My air is in the mail thanks to the great people at puffitup, but it was supposed to be delivered two days ago thanks to the fuck asses at USPS!! Lmao I hate waiting for my vapes
I've even seen people on my social medias complaining about how shitty USPS has been lately! I really hope this isn't indicative of things to come... We need to fund them, and NASA, and a whole lot of other stuff...

You're far from alone, for sure. Maybe we should make a support group.........

I'm blessed with 'the world's friendliest Postman', most every day brings some new insight along with my mail. His 'take' is they (the PO) is trying to transition into small package delivery as the volume of first class (their traditional 'bread and butter') declines (no doubt due to on line alternatives). He thinks they're ill suited to the change as it's being done. It's part of the move to 'cluster boxes' rather than individual service as well. He ends up bringing truly heavy and large boxes that were formerly moved by Fed Ex and UPS, both of which have trucks and other infrastructure better suited to the task.

BTW, he thinks injuries from the heavy/awkward boxes is on the rise. He also points out that substitutes get so far behind many packages come back to the PO to try again the next day. To listen to him, it's not likely to get much better anytime soon.

Yes, you can, but it's pretty frail compared to Solo. I don't recommend doing it, IMO it's a real risk and there's nothing really to be gained.

I've noticed one of my batteries has a slight dent on the flat side(negative side), is this anything to be concerned about?
all my batteries have a bit of a shiny spot at the same place on the negative side(about where the little spring insiode the batterycap of the air touches the battery), but only one of them has the dent, wich I can also feel, the others it's only a visible slightly shiny spot but it feels flat.

all my batteries are OEM batteries purchased together with my air, I've also not noticed any difference in performance between he batteries. don't really know when the dent appeared, but it's been there for a while, I've used the battery with the dent and it doesn't seem like a problem, just want to be sure I'm not risking any damage to my air.

I don't think so. Many of my Li-ions have such minor dents (from other vapes, flashlights and such. No problems with any of them.

New 60mm Stubby Vortex @PV!! But Surprise, Surprise, no Stock…

PVHES Vortex Stubby

  • regular bowl size
  • 60mm total stem length
  • heavy wall vortex construction
  • micro channel technology
  • multiple air entry points
  • WARNING: Stubby stems are very short and can transfer hot vapor
  • caution must be taken with these small and discreet stems, they can become HOT!

I thought that was just how they were?... stop spreading folklore about some mythical "in stock" vortex, we should all know better by now. And youre scarring the children!

Also how long are the regular ones? One more thing if i recall correctly is that they said they promised multiple additions to the vortex line.

From what i did gather from all their super vague answers to my questions and others is.... that the regular stems shoulda been in earlier this week. BUT i guess they never bothered reading my questions and answered multiple times about the regular pvhes..... not their vortex.

Thats pretty awesome about the stubby vortex stems. Now maybe i wont have to shorten one myself LOL

But they are very right about the heat. I shortened my turbo to 77.5mm and without a plastic tip like the Arizer small stems the turbo gets HOT. I shortened my "shorty" to 95mm and it doesnt get near as warm near as quik as the turbo.... But still warms up noticeably faster than a stock PVHES of course.

SO a vortex at 60mm will likely get too hot for most in my opinion. I like combustion as well so im used to the hot hits and dont even mind them... BUT i dont like burning my fingers or lips and even at 77.5mm if i run a 2nd session back to back with it, first green and 2nd red like my normal vape sessions, at the end it starts to get too hot on the lips so i have to take a break and let it cool or switch stems between session.... I switch stems most the time.

Just a heads up to some. I like the idea of the stubby vortex but think 60mm without a tip is probably shorter than a lot of "vapers" will enjoy due to the increased heat. If i shorten any more i wont take them shorter than 80mm -personally from my experiences.

 PIU open box Airs sold out last night. Maybe next time! Just asked Randy why they were returned and he said they were gone. Working up a best price w/ 2 extra batteries for me.

Yup, it (last one sold) happened between 9:09 PM when I sent an email to a friend wanting one and 9:13 when he tried to buy one.......

They don't last long for sure. Hopefully they'll be back soon......and gone again too fast.

Been using my stem with the "shorty screen"(infamous sinclue screens smashed down to a flat half bowl) this is my new favorite method of using the Air. Its like adding water to your emtpy shampoo bottle, where you get a little more out of it. With the the bowl being small and brought up closer to the "crucible" (do we still call
it that?- its been a while) it gets deeper heat penetration and I get thoroughly extracted material. We all know this, but just providing some reading for the "lurkers" and thread addicts.
Well. Ya gotta be quik draw McGraw whiff dem their stems.
Not to be confused with me.

Well I didn't get an open box AA either. After finding I couldn't get one of those, my VAS got the best of me and I asked Randy at @PuffItUp for a price on Air and two extra batteries. He did right by me (doesn't he always) and I ordered the black AA. Already received shipping info. PIU is the best.

I think they did go on sale once and then were out of stock , i spoke with PV and they are replenishing there inventory shortly. These stems are in high demand and go quick bc from what i believe they are hand blown so they take time. There is a thread here for planetvape you can watch or you have to just keep checking there website on the regular.
