A few questions: Is it ok to store your logs on their sides or keep them upright? Also when tuning the VVPS does the rate of speed matter when turning the voltage up or down? I've been walking them up and down with a slow spin just in case bc I'm not sure. TIA

Thank you for the kind words! I think there are a few people out there with a much larger/better collection, I mean I would love to see Dave, Alan & Andy's personal collection. Snappo, NickDlow, and at one time Sleepininca aka Higher than a Pterodactyl have/had amazing collections. There are many others I'm sure too, I did ponder putting up a display case, but I don't think I'm there yet. The other day I had four going at once, that was very fun but a bit chaotic. The past two days I've only had the satinwoods fired up. Two logs set at about 15-20 degrees apart is very nice indeed, get about four great rips, two from each log!

Yep totally fine to store them in any orientation. I wouldn't recommend running them while that way though, keep the burny-end up while in operation.
Shouldn't matter which speed you turn a VVPS dial (up or down) while making adjustments assuming you're not superman. If you are superman then limit your speed to human norm and you should be ok.
it's here!!!! I have to say I'm REALLY impressed with the speed and service. everything is nicely packaged and the maple special looks amazing... looks better than I expected. I won't be able to test it out till later tonight, but I'll be sure to give it a go. with the three different tips, which one do you recommend starting out with for a newbie? nylon, gong, or dd
Awesome, glad it's there! Stem wise it depends on what you're after, the Nylon will give you the largest/easiest cloudy hit while the GonG and DD are better for multiple hits with stirring, etc.

Haha well on a more serious note, I just unwrapped the most stunning looking log vape I've ever laid eyes on. I love it, she's a bit bulky on the outside which is nice because there is more surface to stare at while I vape lol. But on the inside... she is lean n mean. Enough talking here she is in all her glory!

just gave mine the maiden voyage.. I tried the GonG first and then switched to the nylon. I notice the nylon has a lot less space in it compared to the gong... that tiny tip. got about 1-2 hits off each load, I barely covered the bottom of the filter and got 1-2 per load. 6 hits total, but the last one was barely any in the load, so I got 1 full one. only 2-3 were those big thick milky clouds. after those I'm nicely buzzed, but not as far gone as I expected. I mean I used MINISCULE amounts of material, but I got a bit worried after hearing people say that "2 hits and their full gone" that I wondered if I was doing anything wrong?

I find with the nylon it's better if it's not packed all the way full. I get similar clouds, use less material and have no risk of combustion. They definitely have their place, but I find I get my best results from the gongs. Also playing with the depth of the screens can give some good results (especially to cool it off by moving it further away from the heater).
Also considering how much the nylon holds...I definitely wouldn't be expecting more than 2 milky hits unless you're packing it really full. My nylon stem is full and the amount doesn't measure as even a .1 on my scale.
As an aside, this might be one of the best vaporizers I've ever purchased, thinking of getting my friend one as a wedding gift. The whole aromatherapy thing is just icing on the cake for his future wife.
