It is about 2.5inches long, or 6cm.

Here is a photo with the GH battery on the Left, MFLB in the middle, and an 18650 on the right.

I am messing around with the video in PowerDirector, I have it down to 24minutes now with some speedups, I think I can get it closer to 20mins only speeding up parts that are completely unimportant.

@TheWhisper I downloaded HandBrake thanks for the tip, I will put it through that after I am done with the speedups.

Here is a photo of the AVB from the video:

Each bowl had 4 draws on it, except the ShitSnacks one, I don't remember how that one went, it was a shitshow at that point.

Thanks Buzz, that answers the question for me perfectly. I charge both MFLB and 18650's in my Nitcore and the GH cell fits in between. Sounds like it will work to me.

Haha @ "shitshow". How it progresses can also be seen in the widening spread of the ABV.

Edit: What temps were the bubbler and shitsnacks loads vaped at?

The bubbler one was on 5, trying to take the largest rips we could, although that shot got partially messed up because we didnt have the adapter, so my roommate ran around looking for it w/o success so we used the hydrotube instead (we found the adapter like 1 minute after the video was over)

the shitsnacks shot started on 3.5 and ended up 4.5 or 5 I dont remember, it was quite a few draws at lower temps until the clouds got smaller, and then ramped the temp up to take more draws, at which point we got larger clouds again.

That box though!!!

I had to right? I definitely laughed while setting it in the camera view

Hahaha love it! That was the temp setting of 3.5/356f til its done, then kill it at 4.5/392f one right? Best to try that kind of temp stepping test separate it would seem lol

Sounds like it was mostly successful though at least, lot of hits at low temp and still plenty left at higher temps. I think a full temp step video actually, one bowl going setting 3 to 5 by .5 or even .25 at a time would probably be interesting to see as well. Also maybe a similar test of pulling til no more clouds and then temp stepping, but doing like temp 3 4 5? I think many people may use it that way?

Also curious about the Nitecore. I wonder if Grasshopper has considered this at all? I think I'd like them to get a nitecore themselves to test and confirm, since this is a new custom battery? Before trying myself. Would be super convenient though to already be able to charge externally with the i2 I have

No more videos for a bit, that one took a lot out of me, I have been struggling not to just go to bed ever since :)

This is the unit I think they had in boulder, along with their custome 3d printed battery holder I showed in a photo earlier. Matt told me they use settings: LiPo, 3.7v, 1cell, and up to 2amp at most

@TheWhisper It dropped from 3gb to 2.2 with the setting you recommended at RF18. I started the upload, hopefully it goes fast :)

That's not bad! Still a little large, so maybe play around with it more if you feel like it. Though, I know it can be annoying that you have to wait for it to transcode fully in order to see the final filesize.

Can't wait :p

Ok, that's it. I've considered it long enough. I'm in. Fuck it. Ordered the SS version so I have an excuse to upgrade when/if a new version comes out.

God It's so tempting to 3D design/print my own battery charging stand. I could easily recreate something in minutes.

Thanks for all the evil temptations! This is the first vape purchase since buying my E-Nano in July 2014! (The nano still cured my Plug-in VAS, but I'm still lusting for the perfect portable).

I wonder how much spare charging cables cost...... I think I could easily make a sweet charging dock/stand for the GrassHopper!

I have the Nitecore D4 2015 version. Check it out on Amazon for $32.00

It charges just about every battery type.
I Believe this would work out just fine. It has the LiPo. option and a low amp charge circuit.
I think the low setting is at 150ma. ?
I'd have to double check that.
@OF would be the one to verify this working for sure but if @BuzzDanklin would send me say 2 to 4 batteries and a GH I'd be glad to sacrifice some time and my charger to verify it!

Thanks for the battery length comparison, at least we know they'll physically fit.

@BuzzDanklin

I'm curious, how warm does the battery feel immediately following a full session? For instance after a full load on heat setting 5, really pushing it to it's limits.
Does much heat transfer to the battery, or does the battery get hot at all on it's own?

Thanks for taking your time to do all this for us, seriously, thank you.

You have managed to ease all my concerns with the GH, yet make the waiting that much more tedious.:)

Sorry, I don't know that charger, but 1500mA should be fine.

Thanks for volunteering to test for us. However, if you plan to do a thorough, proper job of it you should have them send along some appropriate stash too, doncha think?

I love the green in it, I would like to know also, I need a nice piece of glass...all I got is smoking pipes.

It is small and cute. Not much volume to fill, either.

I wonder about durability and the fact that it is a tree type (which some have said was less desirable.)

I found this 14mm bubbler which looks like it would work with a grasshopper without an adapter.

I don't know much about these, so I'd welcome advice, opinions, or alternative suggestions.

First, that vendor is unknown and untested on this website. Buy at your own risk, your experience may be hell. You should buy from vendors we mention and suggest unless you want to risk losing your money

Second, the neck of the tree perc is very fragile - I've had a similar design (but with 12 arms). The piece started to tip over, so I caught it with my hand, but the force of catching the glass was enough to snap the tree-perc at the neck.

Also, It's tough to tell from the pictures, but I think percs have an open end on the bottom (as most tree percs I've seen on DHGate have this issue). That means the piece may be very chuggy, and the side slits will not fire often (if ever).

Lastly, that piece is an 18mm female, not a 14mm like you expect. I looked around DHgate, but it's damn near impossible to find 14mm female fittings. - edit, reread that description. I think the "Transparent 14#" is not a 14mm female, but a 14mm male (i've seen the same piece listed by other vendors as 14mm male)

The PNWT would work though:

Thanks, that exactly the feedback I was looking for! I was also looking at the PNWT, but I was concerned that the grasshopper would need to be nearly upside down while using it, and depending on how snugly it fit, might be liable to slip out.

How big is the one from Kathy?

What do you think about this model from steve, by the way?

Yes, it would most likely be a 2-handed operation to be safe. But for road trips - I love this option - the PNWT knockoff is great to toss in an overnight bag and go

No clue, based on my experience, I'm guessing smaller than you expect (the pictures make it look big)

Ugly! lol still confused about that one. I guess it will work, never seen anything like it IRL

What is the advantage of using a bubbler with a vaporizer? I guess I can understand it with something that runs hot, like a portable, but then again, if I wanted to use a vaporizer at home (where the bubbler lives and stays), I'd use the Herbalizer, which typically runs pretty cool and smooth.

Does it somehow improve the overall experience?

I've always been intrigued by this but I never thought it was going to come out. People seems to be getting units now...are they all fro. The initial investments

It's not so much the cooling affect but rather how it moisturizes dry vapor. The experience is further enhanced when using very warm, almost hot water.
