As crazy as this question may seem, have you constantly had it in the same ac socket?

Possibly try adjusting the heating element?
(NOTE - DO THIS WITH A COLD UNIT)
If you remove the glass heater cover, you can gently pull on the heating element.

The heater has some letters/numbers on it, separated by a hyphen.

I believe the ideal heater position is when that hyphen is just showing.

There are pics in this thread (try searching heater + placement or adjustment or position...

I can't see numbers on mine but it's hot now, I'll check closer when it's cold.

Any pics of how the glowing element looks like relative to the hole in the heater cover? On mine the glowing part ends up about 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the hole, does that sound right?

I actually did move a year ago and the voltage where I plug the LSV does drop b nearly 10 volts when the space heater starts, would that be enough to cause me to have to set it higher to get the same temp?

Thanks

Yes.

Almost there...
I am still using the LSV as my only daily driver!
This thing rocks anything you throw at it!
Nugs, ground bud, hash, oil, shatter etc...
From minuscule amounts to large loads, this vape is a beast!
A few stirs and tamps ensures you get everything extracted and the result is nice, even ABV.

Some learning curve required due to the free flow nature but once mastered, it is quite an experience!
What i am using now is an 19mm female with a closed dome that the M2M slides into, this is attached to WT with a silicone sleeve.
This allows me to control vapour density with ease! A very nice visual control!
I have also placed a thin, cotton pad and love watching it turn that bright yellow colour!
Vaping that is a special treat on the weekend!

Couple this vape with a free flowing WT and you will be amazed at what it can do!

@lazylathe SO happy you are digging the LSV as much as I am! As much fun and novel the Herbie and Crafty are, I fired up the LSV again last night for the first time in a bit and was once again blown away! I swear this vape medicates stronger than others, and the smoke-like density of Clouds are insane, when it leaves your ABV green!

I'm still rocking my sweet spot of 11-12:00 on the dial.....and just loving the flavour! Still love using the VXL ELB without a cap, even with .05 this thing rips like a bong!

I have been getting inconsistent results with my nano and wondering if a switch to the lsv would be recommended.

Go back a few pages and read my posts. I was in your exact same shoes. Bought a LSV, sold my Nano (for the second time), and the rest is history. ZERO REGRETS. I LOVE MY LSV! (And believe it or not i'm using my Solo like a Nano now, and getting some great results with the proper fitting gong so it's super easy to remove and insert the Solo).

Yes!
@stickstones - I like that guy!

Thanks for the kind words! @mixchu69 has got everything he needs to do the M2M mod on the way, but I've never tried it since I gave my LSV to a friend a little over a year ago (I need to get another one!). @lwien and @biohacker have convinced me that this mod is the way to go, even though I've only used the WPA before. I'm counting on you guys to get him up to speed!

The M2M automatically comes with the D020-D so you really don't need to order another unless you want a spare.

Regarding screens, for me and some others, the Extreme Q basket screens work really good in this application. Check them out here: http://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Elbow-Adapter-p/arizerscreenkit.htm

Perfect. I got a bunch of Arizer screens and bowls. I did receive a m2m with my d020d. Stickstones is sending me an Evo elb to try as well. I am excited because I want a nano that has some real power behind it.

Cool thanks Iwien I'm going to order some right now.

Another question what are some of the ways people are using wax and shatter with the LSV.
Thanks

Vape dr. just posted an lsv unboxing video. Perfect timing. I want to see the usage with water, with concentrates, hitting dry, and all the good stuff. I like his videos and vape critic's videos. And I'm still waiting for the minivap usage video???

Ten to one that he won't be using the absolute best way to mate the LSV to water tools. He will be using the WPA and that, in my opinion, is light years behind what an M2M with a Q basket can provide. It's not even in the same ballpark.

Excellent. That combo has made my LSV just about as efficient as my PD was and that vape was the king of efficiency. Also, with that combo, absolutely no stirring is required. Made me fall even more in love with my LSV than I already had.

And I can get all that, clouds and efficiency with the ceramic rod just barely glowing......11:00 on the dial, whereas with the WPA, I had to get that rod glowing a bright orange at 2:00.

I don't know who first came up with this combo but whoever did should get some kind of recognition from 7th Floor. Hell, 7th Floor should consider making this an option.
