OK, so I contacted Arizer on the 3rd party issue. I asked "Will you cover under warranty Air Vaporizers used with 3rd party batteries or chargers?" As might be expected, I got what seems to be a 'form letter reply':

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Arizer Batteries and Chargers meet rigorous quality standards and should not be substituted for third-party batteries. We cannot verify the quality or safety of other batteries / chargers, and using third-party batteries can result in personal injury, electric shock, and damage to the Air unit which is not covered under warranty. For these reasons we cannot provide you with any information or advice that might encourage the use of any third party batteries or chargers.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask!

Best Regards,

Amy

Which I think in answer to 'will you cover under warranty' is a qualified 'sometimes'? And they get to pick the sometimes. That is they make the call if the failure could have come from 3rd party gear. Something to consider, I think.

Like them, I can't recommend buying other than the factory gear. Doing so avoids risks that can easily (and IMO cheaply) be avoided.

As always, it's your call. But it seems 3rd party batteries/chargers could be a warranty issue.

I would like to point out that using an external charger could damage your air but is very unlikely, this is where a good quality charger comes in, as if battery is over charged (remember these are unprotected batteries) then used this could damage your air this is why i would always advise using a digital multimeter before and after charging in any external charger for peace of mind if nothing else (maybe this is just me coming from using mechanical mods with unprotected batteries and its a habit i have made myself stick to for safety reasons)

If you have SAS, and are looking for alternatives to ( fragile ) glass stems, *WOOD* is a natural.

EDS TNT has some nice ones, only need ED to make them to AIR specs.

He does have nice Solo stems.... On his site.

Woody, pls note.

(I have no affiliations with ED or his company, just like alternatives)

Is this the inline bubbler compatible with the solo? I'm worried these are knock offs so I want to be sure what I'm purchasing is legit.

What else do I need to make this work?
That isn't the original. Its a knock off. This is an original Pinnacle Pro WT. The Micro-Shower WT. This water tool will work with the Solo or the Air, you just need a 14mm GonG with this one. It should say Pinnacle in a white print on the glass

I think my question earlier ended up into a war lmao I'm sorry guys.:ugh:

Hehe sometimes things can seem heated here but i think we are all old and ugly enough to not take anything personal here, and take this site for what its intended for, sharing/collecting lots of information about our favourite toys and hopefully making the experience better for all.

The way i see it is the only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked (this isn't a challenge lol i know we have some minds here that could think of some truly stupid questions )

I love this site because everything does get questioned and that makes it easier for people to make their own informed decisions, and where better to learn than from the people that have been there and done it

I just ordered an Arizer Air! I also purchased the 14m high efficiency gong, and the inline pinnacle pro water tool off eBay. Everything combined cost $210. Hopefully that's not too bad. Looking forward to trying it ask out next to my solo.

Hey guys, I still get a double cyan/teal when I turn my Air on for the first time each day until I turn it off and back on. So nobody else has this issue? ;( Still seems to work just great, just seems like a weird thing to happen.

A third party charger can't hurt your Air unless you beat the Air with it — fact

Thank you for this. I cracked up laughing!!!!

Noted :D he does indeed have some nice ones, and i LOVE wood.. Normally prefer to smoke/vape from glass though.. That being said i probably will end up with a wood one as well simply because i like wood, it would be more durable, looks better to me, and i do have the tools to work on wood should i want to shorten it or whatever... Plus if something happened and it did break you could possibly re-use the metal tip and add a new wood mouthpiece to it.

Very nice. I think youll be happy. Once you get all the peices together and give her a go, you'll know you made the right choice. Keep that GonG clean. Its night and day.

Does the unit force you to turn it off and back on in order to continue operation? Can you push either the up or down arrows and get the unit to respond prior to turning it off?

I know this has most likely been asked, but I'm stuck on my phone for a while and hard to search/read a lot. Please don't kill me!!!!

Can I use my Solo ac plug for the Air?

I promise I'll be reading this whole thread little by little ASAP but I got the AIR a few hours ago and psyched to try and would like to leave as much as possible unused, still in the packaging.

Thanks FC, and you guys know me love you long time.

I've seen videos of people using the air with the high efficiency gong as the mouthpiece. Many loved the draw and over all taste from it alone.

Well I made the jump and added the Air to my vape line up.

Ordered from puff if up Saturday and it arrived Monday.

My first impression was "Damn that's small."

3jgf8J8.jpg

The packaging was not fancy or colorful.

I tried using provided potpourri in the aroma dish, but it failed to provide any smell. So I did a few more burn in sessions with the longer glass stem. Once all the the plasticy smell was burned off I packed it way to full, and struggled to get a strong draw. I had to roll down the top of the silicone cover because it would get way to hot with the air trapped.
I loaded the stem up a few more times with half of the chamber full and still had no luck with any strong hits. Felt like I was hitting a frozen milkshake.
This morning I tested out the stem with the mouth tip which had more plastic smell to burn off. My first hit was still just as weak. Took me a second to figure it out I had to back the stem out 1mm and finally a hit!

I immediately ordered PVHEGonG as the glass that is included with the unit will not fulfill my needs.

This units heater is very good and consistent. I have been leaving it lay flat while it heats up. Since the heating chamber completely covers the end of stem shouldn't the vape be in a stand that way your bud just doesn't cook constantly. Something like

I haven't tested the battery life yet, but don't see it as an issue.

No, it will not let me use the up or down buttons except to turn it back off and then back on again whenever it's displaying the double solid lights.

g14production,
Anyone else get headaches when they vape with the Air?
Thought it could be dehydration but I've been drinking a lot of water too…
