After a quick little modification (adding a real inhaler sticker) this vape is now 100% stealth!
With the sticker in place it does look like a real inhaler.

I want to glue a sticker on mine, does that part get hot? What kind of glue won't come off from heat?

I've never noticed the battery getting hot or even warm @hi_there but have no clue as to what glue you'd wanna use.
I gotta say I'm using my P2 a lot more then I thought I would be(bought it to use while waiting in the car while others were shopping or at doctors appointments gotta say the P2 is truly the most discreet vape I've used) but now it's serving me well in this cooler then normal winter where I've been doing the "naughty" and vaping in my den late at night instead of out on the patio.

I like it enough that I invested in an extra battery and a quick charger.

Yea I'm really like mine too@RUDE BOY I think it has served me quite well. I also noticed that this vape does work well in this cold. Its a good indoors vape too get some good little clouds and a nice darkish abv. I'm happy with my purchase and I find the battery last me a while. I will definitely be buying the filling tool a battery and the black body...oh yea :brow:

Sorry if this is dumb but you get only one pull for each heat up session, then you wait like 10 seconds and re-heat for pull number 2?

No, the battery does not get hot. I used a razor blade to remove the label because when I started peeling off the label the adhesive stayed on the unit instead of the sticker. I'm not sure what type of glue you would want to use.

I am also loving my P2. I got an extra battery shortly after getting my P2 as a back up / emergency battery but the battery lasts so long I've never been in a situation where it has been needed!
I also placed an order for the black body and I decided to pick up the stand as well.

I posted this earlier in the thread.
"From what I have experienced, Yes, the Puffit2 turns off after every hit or roughly 12 seconds after every hit. Let me try to explain by breaking down a typical session.
To start the Vaporizer you compress it for about 5-7 seconds. This begins a series of short "heart beat" like vibrations after about 30-45 seconds two long vibrations will let you know that the proper temp has been reached. For 12 seconds, while you take your hit, the red L.E.D. will be lit up and you will not be able to start the "heat up / vibration sequence". After 12 seconds the red L.E.D. will turn off. I believe at this point the heater is now off so again you must compress the Vaporizer to start the "heat up / vibration sequence". This usually goes on for another 10 - 15 hits before I stop seeing vapor. I hope that helps and doesn't confuse you to much."

Just arrived, looks great. Washed the outer housing with soap and water, did a few burn-offs but the mouthpiece stills smells and tastes like burning plastic.

How many burn-offs have you guys needed? Did the smell/taste go away after using? The vapor path...well there isn't really one, it is so short, does the air burn your mouth at top temp?

Do you all vape on 4 for the P2? I was trying 3 but the clouds seem really weak.

Also how do you replace the screen, it looks like a tight fit. I see in the instructions you push it out from the inside with the little tool but do you put in back from the inside or the outside?

hmm i burned off for about 6-7 cycles, and washed the housing in dishwater and left it in it overnight. no plastic taste now
and i usualy do 3's then rotate to 4 in 3 hits
for the screen its extreamly simple just poke out the filter and stick it back in its not tight at all
edit: you put it in from the outside just push in the middle of the screen once u have it centered it goes in quite smoothly

How are the clouds for you folks? At temp. 3 I get nothing and at 4 I get very light clouds.

My P2 is now sporadically giving the sensor error and giving those eight dreaded buzzes instead of engaging the heater. So far at least it's ended up working after a handful of tries after giving the error/problem signal. Then It'll work fine for a few sessions before acting up again.

But I see it being sent back very soon. :ugh:

@hi_there I get light blue vapor on 3 and a fair amount (not clouds) on 4 i've found despite the lack of clouds the effects from the P2 are quite nice.

Last night I went to go charge my battery and noticed the light would not stay lit. If I held the cable to one side it would charge but once I let it go it stopped charging.
I unplugged the cable and noticed the plug in the battery was moving around. Luckily I still have two weeks on the battery warranty and I have an extra back up battery:tup:. I hope I don't have to send back the whole unit just to get the battery warrantied.

Hi guys, new member here this is my 1st post!

I picked up a Puffit 2 last month as my first ever vaporiser, partly because of the good reviews on here,
and I have also been very impressed with it.
I was actually able to quit cigarettes and joints immediately and quite easily after 20 + years smoking/combusting!
My lips seemed to get lightly burnt from it but it was probably down to inexperience or hitting it so often, it being my only device and coming off of tobacco joints too, I was probably trying to replicate the harshness of smoke :)
It's my first, but I think the taste is beautiful. Great unit for the money, so portable, discreet!
Sadly, 10 days in, my battery's USB port suffered the same fate as VAPEHUNTERs above, becoming loose and non-functioning.
The company were great about it, and have sent out a battery to me when they saw the problem so I look forward to receiving that.
The only bad thing is, I think I'm going to have to "baby" the next battery in case that breaks!
And this slightly affects one of it's strong points, the portability, as I would probably now be afraid to plug it into a moving car etc
Seeing as how I like the device so much, I would be interested a highly robust battery upgrade if one were available, or just a stronger plug/socket than the micro usb one used.
I'm looking at the quick charger picture a few posts back, looks fairly solid for home charging anyway

Welcome to the very small and very exclusive p2 club @blackstone. I use mine not so frequently but it works great still and love it so. Im hoping this issue won't happen to mine but I will be extra careful now!! Hope the next batt serves you well, you will need a backup vape Asap one won't do lol.

Thanks! Me too, Hope it lasts and lasts this time. Then, maybe $30 for a battery now and then would be still cheaper than the old cigarettes!
It is fun in this P2 club,
I have to laugh when it buzzes text message style to say it's ready, and I'm like "oh, just a moment, i got a message here"...SUUUUUCK !!
And dead right about the backup, although I thought it would be just to help balance out battery life/charging cycles, not to cover for faulty vapes while they're out sick haha!

How's the P2 Battery compared to the P-X? I thought the P-X was always way too fast at getting to zero, even more in comparison to charge time. Maybe I'm spoiled with Mighty and Solo but when my P-X turns empty, before I finish a heavy 60 minute session (I got like 40), I felt like I bought the wrong unit.

I only have the Puff-it 2 and never used the P-X. So far for me the battery life has been great. It's not my daily driver so I was never able to count how many sessions I get per battery but in my experience it lasts a long time. I'm sure not having the fan helps the battery life significantly.

Yeah, my fan sucks. I'm on my 3rd P-X now. 1st was dead after some weeks, 2nd wouldn't let me adjust fan-speed. The 3rd one has a loose usb connection so I have to watch the green light to make sure it really charges and the fan is completely nuts. He switches between all levels, so maybe you turned the fan to level 2, take a pull turn on the fan and this mofo makes hell of a noise, almost as if the vape would exlode soon just because the fan wants to run at 7. I was too lazy to get a replacement after that..

Hi guys, so I was really happy with the Puffit 2 for about 6 weeks. Coming off the Puffit 1, the unit is much improved in all aspects. But after 6 weeks, the heat sensor crapped out on me and I contacted DiscreetVape for a replacement. They had good customer support and after I sent them a quick video of the error, they sent a replacement from Hong Kong for the heating element/herb bucket. Took just under 2 weeks to arrive in Montreal. Now I hope the new piece and I hope it will last longer...

I finally got a chance to try out my Puff-it 2 with the "Glass adapter" and I must say I am very happy with the results.
On setting 4 it had no problem clouding up my bubbler. I'll see if I can get some pics or a video of it in action.

To cool @VAPEHUNTER, Thanks for the show.

I've been using my p2 on and off even though i'm still having troubles at times getting it started(gives me those 8 beeps n shuts off) still starts within a few minutes, ten to twelve tries at most. Got a line on picking up a new/used one(used once) pretty cheap so I'm getting it in the next few days.

I still can't get rid of the taste of the plastic body and it's bothering more then when I first started using it since i own a couple small glass pieces that may work quite well with it, hoping that takes care of the taste issue but does do away with how amazingly discreet this vape actually is.

(i'm still using my old broken p2 'cause i ain't got a clue how to send vids online in my email, newer to this computer stuff then vaporizing stuff)

:peace:
