I honestly think something is still a bit off with this.

Is the vortex supposed to come from water entering the three holes in the funnel. Or does water come up the return tube and vortex around. It would appear that the harder I pull the more chance of water up the neck. However i am not sure this should be happening.

It is supposed to come in the three holes so this looks to function pretty nicely. For the original function to compare check out this video FFWD to 51 seconds.

To your second question, "or does water come up the return tub." No it doesnt come from the return tube, because then it would look like Steven's concept:

Let folks know what vape you are using and what you want out of a water tool. That way folks can make specific suggestions and cut down on advice clutter. Good Luck

As I thought, but it seems that on my WOL knockoff, that not all the vortexing water in the funnel comes from the 3 holes, to me it seems as if at least some water is going up the return. I am not sure really.

Perhaps someone else could chime in if they have bought one or have one on route.

For the Torus internal recycler design the vortex is mainly created by the water draining down the return tube. If the holes at the top of the funnel were made at an angle it is possible that they could help the vortex but mainly they let the water and vapor enter the funnel. The water goes down the funnel and the vapor goes up the neck.

It is kind of just a fancy funnel shaped splash guard that recirculates the water back to the bottom.

The reason that Stevens current prototype doesn't work right is the holes at the top of the funnel are way too small. Since air always takes the path of least resistance it happens to bubble up the return tube. Once he enlarges those holes his Torus should function great

Would the Dclycler be worth getting for the solo? It would easily work because of the 18mm female joint.. i know it won't be the best piece to vape with but at least for the fun of it now and then? Or not at all..?

I bought the larger version of the two, and the holes are large enough and in an angle.
Physically speaking the water shouldn't go up the return center tube, like you said the water will find the path of least resistance.
I pulled as hard as I could with the water level higher than @GSH and didn't get a drink of it, this thing is awesome.
And about the label, im keeping it as is, it doesn't bother me because it is not a counterfeit label.
I'm glad Steven has figure out how this thing function, I hope he starts production soon.

I believe someone has messaged Yingmin5 for a water test, don't know if anyone bought it yet.

Just placed my first order with CCG for this piece http://www.dhgate.com/product/glass-ash-catcher-ashcatcher-with-18-8mm/229602829.html
Glass%20Ash%20Catcher%20Ashcatcher%20with%2018.8mm%20Joint%20size.jpg

Saw the same piece listed on Ioffer for around $99, was happy to see it finally listed on Dhgate. Sadly CCG is the only vendor I found selling it.

Surprisingly, the order was shipped within 18 hours. Tracking has already updated and it's on the move, at least it doesn't appear to be a fake tracking number!

The set up on the last link picture looks familiar, wasn't s an FC member working with him in the past to develop some designs?
I won't call it greed, but a few sellers have outrageous prices, still lower than American, but one thing they don't understand is that no matter how good their pieces look to the original they are not worth close to the original, and why is that? For one the resale value is not there like in the original design piece.
I just received a Wings of Liberty Incycler and I can say it rivals a lot of the American made pieces 5 times its value, best Chinese glass I have gotten to date, and I only paid $76.00 and I would have gladly paid $100.00 for it, but I bought it at 75% off, no way I would have paid his original asking price, they are no longer available, he sold out but he also raised his price already, good luck trying to sell them at the original asking price.
Btw, the vortex in this piece is wicked, it seems to go on forever, no doubt this guy knows his glass, and I bet he has been exposed to the real thing, this thing is flawless.

Edit: if you don't mind waiting 30+ days get it before he raises the price more, it is worth it. and I don't know what turbocharged means, lol.

Not sure if it's a DHGate glitch but while the listing is showing okay, the seller's store has been deleted.

You are right, I managed to find his store on another window on my phone but none of the incyclers are listed there, and the page that had the listing has the link to his store but it doesn't work, does that make sense?

@mestizo I messaged them two days ago asking why all their listings are gone, this was their response:
"My friend, there is some question recently shop, can be ordered only after seven days."
Similar stuff happened a couple of times during the 3 months i waited for the upline bubbler i got from them. They removed all their listings and re-listed them at at different prices at least two times that I'm aware of.

I don't understand why they list those pieces at those high prices, I know they don't move them, and I doubt anybody paying that.
I'll just wait until they discount them again, I have patience, I'm always looking for a price drop on the one you bought, that's a sick piece.

And the bashing of Chinese products by overpriced American manufacturers still going on, first titanium and now Quartz? Why would anybody cut Quartz with metal? does he have evidence? do you know Quartz glass is made out of pure silica, one of the cheapest material on earth.

Honestly I just find it a 100% smarter option to bite down on 80 dollars from a company like HE that is renowned, or Quave. Quartz IS in fact known to be cut with lead in china and the fact that paying $15 dollars shipped for something doesn't ring alarming bells in your head is honestly quite concerning. I'll pay $80 one time for me HE titanium nail to avoid dementia in the future, yup. Even if it isn't true, its fucking 80 dollars for a health concern.

Fucking 80 dollars?
Did I touch a nerve on you or something?
You don't even know me dude, I can guarantee to you that I could be the most qualified person in this forum to tell the difference between metals, I have taken metallurgy classes before and I work with this alloys in a daily basis.
So before you get pissed at my post, send me a PM and I'll be glad to educate you a little.

Edit: you probably are, or have used in the past a Ti plate or nail made by me and don't even know it, I supplied some of the bigger names in the glass industry with their Ti FYI.
BTW, it is a free country so you can spend your cash anyway you please, same goes for me.
Apparently the only glass I could find where Lead is added it is not good to withstand heat, so why would anybody add something that cost more, and makes your product weaker? It doesn't make sense.
Read:
  1. Lead-oxide glass, crystal glass: silica 59% + lead oxide (PbO) 25% + potassium oxide (K2O) 12% + soda (Na2O) 2.0% + zinc oxide (ZnO) 1.5% + alumina 0.4%. Because of its high density (resulting in a high electron density) it has a high refractive index, making the look of glassware more brilliant (called "crystal", though of course it is a glass and not a crystal). It also has a high elasticity, making glassware 'ring'. It is also more workable in the factory, but cannot stand heating very well.

Titanium and quartz are both cheap!

Big name companies have profit margins around 1000% :ugh:. They then talk trash about their competitors fair priced items to justify their outrageous pricing :disgust:. Then fanboys believe that misinformation with their heart and soul and go around spreading it :bang:

So true.
I personally have made 4 bongs out of pure titanium, gave two away and kept the other two. Most of my GonG adapters are titanium, my MiniVAP base/stand is titanium, a decarboxilation kit is titanium, etc. etc.
Titanium ain't a big thing.
Now back to our regular programming before the mods intervene.:D

Honestly, no offense, you're some random dude on a forum LOL, literally DGAF your chemistry background. Find me some lab tests from someone or something certified. You're just spouting jargan I don't understand because you chose to major in something I didn't? I'll break the bank on the most miniscule level ever in order to forgo any concern in my mind. Especially when again, you're just spouting jargan and heresay, its exactly the same as people have been "misinformed" spreading false information.

Show me a legitimate source from one side invalidating China Quartz/Titanium claims via scientifically proven and legally certified documents.

Until then, I'll drop an additional 1/20th of my 2 week paycheck for something that I know won't harm me.

Don't you ever wonder my McDonalds chicken nuggets cost $4 for 20. I'm sure its because we've all been misinformed, not because of the input resources they use, right?

I highly doubt from a logistic level that $10 dollar bangers and ti nails are made with pure quartz and or grade 2+ titanium and can be healthy for use after being exposed to 700+ degrees of heat.
