No, it will not let me use the up or down buttons except to turn it back off and then back on again whenever it's displaying the double solid lights.
Definitely call Arizer. I would take the battery out. Plug in without the battery. Put it back in. Try it.

Go with the draw don't draw so hard and make sure your screen isn't plugged.
Try no screen and a very loose pack.
The PVHES gives an easier draw. If you have the stems that Arizer sold with the unit in the beginning I think the holes are smaller and it's a harder draw.
Someone may want to comment on that.

Yeah I ordered a replacement stem from arizer and the holes are noticeably larger than my stems that came with the air.

so, I was out bowling last night and as I was leaving a random battery was sitting on the table. I asked around and it didn't belong to anyone there. looked at the number and it matches the number of the one that comes with the AA. The main number matches but not letters. The company is Efest. their website says they are a battery company dedicated to vapos. Has anyone used these?

Efest is a 'name' in the business, lots of folks use their products, not just Air.

The number, 18650, doesn't really mean much at all, it's the package size. Like "D cell", it's the 'alphabet soup' that goes with it that counts really. You'll need to supply those details if you want specific answers, but the general one is, I think, it's probably a top quality battery useful in some vapes?

Anyone else get headaches when they vape with the Air?
Thought it could be dehydration but I've been drinking a lot of water too…

Let's eliminate some possible reasons .

1. Do you get headaches with other vapes besides the Air .
2. Have you tried a different strain with the Air , maybe it
was the batch .
3. Could be user error , drawing too hard as mentioned .

Damn you, party liquor
I tried to quote the quote bluenavey quoted but oh well...now I'm too lazy to fix

From @OF post on page 111:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/cable-USB-4...ply-5V-Tablet-Android-Sony-PSP-/281234981407?

Just ordered one myself

Cheers @OF

I got the USB cord today. Took about 13 days from China to US. Not too bad. The cord itself is a perfect fit as @OF said. I've tested in on my work laptop and it charges fine. I also tested it with a Usb car dc plug and it charges and works fine as a pass through. For $4ish it can't be beat as a backup or travel charger. Road trip and have a full battery when you get there. Nice!

I have and do use purple Efest 18650's (not in my air but in box/mechanical mods) now if its just 18650 thats the same this is the battery size (dimensions) if its purple it should be IMR like the air battery but rated at 35A (or so the label says) as you don't know the source of this battery you don't know if its fake or real but even then there has been talk about over claimed specs over the last few years in e-cig world, even claims that the battery inside is in fact a LG18650HE2 battery which LG claims has only a 20 amp continuous amp rating not 35, while this would have more impact on e-cigs (sub ohm) than in the air its still something to thing about.

I would advise if you are going to use it for anything to keep a close check on how it behaves like voltage, heat and runtime.

You may have a really good battery there but it could also be dangerous, maybe it got too hot in someones e-cig and they got rid, maybe they are now gutted as they left it by mistake, who knows.

For me i would only use a battery if i know where it has came from and somewhere i trust, you will find it should work (cant say how well or even for how long) but if something goes wrong and its down to a bad non OEM battery thats your warranty gone.

Seems Sears has been "pushing" vaporizers in their stock. They list Arizer's Solo, as well as Atmos products.

Stems for Solo, as well.

Should be seeing AAs for sale soon, one would think.

Sears. :hmm:

The times, they are a changing....
I think this has been mentioned before, but Sears runs a portal for products similar to Amazon, so there can be products not actually carried by Sears.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
There are some nice urban areas I'll admit

Yes, I bought one from my LHS while waiting for a pair from Arizer. Off the battery: "Efest 3100 mAh IMR 18650 3.7 V Li-Mn Discharge current 20A". It charges and works well in the Air but I would just use it in case I lost the others.

Just ordered an Air Titanium for $169 from puffitup. Also picked up a spare battery and aroma tube. Already set up with Nitecore i4 charger. I have never tried a solo, but have used an Vapor Genie, Iolite, MFLB in the past and currently have a Firefly which I like, but have trouble keeping the temperature where I want it, usually I end up getting it too hot. I have mostly been vaping oil since 2012, but really need a change of pace.
I got 2 day shipping, wonder if it will come in on Friday! :mmmm:

Want to thank everyone that has posted in this thread, I haven't gotten all the way through but working on it still. So much good info and positive feelings convinced me (plus I had been wanting a solo for a long time, but I think this fits my use better). I haven't seen much about cases for it, anyone find a nice travel case for this tape? I may just go with a small Pelican I guess.

@OF, I miss your posts from back when you frequented the omicron/persei threads.

Thanks, happy to have helped there, but it got pretty crazy. Going in circles and all, putting out a lot of effort but not contributing much/covering new ground IMO. I did some searches and found I'd said the same things (using nearly identical words) dozens of times...........

so since my own harvest is almost depleted(not a single bud left, just popcorn), I went to the coffeeshop again this week, and luckily they had my favorite hash available, nepal.

so yesterday I tried out some hash in the air, didn't have that much time so I didn't finish the stem(about to do that now), butr already got 2 10 minute-sessions from it, so I can report the air also works pretty well with hash.
I didn't modify anything btw, although I did use a screen, but just one screen on the bottom. and I made sure to hold it upright so I wouldn't get sticky hash on the heater.
yesterday I only used green, now going to finish it at yellow.

yes I would do so, if it happens to come in contact with a key/coin/something metal it could cause it to short and get hot. personally I just use the carrying-bag-thing that came with the air, the 2 side-pouches can hold one battery each, and the middle compartment can hold 1 battery+2 stems. the air itself I just carry loose in my pocket.

You might want to check your email junk folder. Lots of guys have reported similar 'sudden silence' only to find the messages have been blocked on their end.

It doesn't make sense that they would suddenly start ignoring you does it? Even if PV didn't have such a 'well earned' reputation for great Customer Service, why an individual (unilateral?) change of policy? Customers were important to them before, and should still be?
