I hadn't been talking to him about that piece at all. He just messages me and asked to be sure there were no mistakes is the tube is pass. I said id share it with you guys to see.

Isn't that a carb cap upside down?
Steven asked me "we think the tube is pass, right?" and I asked for a different explanation and he sent me this pic.. Any idea what he is asking?

I have no idea, other than he might be asking if the tube in the middle has to be open all the way through?
That's what I was thinking. Maybe be he wants to know if the hole penetrates the top.?

Should I just tell him it is a hollow tube but only the top (part he is pointing to) is open.

Yeah tell him it's a hollow tube but BOTH sides have to be open.
If the opposite side of where he is pointing is closed then it won't work (no air would be able to travel through the hollow tube if one end is closed off)... Google OFZ carb cap for reference. Tons of pics of both sides to show both ends are open.

So I've been helping steven out with the Incycler, and there is still some work to be done, but at least he gets that it isn't functioning properly now, so it is being modified. I'll post up the new prototype when it's ready.
Also, would anyone here be interested in a larger 18mm/female version of the D-Cycler for flowers?

I would definitely be interested. Maybe we could make it slightly different than the current male D-cycler.
How about dual uptake tubes since this new female version will be bigger?
So i just watched stevens newest watertest video of the Torus recycler. It doesn't look like steven gets how it's supposed to function since the vapor still goes up the return tube. I think it would function correctly if he added some sort of restriction to the return tube. Something like this :

The holes (if there are any) on the upper portion of the funnel are too small, so when he pulls the water rises from the middle instead of the sides and into the return funnel.

Yea, I told him he needs to fix that. I also showed him how a real one looks so he can get the funnel part correct.
As it is right now the water is finding the path of least resistance (it always does) and that's through the funnel, once those holes at the top are open the water will go through them.

he was able to produce the prototypes over the holiday.
he also produced one with a very small can that i like and suggested he might add an inline to.
Please let me know what you think and if youd like me to suggest anything to him.

Well that's unique! Haven't seen something like that before. The only thing I'd like to see is maybe a wider base and a support between the long arm and the can. I'd like to hook up an AshCatcher to one side, and my PNWT to the other side for a huge Frankenstein rig of epic proportions.
