The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Depends how you want to use your unit. Just for stealth in town or at work or more as nobrainer.
If you are sure you don't share with friends and 2-4 bowls are enough for you then go with the crafty. But batterie life is bad, charging time long.

If you are vaping a lot or simply forget to charge your device often, stick with the mighty. I had the crafty first and buyed the mighty right after because all I worried was electricity when vaping what disturbs the experience.

@McSheamus

You didn't ask me but my :2c::

Easiness of use depends on how you load the vape. Direct loading is comfortable with MV. Basket and flexicone takes some more time but you don't have to clean the MV at all (just the whip).
Filling aid for Mighty is great outdoors but mighty doesn't stand from itself easily on a table and cleaning the CU is a PITA.
Mighty has less parts to mess around. If you want to take your desktop vape with you all day every day or want to use outside, the mighty is better. Mighty has a car charger, too
Advantage of MV: you can preload 5-10 flexicones at home and just switch them on the go.
Mighty is more conductive and squeezes every little bit of thc out of your herbs, but tastes diminishes towards the end. Can finish a bowl on 210 without coughing. MV wins in taste, especially to the end but is harsh on red. MV (and Volcano, too) gives me the feeling there is some cBD left. Of every ABV I had from other vapes, the mighty gives me at least one more CBD rich ugly tasting hit, if not 2! Personally I like it! Close to combustion from the body effects if temp is around 200'C. MV is hitting good, also.
MV's manual is Spanish, and the mouthpiece is shitty in my opinion. Way too hot. You have to get water or a whip. Doesn't make the unit handier. Burns your lips if you are used to Mighty if not adapting mouth piece.
Mighty can't change batteries and can't run on AC only (but runs with dead batteries directly!). MV batterie life cycle should be much better. Expect to change the batteries in Mighty after a year or 2 at least depending on usage and if you baby it.
Mighty heats up a lot faster. MV Stars hot longer. Mighty is easier to use overall and has no learning curve. No matter how you draw or load your bowl! It goes through everything, even trough pieces of marokkan hashish or pure kief ( gunks up fast, but MV can't vaporise hash or oil as good as the mighty because of no conduction, imo.)
Mighty has some problems with housing but customer service is good and FAST! Hermes is much harder to contact and warranty is slower, but he does all what 2 persons can do!
Cloud production on Mighty is insane, MV should be good, too (not mine yet but I am confident)
Minivap is much heavier. There is not many pockets I have on my cloths with this size. MV is more a batterie around the home unit. Mighty is more a heavy hitting portable unit, my best buddy! I use it and the crafty exclusevliy!

Edit: the MV is so beautiful with its Apple like aluminum body, each time I get it out with me or a friend uses it (with rings on the finger ) I'm scared to scratch it. The mighty is more an Nokia 3210, you can throw it in the same pocket with your keys if you have a screen protection.

I like the way the mighty communicates very clear with me, the UI is great with display for Infos about temp and batterie and the vibrating feature can be great, too.
With the MV I have sometimes the feeling it does not now what it wants to tell me exactly. Had to ask myself a lot before I understood the weird batterie indicator. And it's really changing colors from red to yellow and green and back on to yellow...

The vibration and auto-shutoff can be annoying on the mighty when you want silent vaping.
I like the MV for not cooking the herbs and not switching off itself so fast. I can do other things while vaping and just take a hit every 2 or 3 minutes if I want. Mighty wants your attention every minute by hitting or clicking, MV stands there politely with its black dress without disturbing you by doing whatever, until you think it's time to hit...

Edit 2: I have the tcmv, from what I read so far the gcmv should behave more like a mighty, without vibrating impolitely

Damn friend, now this is how you reply to a question! Couldn't be a better showoff, thanks for all the details man!

Still a pretty hard choice...
I think Mighty just because the situation i'm gonna use it for: outdoors chilling with friends, or when i want a bigger bowl then my Solo/Air at home

I see you have both the Minivap and the Mighty.

As i can not find a thread on this matter, what is your opinion abouy both?
Flavour,cleaning, ease of use,...?

Thanks man!
It's hard to say. I think it will be subjective because both are great. Minivap is more for flavor chasers. Mighty hits like a train. You can't go wrong with either.

True I used to think that at first but as I've got shitttt loads of e cig mods and herbal vapes already, it just don't wash anymore lol

I'm kind of the opposite, I try to buy quality, then use it to death. I have just two herb vapes, the volcano, and mighty. I see no (good) reason to buy more. I've had the volcano since 09, and I expect the mighty to be around a while as well.

Don't forget to ask them first, it makes them feel like they are part of the process . . . ;)
Lol. Really not a problem, she sends me links all the time. I must have 30 things on file to have made for her and I keep 2-3 pieces ready for emergencies hidden in the kitchen cabinets. Last place she would ever look, lmao.

Hahaha, lmao! My wifey is the best one, that's why I'm gonna marry her! (So she can't run away any more!)

We used to combust A LOT, but she stopped and I had a bad conscious about letting her alone with the struggle of not smoking, so I started to spend her part of saved money in vaporizers

And for health reasons and so on I need them all :D

She knew I was crazy (and poor) before we started to go out. But luckily I have a nice paid but hard job now with too much responsibility to be high all day long to be true (I'm high anyway, did I mention I am crazy?) and I can afford presents to myself (and wifey), so she feels quite comfortable with me just beeing crazy and not poor for now!

To be serious: she really thinks it's enough now. The MV should have been my single daily driver to be true; I wanted to trade the mighty and crafty after the housing of both broke the same week (crafty was my fault probably). :rant:Hated S&B for that anyway. But we can't seperate anymore and wifey is ok with it. I'll get the pax 2 probably just because wifey likes it, too. And I hope she will vape with it when she starts to use MJ again to not let her combust for health. The rest of the Vapes out there are reserved for Christmas and Birthday next year! :mental:

I apologize because I think this has been asked but I'm not much of a techy and want to be sure. I was thinking about a mighty but there are 2 things I wanted to be sure of first.

1. If I am in USA and buy it from Canada do I have to send it to Canada for repair?
2. Mighty has no Bluetooth at all right? I will not buy a crafty because of the built in Bluetooth which scares me but if the mighty has no Bluetooth I would be interested.

Mighty "sadly" has no Bluetooth:

No need to apologize. I googled it for you :)

"We do not have a repair facility in Canada, so it is necessary to send it to the United States. Attention Canadian Customers: Please declare the value of the non-functional machine as less than $100.00 USD and clearly indicate it is a, "Temporary return for repair service." We recommend using CANADA POST, as it is fast and affordable."

I guess the only thing that worries me is coming from a solo where I only have to clean the stem and a nano where I also only have to clean the stem, both the maintenance to keep the mighty working properly and the cheap feeling housing are what worries me. I saw one post recently where someone said the housing of both his mighty and crafty both broke?

Does it charge significantly faster if you charge from say, half battery versus empty?

PS about how much can you load at a time? I have not seen a clear answer on this.

Hi, I have a mighty with a 500 serial number, I bought in early. First things first. I am very delighted ,almost super-uber happy with this s&b mighty because I have been a marijuana lover since 14. I'm now 41. And this is the best experience with using herbs , consistently that I have ever experienced. Control, taste, efficiency, mac truck hit factor or lighter longer sessions. Its all up to you.

-you can put as much or little herbs as you want. I dry mine and grind very fine, if I pack and tamp the bowl I can fit at least a 1/4 gram. If a little moistier and less ground maybe fit a.2

But that dry ground tamped load will produce very very thick dense vapor.
I and others also use a cut screen on top of the load or a full or partial liquid pad (comes with unit) on top so the load does not move etc.

Now the bad.
- its a plastic unit, I have a chip off the very top of my unit just from the brush, I did drop it with a partial foot save on a wood floor and no problem.

But I would buy it again, I've used it every day with very heavy use since November and it gives vapor as beautifully as day one. Seems s&b are taking care of us if there's problems. I would buy again in a heartbeat. All di best.

I checked and it is the same bowl size as the solo. 0.2gram fully packed.

Got my tracking number today for my new mighty storz and bickel offered me for fifty euro in exchange for my confessed dropped unit so I am well happy it says it will be with me by Wednesday :clap:

I thought they was only gonna replace the case but maybe because it was an early one maybe they thought it was a better idea to replace the whole unit . I only sent them back the heating unit in an empty box and I am getting a complete kit so now I have a load of extras including an extra charger :)

I also ordered some extra seals and an extra CU so I will have three in total so might do the WT conversion I have seen done here I have an old 14 to 18mm adapter, I take it JB weld is the same sort of thing as what we have called araldite? if anyone knows :)

I apologize if I should not be asking this, so please tell me if I am out of line, but are any of you also solo owners? I love my solo but just wish it could hit me hard like my log vape does.

I may or may not order one today so I am looking forward to your guys opinions! I have not blown money like this in a vape so I hope to be pleased!

Also what is the function of the liquid pad exactly? As I understand it you use it like a screen?
