on the side (Air) which is a positive. OTOH the Air's slender silhouette makes it prone to tip over more easily than a Solo. I have mixed feelings about the removable battery. It empowers the user but swapping batteries in and out in between sessions to charge is less than an optimum solution -- as is a stand alone charger. I wouldn't wan't to own more than 2 batteries, any more would be a waste. Owning a stand alone charger to charge a single battery feels like clutter.

And as you can see the Air got my dog very very stoned. :nod:

I actually find the Air's resistance less than my Solo. I don't find much benefit to the removable batteries either. Is there a way to store one of them long term to use later after the others performance starts to fade? I wonder. Can anyone answer that? As of right now I almost feel forced using both because of my fear of one battery going to waste. Sorry.....I tend to ramble.

No problem, just don't store it fully charged or in a hot place. You want about 60 or 70% charge. So charge it fully up, run say two sessions and pull it out? Stored this way (at normal 'room temperature') it should still have most (say 90%) of the capacity years later.

In general 18650's or others Li single cell batteries for long term storage (say anything over a few weeks) should be kept at around 60% charge around 3.6/3.7 volts.

There are ways of keeping them with more charge but would involve keeping in fridge and IMO too much hassle, also i find with most of my other 18650/14500/18350 the best i get is 4/5 years then they have less mah than i would find useful vs getting a new one.
