I guess I edited too many times, won't let me do it anymore. Just wanted to post that I received a tracking number this morning for my Lily, and @matte green wrote me saying they wanted me to have the Daisy as soon as possible, and not delay it to ship with the Lily. Completely understand that, and am very thankful, actually. I enjoyed the Daisy so so much in her first session last night. I'm going to be telling people about this thing! Now all I need is a suitable carrying case...has anyone found one that would fit the Daisy, torch and some herb?

I'm glad to hear that your other new contraption is being shipped separately and all is well...but just curious that on the packing slip you did receive for the first item that a reference was not made to the effect that your other item on your order was not showing a Backorder status. Sounds like the shipping department could possibly be partaking in the use of smokeable's on his or her break!!! LOL!!!

I'm also glad and interested in the fact that the Daisy not only works to your satisfaction but that your statements shows the rest of us that we should get one for ourselves.....

I guess the size of the case to carry your new toy depends on how much of the "Dry Herb Material you use in a given day.....maybe a case for carrying a 'sidearm' might do the trick so check out a store like Bass Pro or any other store which carries outdoor activities and Sporting Goods. But if you use a lot how about a store which carries luggage!!! LOL!!!

Take care......Frodo

@Unisonruss I am thinking either one of these with the pick and pluck foam would work well? Haven't gotten to order one yet so I'm not 100% but the dimensions look appropriate for the task.

Nice meeting you Frodo!

As for the packing slip, I was only mentioning that there wasn't one, suggesting there should've been in one, especially in this case due to it being a partial shipment. Luckily their customer service is fantastic on this forum, and woke up to the answer I was expecting :)

The Daisy definitely has matched and exceeded my expectations as far as performance, efficiency, flavor, and well...everything else. The flavor is incredibly pure, unbelievable clean (just don't overheat!) and not harsh on the throat. It's also really nice to hold in your hand, the finish on it is terrific. It's also beautiful, thus why I'm proud to show it in my avatar! This is instantly becoming my favorite piece at the moment, I can't wait to try out the Lily once it gets here!

I use one of those soft CD carry cases. Fits everything in there easily with the neck detached. I don't use the mouthpiece but put it on when in the case to seperate the glass from a grinder. The torch and a Jyar will fit in there nicely. The intake stem goes into an inner pocket. The level of padding is adequete for most situations.

Just an FYI, I have found that by going to a computer store I can buy those hard or semi-hard cases used for portable external hard drives make great cases for putting your portables in. They have some rigidity yet they are slim and portable for those of us on the go!!!

Check'em out!!!

VAS strikes. I've decided to get a Daisy since I like my Lily so much. It looks like there may be some purchase specials in April so I'm waiting to see what that involves. Now that I can use the Lily with water I can wait for a new vape.

Daisy is quite a beauty. I am going to have to take her out for a ride once I get my vapman lighter to start working.

Edit: I'm an idiot. I thought I purchased the torch but my invoice shows I forgot. I like buying the torches made/recommended by the manufacturer.

This vape is something else. I agree with everything everyone mentioned, from performance to looks. I'm using my Dausy right now, and it's on the same howl as last night! Aesthetically, I enjoy staring at it and picking up a plethora of times to just look at the grains or to smell it haha. Props to @TriiKLe and @matte green for the creation of this beast. For the time being, my VAS is finally under control (torches are a different matter haha)

On that note, what lighters and what angle works the best? I'm using a vm lighter and a jobon. I'm digging the 90 degree angle more

I have the original that came with the Lily. But after reading some reviews here I bought a Scorch torch and really like it.

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
I think this Turboflame Arc will compliment my Daisy, when I eventually buy a Daisy that is.

^^ I own a couple of zico torches and the only vape I can really use 'em with is a VG. I find the flame too big and "bushy"(almost a cross between a candle flame and torch) for all my other torch vapes. Also they go through butane very quickly compared to the torch that triihouse sells or the vapman torch. They also don't hold up well with extensive use. In my experience anyhow.

just my take on them as i have read some people like them and rave about them, they feel good in the hand but that's the only good point to the zico as far as I can see.

They are great If you use 'em to light a nice cigar once or twice a day, but they are just "lighters" IMO and not the "tool" quality torch we need.

Was saving this one for the Lily thread. Seems more portable to me, and the angle of the dangle seems more suited to the 'periscope'.

Just can't decide on a colour.

Those do look sweet @h3rbalist .
It's just been my experience that items sold as torch flame cigar "lighters" aren't built to stand up to our kind of use. I haven't tried 'em all or anything and I ain't no expert on torches but went through a couple hundred bucks worth of neat looking cigar/pipe lighters before finding that for me the "torch" you can get from triihouse for $5 or in bulk cheaply from china for less then $3 each stand head and shoulders over expensive lighters in both function and durability. The torch from vapman is as impressive and feels made to a bit higher standard of quality.

I've a drawer full of dead or near worthless vector, zico, colibri and nibo "lighters" none of which came close to working as well as the torch that came with the Daisy although all of them look a lot nicer and more expensive(which they were).

Been using the same daisy torch everyday since September, not bad in my book.

The flame height is adjustable on the scorch I bought. I think it may be on the Lily torch too but I haven't figured out where.

On The lily torch you adjust the flame where you fill it (i had to ask here when I fist got it to find that out myself).

The "scorch" is what I bought sold as a zico 'ergo' (or something like that) it works well but mine gives a big bushy flame and I can't adjust it down enough for my likes, and eats up butane. It has served as a table lighter for cigarettes and an occasional windy day vaporgenie bowl for a couple of years now without ever failing.

I as well collected a few vectos, colibri and some other randoms; I have to agree they suck and break very easily or flame wayyyyyy too strong. And most have a very tiny tank which would suck for these vapes. They are just not worth it, you are going to be abusing the lighter its way better to get that vapman style or go to a gas station, they have cheap decent torches for 2-3 bucks.

I recently received my Daisy and had a question for all Daisy owners. When I purchased the Daisy, it stated that it came with tweezers and a Daisy lighter. Those two were not included in my package and was wondering if they changed their policy. I emailed Tommy and waiting for a response. I know he must be busy with orders of the lily/daisy.

I just ordered one recently. I noticed when they redesigned the website, when you click on Lily or Daisy in the store, it's only the vaporizer that's listed, no more kits. There's a separate section for accessories for the tweezers, lighter, screens, etc.

Same here @mixchu69. Mine came only with the vape and some wax. I thought it also came with the lighter and tweezer. I didn't go into it since I already had that stuff in front of me, but let us know what tommy says! Enjoy that monster

I have been using my vapman torch, which looks pretty similar. There is no better feeling than looking down the neck and seeing it milk white and the taste is so pure. I like the airy pull as long as it is followed by a lung full of vapor.
