wondering if the GH will fit inside its hard case with the silicone mouthpiece?

Thanks buzz for taking the time and effort. I judge what I see over what I hear, and am optimistic about the value proposition of this vape.

The one I have came with my PnP that I bought it from Vapornation. I know you can get one from sunshinestore on dhgate too, but I am not sure of the quality. Make completely sure whatever you get doesn't leak before you put it over a vape you care about :)

a) Correct, it is not full passthrough and is similar to the Crafty, where USB only output 10w, but the heaters, can draw much more power.

b) I have not needed to stir the few small loads I have done. Usually I have been packing .1g or more. When I have done small loads, I gotten even avb without stirring. You can tap the side of the unit though and it does mix it up.

c) The inside of the oven is almost entirely SS, there is a tiny ring along the top that I think is there to help prevent/slow heat transfer to the tip. You will have to ask the grasshopper guys what that is to be sure.

d) In vapor production/density surprisingly it can beat the Crafty by quite a bit, in vapor quality overall, the Crafty wins. The Crafty vapor is cooler, and smoother.

Best comparison would probably be a longer/wider vapor path instead of water I think, that's why crafty gets cooler, they're chamber (maybe find a way to hook it up the crafty cooling chamber piece thing?! that would be the most fair comparison...)

I actually really wanna try a vapor tamer with this guy... actually I wanna try a tamer with any vape lol

What kind of accessories could the gH team create? Let alone, what would the grassHopper really need?

I personally still wouldn't mind an actually mating 14/18mm gong mouthpiece. Am I going to have to hold the grassHopper in place while I use it with my instruments or does the silicone hold it snug at angles and upside down?

They are officially selling batteries, leather sleeves, charging cables and a stainless steel case that also holds herb. The silicone mp is not listed for sale yet, nor are extra screens which have also been modified/improved prior to full production.

Their Indigogo page lists a bowl for concentrates and a WPA that have been rumored to be moved to the backburner until shipments of the vape begin in earnest. They have in the past mentioned different length chargers as well as a dedicated external battery charger.

I'm sure Joda and Ed may come up with stuff too and Ratchett might pull something together like a dock, he's getting a preorder unit for himself.

I don't know what else it may need or people come up with.
I would like to see a filling tool that has multiple other uses, but I want that for all portable vapes.

A little random thought but I've been surfing the web for a grinder and thought of a perfect accessorie would be an inconspicuous grinder to go with the stealthy grasshopper. Maybe in the shape of a rubber, anyone have any thoughts of how to make a grinder stealthy?

I would recommend checking out "credit card grinders" which are the size/shape of a credit card but are perforated like a cheese grater. Not the best design, but very easy to carry

I like the nano grinder that magic flight uses. The credit card grinders work, but my knuckles don't like the cheese grater action.

@BuzzDanklin if you have the grasshopper loaded with a fresh bowl is there a noticeable smell? Like if it is in your pocket can you smell the herb? Thanks for posting that video! Can't wait to finally get my hopper.

A grinder in the shape of a condom? Ahh..No thanks

What you need is a Doobtube or a Jyarz container and pre grind your herb. They are both fairly stealthy and will fit in your pocket nicely. Perfect for on the go.. No condom neccesary LOL...

In shape of a condom wrapper would be stealthier. Otherwise it seems like we are talking about portable dildos or the Alivia8.

Indeed, I'm already planning a sweet charging dock which would hole a few essential accessories. Though I wish they'd offer a spare charging cord as an accessory! What if I want to charge on the go in my car and leave my other charger cable at home!

I'm actually thinking about a slew of accessories to make transportation easier. This is a stealth vape, you should be able maintain that vape with stealth accessories (perhaps 3D printed in steel :cool: )

Ya know, I'm thinking about traveling with pre-ground herbs. Think about it - consumes less space. Can carry more in a smaller container. And it's easier/faster to re-fill (no pre-grinding before filling).

My friend has a sweet water-tight pill case on his key-chain which could easily hold a week's supply of ground herbs. Something like this - http://www.amazon.com/Buyin-now-Keychain-WaterProof-Aluminum-Container/dp/B00F2H13ZM (maybe slightly bigger)

I plan to fill one of these and carry it with me (and the GH).

All I need is a 3D printed tool for cleaning/clearing the ABV from the GH with a keyring hole in it, and I'll be set for a truly portable OTG vaping experience. I doubt it'll live up to our every expectations, but time will tell soon enough.

Does anyone have a tracking number yet??? Aren't they shipping any day now?

Would you want it to have a container below it to catch the herbs? I could easily do it with maybe 4 teeth on each half of the grinder....... Though I would not be able to 3D print the magnet...... I could leave space for a magnet that you glue in afterwards, but honestly, this is easier than you'd expect.

I even have a $9000 vinyl printer/cutting machine being delivered next week. I could make a custom chapstick graphic to match the whole setup lol

Pre-ground. Wouldn't it be cool if it were possible to purchase pre-ground and packed herbs, in the same way that you can buy Nespresso and K-cups now?

I'm thinking little grasshopper sized and shaped doses of herb in a blister pack, in such a way that you could just break the seal and pop it right into the oven.

Could probably have it in a mesh capsule (some plant fiber), so it would stay together for easier insertion and removal. Reduce the need for cleaning, I'd imagine.

Now that MJ is being legalized in several states, it seems to me that there is a market for innovative delivery systems like that. A pod system for herb...bet it'll happen.
