What a nice day it was yesterday.... I took the dog and a small basket of headband into nature to explore and enjoy what mother nature has created. We ran several miles ,saw a small waterfall, and climbed many trees!
I have to say,my favorite thing to mix the green with is exercise. Blended together they are so sublime.
On other note those new extended batteries look appealing. Maybe they won't cost an arm and leg to own...

Almost there...
Wow a lot has been going on here!! Been really busy with work, buying a house and just medicating with some new vapes!
The TCMV a is still a daily driver, it is my nightcap vape while lying in bed!
Ending off the day with awesome flavour, awesome clouds and awesome medication is the only way to do it! And the MiniVap does it in style!
I was thinking of getting a GCMV a but I am very happy with my TCMV at the moment!

That glass bowl looks interesting!!! Going to see if I can find a boro test tube or something similar to test with!

I sent my mV to Spain (heater problem) on 18/2 and got it back today!

"Heater replaced with new ceramic heater"
"Updated to firmware 3.6"

I have been using my Solo/Air a lot lately and I seem to have lost my mV technique.
I find it very difficult to get much vapour out even at high temps. I am using the basket into the silicon holder. I seem to have to take very long draws to get anything out. I am putting whole herb into the basket.

Do you all grind the herb before it goes into the basket?

To be fair the trees were fallen but she's learning on the upright ones!not trying to derail the threw but I just gotta say... There's nothing like having a powerful connection with an animal specifically a dog. They are so smart and intuitive. Which is probably why I prefer her over humans 90% of the time lol

But after waiting 2 months and having all but one of my emails ignored, it starts to feel like they have very little respect for their customers.
Yikes... that's unacceptable. It sounds to me like something has gone very wrong. You should have received an email with tracking information the day it shipped. And no way it should have taken this long for your MiniVAP to reach you.

I don't think you would be out of line to demand they either explain what's happening or send you a replacement at this point. When USPS lost my repaired Cloud EVO, VapeXhale took full responsibility and sent me a new one free of charge.

Just be polite but firm and persistent (as you no doubt already have been). As I say, what you've described is completely unacceptable.

Yeah whenever I use a whole nug I use the method stickstones suggested.
After the first rip on a lower temp, pokey bit the shit outta it inside the basket, essentially grinding it somewhat.. Next rips are cloudy as..

Hey guys-

I went to the hardware store last weekend thinking I was a stealth badass, bought 2 get of silicon tubing to use as a whip (for 72 cents), and it worked. But...then I started thinking that this tubing probably isn't intended for this kind of thing, and started freaking out that I might be degrading the entire experience by adding chemical flavor to the chain. Hay, I was baked! :)

So...I'd love some recommendations for whip kits I can buy online that will attach correctly to the MV with no modding. Length...I guess whatever is the nom is fine. Not looking for water filtration, because the one thing I WILL say about my chemical tubing is that it negated 100% of the harshness of the vapor- I literally didn't even know I was getting a hit!

Also, last time I was here it was recommended to me that I use the smaller basket that comes with the MV, since I felt the large basket was too much for my solo sesh. Again, like a stoner, I said I didn't get a small basket- I did. And it's glorious. One basket yields me at LEAST 8-10 big hits, and I don't feel like I'm wasting a thing. Thanks, friends! And thanks for the whip kit recommendations.

A couple FCers use a Herbie whip, which I think fits nicely over the hard mouthpiece they say helps cool the vapor. You can use these Arizer baskets - I'm pretty sure they're sized somewhere between the small and large stock Minivap baskets.

Well still using my MiniVAP every day. I got rid of circuitry inside long time ago, like 3 years now.. Run battery straight to heat core more efficient to heat whilst it's on charge base. Original batts are crap they don't get more than 20 cycles. Rebuilt my batts now 3times with japan cells. Get 5 hours per batt. So I made an external battery using 3400mAh 18650 cells. Paralleled 2x and series 4x using 8 cells I get close to 24 hour run time now. Oh I use the little battery eliminator adapter as my connectivity to said battery pack. All this inc iphone 6plus fits in little neck bag. Fill her and go hit it later still tasty and good clouds.

So no electronic controls to fail. I put onto base charger every night leaving it connected whilst charging.., so now it's been running continued for 6 months no off time. This thing rocks. Faster than rolling cig, just empty old swag and reload close cap and suck...

The cap lock tangs are weakness breaks easy. I found a way to fix mine 3months ago, now I worry not. Have a spare in case it fails... Heater fail that is. Something tells me it will last many more years to come. I love this vape. Think it's perfect for with bag round neck it's one handed to hold whip tube and suck. My daily driver indeed.

oooh, what's this about smaller and bigger batteries? I must have missed something. Anyone got any info?

Thanks
Build a pack up 2 cell in parallel then get four blocks of them 2 in series to make voltage up to MiniVAP main battery, 16.8 volts full charged. Use cells with 3400mAh. Search MiniVAP on imageur site. You will find pictures there, or tell me how to post pictures here and I'll do that. Off to my garage to clean up and make space for my next pinball comming tomorrow.

Ah, I thought MiniVap were about to release a smaller and a larger battery. Don't think I'll get into building my own mods unless a step by step guide for dummies is posted!

Ok there it is! I'll post one of it in bag round my neck after I've made space for my 19th pinball I'm getting tomorrow. Just before I shower I'll video it in action and post it ok.

On my next battery build ill picture the steps ok. Will be about a week from now when I'll have time to post the process to this thread.
