Ya ratchet thats the fire method i did that with my original sunshine d020 matrix both were perfect but 1 was half inch taller so i kept it and friend bought other at rate.

I havnt had many complaints. Joints a little loose maybe. Downstem on one pipe crooked. Id still order all the stuff i have from sunshine again. So thick so cheap its stupid.

Got a fc710 and fc187 coming currentley in pre shipment from stevenelmz, then my kathy egg. Already got my halen trough if someone wants to link me to a way to post a vid ill gladly do it of any of the pieces when they arrive if all goes well.

This thread rocks. I love saving money.

Out of all the pieces I have received half have had issues but are functional, one was really bad but received a replacement and ended up fixing the bad one at the end.
But the last one is made so well that it is worth probably close to all the glass I have bought from DHGate put together, it is made that good.

Let me know if you have any luck. I think this egg would be a nice addition to my EVO and Herbalizer with my modded adapter.

Just ordered my first China glass. Got a starbucks cup from steve and the V2 2015 sidecar. I hope I get a nice piece! Almost ordered 3 to make sure I got a nice one!

Also got some ashcatchers from sunshine store too.

The quality is pretty good. A few small bubbles in the welds but barely noticeable. Almost too small to use but gives great flavour.

Which vaporizer/s do you plan to/or can you use it with? Just curious...I'm thinking of getting something small for the Grasshopper in the future, and would be cool if I could also use it with the Vapman. I may go for something like this or a small hydrotube (like the PNWT).

Haha I can't believe you remember I do that! It is almost a guarantee to get a near perfect one with this method.

I bought 3 CCG d-cyclers and I'm sure glad I did. First one had a small dent in the base, second one had a base that wasn't compeltely flat so it wobbled a little, third one PERFECT :tup:

I just bought 3 Kathy eggs just a few days ago. Hope one is good. Looks like I might have to keep two since a few members have said how fragile they are.

I also ordered one of the female joint eggs from the seller kaite2012. I really hope the quality is good because I only ordered one. It's hard for me to order multiple from an untrusted seller.

She can expect to lack sales then? Unless you post a function vid and its amazing. Ive seen the kathy egg on IG it functions so similar to a regular one. People say its fragile but how? I dont plan on dropping or hitting it into anything

The only broken one I've seen pictures of so far had cold seals on the reinforcement weld and the downstem/perc connection. Not much force needed to break that.

That said, the first thing I did when mine arrived was whack the downstem and the reinforcment weld with a (rather heavy) pen twice to make sure I didn't get one with a cold seal. (Do not try this at home).

Not a fan of Kaites egg design. That mouthpiece sits awfully low imho. Good luck tough.

*edit I ordered the bubbler last night from cleanclearglass and It already shows as shipped. My kathy order from 2/28 shows shipped but has not arrived. My fc710 from steven ordered the 2/28 arrived last week.

Vortex: Yes
Function: uuuuhm...

Restrictions are great at making a vortex, not so great at actually supporting the recycle function. I feel there is a big missunderstanding on how recyclers work. This is a very extreme example. Notice how the bottom chamber gets emptied because the restriction on the drain is to tight.

Good function, no restriction, no vortex. Watch those bubbles get recycled without getting popped:

I am starting my journey into China glass so I apologize if it seemed like an unwarranted complaint. You get what you pay for, but China glass lets me try the top of the line bubblers for a fraction of their price. You guys gave me a great idea about buying in 3s, but maybe I'll take a gamble and buy 2 of each so I can pick the better one and donate the other

I think i was the first to order it. I also asked for a lower price, but i accepted $80.
Kathy's eggs looks horrible IMO and the other eggs on DHgate is over $400, so i think Katie's eggs is well worth the price when it costs approximately the same as Steven's FC-187, at least with shipping to Europe.

I may end up buying even at full price. I'm concerned if this egg will be stable with that small base. I plan to mount EVO on top.
